I went to Landmark today with my Cinelli bike. I needed pedals, the chain tightened, tires filled with air and a few other simple mechanical tweaks. The service was ok, although I had to wait for the mechanics to eat lunch... all at the same time... for 30 minutes. Once everything was completed I left the shop. Within 5 minutes of riding, my right pedal popped out. The same one I purchased and they had installed. I saw the threads of my new crank arm were completely destroyed. I quickly called the shop to see if they could help. I was met with the rudest service by a smug owner who didnt seem to care about the situation at all. He questioned my "bike riding abilities" as if I didnt know what I was doing on a bike... I ride a 58cm fixed with no brakes, I know what Im doing. Nothing was resolved and he told me to get the F out of his shop. Ill be bringing my bike to the much superior Chari & Co. Just across the bridge in the LES where they actually know what they are doing. NEVER GO HERE, DONT GET ANY SERVICE DONE, TERRIBLE BUSINESS.

OK, you can go to a used bike store and get a cool looking vintage bike from the 70s or 80s that will be functional for NYC. Or, you can come here, and pay SLIGHTLY more and get a serious machine that is going to do work. These are not your Wal-Mart or Target bikes, these are affordable new bikes made by some of the most cutting-edge manufacturers in the country. I bought a new bike here last week after having my vintage one stolen, and I cant speak well enough of the people in the store or the quality of the product. Its why Landmark has gained a reputation as the best store in Brooklyn (and maybe NYC) for buying new bikes.

Borrowed a bike from a friend but needed more adjustments than he could make with his meager tool selection. Visited Landmark to buy an allen set and a bottle cage, and wound up getting more help than I generally expect! JR was very helpful and made two tricky adjustments quickly and properly without making a fuss or emptying my wallet. While I was there, a woman came to rent a bike. Although they were out of her size rental, JR offered to rent her a nice used bike (or was it his bike?) rather than turn her away. The kind of customer service example shops should follow.

Landmark has great hours, a convenient location, clean aesthetic and a good selection of bikes. However, if you want more from a bike shop, like good service, an informative chat, kindness and integrity, this is not the place. I was tempted to leave a nasty review (which I am not) because one of their guys berated me about my attempt to build a bike after I came in for help. Hello! It was not pleasant. Moreover, they promised to call me with a quote next day, and two days went by with nothing. I pulled my bike out, and would not recommend their shop.

I got a great bike but within the first week I had to bring the bike back 3 times to get it adjusted even after me telling them what was wrong with it before I even made the perches. I bought a speedometer from them close to 2 weeks ago and Im still waiting for it. I had a problem with my speed changer and loose wheel, not even a week later the same problem came back.

Ive been to this bike shop several times. Always good quality service, pretty fast. Decent prices on services, bikes and bike accessories/parts. They have a fairly big selection of helmets, locks, saddles. The bikes they sell are mostly new. They also have some used ones (refurbished if I am not mistaken) in the back. Its a fairly big selection of bikes.

Fixed what I needed for cheap, staff was very polite, and the shop seems to have a lot of cool accessories for my bike Ill surely have fun looking at in the future. Highly recommend over other bike shops in the area, which seem to be prone to staffing arrogant and rude hipsters. Go to these guys instead.

My bike was in rough shape and I had a bad wreck which required a lot of work. Though many of the parts on my bike were no longer available they found cost-friendly ways to get me back on the road with minimal impact to my wallet. High quality service even if youre paying NYC prices.

Very cookie-cutter service. Did not care about my situation at all. I had to carry my bike off of the bridge to their shop for repairs in the rain, which was pretty miserable. They robotically told me repairs were $150 and they would call when ready. Wish they cared just a bit more :/

These guys know what theyre doing and we very helpful. Pedro was patient and spent time walking me through various options for the criteria I gave him for a bike I wanted. They gave me a chain for my seat and installed my lock FOC. Great place and I highly recommend it!

My new favorite bike shop. I took my bike in this morning to fix the toe clip. All they had to do was fasten a new bolt in. The guy did it and didnt charge me! He said I was all good! Made me feel like I was in back in a small town which Williamsburg really is.

We rented bikes for one day and found them really expensive for the kind of bike they gave us. The bikes had flat tires, no gears and we could only get one helmet because there were none left. The staff was grumpy and not helpful. I would not recommend it.

Went in there to get a tube but no one paid attention and they were super rude when I asked if I could Apple Pay.

Good service and some cheap bikes for sale. $17.50 to swap a flat is a bit much though if you ask me.

They were quiet, but knowledgeable, quick and cost effective! Definitely coming by this place again.
