Everyone please read this review before purchasing a car with this dealership. It is important to be educated on what you are walking into. I had been looking for a specific car for quite some time and was very excited when one became available through Sun Auto Warehouse. After a phone call to one of their salesmen, I went and took a look at the car. Things seems okay, and the buying process was average, not terrible, not outstanding. After I signed my paperwork with the salesman, they brought me in to their "financing" girl. She proceeded to not speak to me about anything related to my loan or financing issues, but instead trying to sell me on an extended warranty while brushing aside the fact that the "low cost on top of my monthly payment" extended my monthly payments for an extra 6 months. My husband who was with me at the time is an auto engineer. He designs and builds cars. After a brief conversation with her it was apparent that she does not actually have an advanced understanding of mechanics but she was using generic terms to try and scare us into the extended warranty. She stopped trying once she realized her tactics were not working. These were not overly big deals in the scheme of things. I signed my paperwork and went on my way. Over 45 days later, my temporary registration had run out and only after I called this company did they say that they were "holding my registration" because the estimated amount ($100) that they estimated the registration costing and had included in my payment plan was not enough, and I needed to pay more. Im glad I called to check on this or I might never have gotten my registration sticker and information. When I brought the car home, and turned the lights on in the interior I realized that the "detail job" was horrible! They had sprayed some sort of chemical all over the interior, and smeared it on the glass and the touch screen. It took me a solid hour to get it off of my back seat, dashboard, speaker holes, windows, etc. I literally could not see out of my windshield once it became night time on that first night because any glare would show the smears of this chemical and blur my vision through the windshield. Lastly and most importantly, each car is supposed to go through an inspection before they sell it. The car that I purchased had a giant hole in the tire, that was plugged in a very sneaky way. One thing to know about tire repair is that you can only repair a hole that is on the inside tread. If the hole is located on either of the outside treads, no tire repair service will repair the tire because it is illegal and unsafe to do so. Sun either repaired this tire illegally or overlooked it in their inspection process. Even if they did not notice this, that still speaks volumes about their methods of business. What else do they "overlook" or not notice about the cars they are selling? The car I purchased was a 3 month old car. I should not be having to pay $200 dollars to buy an entirely new tire within a few weeks of purchasing a 3 month old car because they marked it to "pass inspection" so they could sell it. Im less frustrated with the salesman I was working with because I realize he was just trying to do his job. However it is the rest of this establishment I would not trust, they will nickle and dime you till the end because overall, they are just trying to move cars.

I am writing you this letter to explain my disatifiaction I have had with my recent purchase with my car at your Sun Auto Dealership in Cicero with my sales person Matthew Rupp, and the Sales Manager Jesse Lapparzo. Matthew Rupp, was horrible at what he did, he did not tell me anything and he kept getting up and walking away from me. He kept asking me to sign papers and I said I am not signing any more papers until he starts talking to me about what I am signing. He never even showed me the car until I said where is the car. I also told him I wanted my payment to be under 250.00 a month. My payment is $305.99 after I told him nothing more then 250.00 a month. I am not sure how long he has been doing this but you might want to go over some basic rules with him. I also told him to please make sure my car had gas he said he would make sure of that. When I got into my car it was on the red line of E I am not sure how I made it to the gas station. Matthew Rupp keeps saying he will send me some money for gas this was 3 months ago I am yet to see any of it. This to me is unacceptable. When I went into have my car’s oil changed they informed me I had a 100.00 deductible for it. I said what are you talking about, my sales person Matthew Rupp never told me anything about that either. They were all shocked about it too, they said it is there job to go over these thing’s with me. Matthew Rupp never went over anything with me at all. They told me I should call and talk to who ever is in charge of the sales people, I did I found out it was Jesse Lappazoro. I left him 3 messges in which he only returned 1 of my phones calls which tells me not one of you people up there care how you treat your people at all. I do know this when I bought my grand prix there I never had these problems there and I am not sure if I will ever be back for any type of future service there. To me this is unacceptable in the work place.

On Decemebr 10, 2015 my car was serviced at Sun Auto. They (Randy) stated I needed new calipers which I purchased and were installed at a cost of $680 for parts and labor. In March my brakes were scraping and grinding again so I brought it to another mechanic who said I need new calipers. When I told him they were new, he laughed and stated these are probably the calipers that came with the car. They were THAT BAD. He said the only thing Sun Auto did was change a little metal clip on the caliper. So I contacted the sales person that I purchased the calipers from to let him know his company was frauding me (BD at Sun Auto) and he directed me to the service manager, Jeff st. Germain. Instead of looking at the whole situation, BD told me my other mechanic didnt know what he was talking about. So I told him I wanted to talk to Todd Caputo and he told me to talk to Germaine. When I got there they shuttled me to a back area office where I waited 40 minutes to talk to who I thought was the owner and turned out to be Germaine. I explained the situation and showed him the actual calipers and told him I was charged for no work and no new parts. HIS RESPONSE WAS "WHY DIDNT YOU BRING IT BACK HERE AND LET ME MAKE IT RIGHT?!" My response was why would I bring it back here when you already ripped me off for parts and labor I never received! He told me he was NOT GOING TO REFUND MY MONEY so I told him i will take it up with the attorney generals office. At which time he said he would call me back later. When he finally called he was as rude, arrogant, smug, and condescending as he was at the dealership. He stated I have decided not to refund you your money because you never gave me the chance to make it right. I have already put a call into attorney generals office. They are very interested. BUYERS BEWARE.!!!!!!!!FRAUD TO THE MAX!!!!
