My son saw this shop one day while we were in Saugerties and wanted to check it out. He fell in love with a bike, but then decided he wanted a different model and color, so we ordered it. He loved it so much (as did the whole neighborhood) that two of my other sons went in to order bikes as well. Each one was given to us in great condition, work was done fast when they wanted to swap out other parts to customize their bike. I then brought in my ancient mountain bike which they got ready for me to ride again. Every time we are there it is a wonderful, small-town, friendly, atmosphere where we can hang out and chat with the owners. Recently we were buglarized and all three boys bikes were stolen from our locked garage! Miraculously the police were able to retrieve their bikes - unfortunatley they had been spray painted, stripped, and custom parts removed. We brought the bikes back up to get serviced and needed some new parts. The kind folks who own Revolution put the bikes back together, and serviced them, and made them ridable again without charging labor! I will always go to this shop for our family bike needs. There are a few bike shops in the town where I live, but I feel it is worth the 20 minute drive to go to Saugerties to Revolution Bikes. I would recommend them to anybody in the Hudson Valley looking for bikes.

I have been a customer of the Revolution Bike shop for the last 2 years. I came upon this shop by chance when I was looking for a shop that would actually listen to me and understand what I wanted. Later that week my new Surly pacer frame arrived and Steve did a fantastic job of building it up with vintage parts from my collection, helped me source nice bits from Velo Orange and was as into the build as I was. Other shops were only interested in selling me a new bike and had no interest in building me what I wanted. Steve, Sam and Stella are avid bikers, talented builders, and have an eye for cool vintage bikes, stock a nice selection of quality new bikes, and take customer service personally. Recently they have expanded the shop and added the “candy store” with a nice selection of the “sweetest” BMX bikes and parts to be found anywhere in the area.

A local shopping experience unlike any other! The staff at Revolution are friendly, knowledgeable and very quick to help! Wither Ive just wrecked my bike and need it needs new parts and some master tuning or Im looking to buy a new ride, Steve and Samantha have always gone above and beyond to make sure I am getting exactly what I need, quickly! Revolutions customer service and their wealth of knowledge/experience have won my loyalty and my repeat business! Thanks for always making me feel like your most important customer even though Im one of many pleased clients.

This is a cool shop. Been meaning to go there for a while as I have heard good things and glad I finally did. They had everything I needed to bring an old Raleigh 3speed back to life and they gave my boyfriends full suspension mountain bike the best tune-up hes had- and got it back to us in the time it took us to get lunch in the Village! They had a lot of interesting stuff in the place that you dont usually find, and I enjoyed some bike talk with the owners- one of which is a woman, which is also cool. This is my new go to place. Definitely worth the trip.

I was so excited when a bike shop opened in Saugerties a few years ago. My husband and I are both cyclists so having a convenient place to go for bike parts, accessories, and maintenance is great. They are always really friendly and repairs are done quickly. Revolution Cycles is definitely a welcome addition to downtown Saugerties!

Have purchased a new mountain bike as well as many accessories from Revolution. If they dont have something in stock, they will gladly order it for you. Repairs are always quick and the staff is always helpful!

Steve and his wife are down to earth and knowlegeable. Even though it is out of my way, I feel satisfied I am in good hands and it is worth the extra half hour drive versus the nearest bicycle shop
