****WARNING/DANGER/BEWARE/INFESTED APPLIANCES****I never do reviews even if the service is bad, however, I need to tell the world about this because I have never seen something so disgusting before in my life. On June 15, 2017 these people delivered a filthy (INFESTED & OLD FOOD ALL OVER) refurbished refrigerator to my apartment. As soon as I opened it up there were scores of cockroaches crawling out of the fridge and coming from every crevice you could think of. The fridge was DISGUSTING and INFESTED! I personally called them and spoke to their nasty manager, Ira to request a replacement be sent. Instead, it was alluded to that I was lying even after I told him that I had pictures. Furthermore, he told me that a technician (who by nature/trade has no experience with bugs) has to come to see the fridge in order for it to be replaced. When the "technician" ("Pedro" who barely spoke English and therefore couldnt understand my explanation of the problem) came to my apartment he refused to look at the pictures I had of the roaches and instead proceeded to look at the fridge to find other "technical" problems. For example, he blamed me for the fact that the fridge was leaking and referenced the fact that the temperature dial was turned up to high (even though it is summer/hot and the fridge door wouldnt close all the way allowing the cold air to escape). Moreover, the "technician" opened the refrigerator doors to "look" for the roaches even though he is not trained in pest control so he naturally wouldnt know where to look (also roaches are nocturnal so they obviously wouldnt decide to show their face at 11:26 AM). In fact, upon entering the kitchen and PRIOR to even opening up to fridge door the "technician" stated that, "there are no roaches." After he finished he said that he had seen no evidence of roaches and said that his company delivers clean fridges. I proceeded to tell him that the refrigerator was disgusting and that the only reason that it was sparkling white was because the day I got it I spent SIX HOURS cleaning it with hot water and disinfectant/cleaning solutions. He refused to believe that they delivered a cockroach infested and food ridden appliance and claimed that they would never give a fridge that was dirty. Basically, he didnt believe that I cleaned it which is weird because regardless of whether or not an appliance is new or refurbished you should clean it before using it--to not do so would be disgusting. When he realized how ridiculous his argument was he backtracked and claimed that the truck they deliver the appliances in must be dirty and infested not the refrigerators themselves. My question to him was "HOW IS THAT BETTER?!?!?" So it is NORMAL for the delivery truck to be infested but it is strange that the appliances might be infested as well? I was baffled by him and his half-baked explanations, to say the least. At this point, I was frustrated and wanted him out of my apartment. I realized that he was only a puppet sent here to contradict everything I claimed about the fridge even though I told him that it was so filthy to point that when I put a cup of water inside the fridge and came back to drink it there was a roach inside it. I have never seen something so ABSURD, DISGUSTING and DISTURBING in my life. This company has been completely ATROCIOUS and UNAPOLOGETIC and I hope that anyone who considers using their services understands that to do so would come at the cost of ones patience and sanity. ***I ALSO HAVE TO SAY THAT THE ONLY REASON WHY I GAVE THEM ONE STAR IS BECAUSE THE SYSTEM DOESNT ALLOW ME TO GIVE THEM ANYTHING LOWER!!! NEGATIVE STARS!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY!!! USE AT YOUR OWN PERIL AND IF YOU DO I PRAY FOR YOU!!!***

LAND APPLIANCE IS A SLAVERY COMPANY.WASNT UNTIL AN EMPLOYER CALLED 311 THINGS CHANGE JUST FOR A FEWS WEEKS AND ALL THEY DID WAS PUT THOSE POOR PEOPLE ON THE BOOKS.BUT STILL NO BENEFITS IF YOU GET HURT BRINGING UP A 18"CB REFRIGERATOR UP 5 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS NO BY AN ELEVATOR BUT ACTUALLY LIFTING IT UP ALL 5 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS!! AND BELIEVE ME IT CAN GET ALOT WORST!! IMAGNE WALKING UP 4 PIECES 2 STOVES AND 2 FRIDGES UP 5 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS AND THEY THE OLD ONES OUT THE APARTMENT AND NOW YOU GOT BRING DOWN 2 STOVES AND 2 OLD FRIDGES 18"CB REFRIGERATOR AND 30"STOVES. SORRY IM SAYING THIS BUT IT CAN GET MUCH WORST. AND YOU GET 13 DELIVERIES PER DAY AND KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSS THAT THE BUILDING YOURE GOING TOO AS AN ELEVATOR AND THAT YOU DONT GET A 6 FLIGHT WALK UP. AND YOU COME ACROSS SOME OF THE MOST DISGUSTING PEOPLE YOU WOULD NOT BELEIVE IT.PEOPLE WITH INFESTED FRIDGES AND THE BOSS TOLD THE EMPLOEE HE HAD TO TAKE IT STILL AND THIS PROBLEM CAUSE THE OTHER DELIVERIES TO GET INFESTED ONCE THEY PUT IT ON THE TRUCK WITH THE OTHER FRIDGES AND STOVES AND THEY GET TENANTS APARTMENTS TO GET INFESTED.BUILDINGS OWN BY THE MORGAN GROUP AND CCN. PURCHASE FRIDGES AND STOVES FROM LAND APPLIANCE .THEY TAKE OLD FRIDGES AND REPAINT THEM N JUST SEND THEM BACK OUT ITS A DISGUSTING COMPANY STAY AWAY WARNING!!!! EMPLOYEES ONLY GET PAID 10.50 AN HOUR OR EITHER OF THE BOOKS STILL NOT ALL EMLOYEE ARE ON THE BOOKS NO SICK DAYS WHICH IS A NEWYORK STATE LAW!! NO PAID HOLIDAYS!! NO BENEFITS

My landlord uses the pathetic excuse for a company to service and replace the refrigerators in our building. They have a total lack of professionalism and no concept of courtesy for hard working peoples schedules. After telling me I would receive a replacement Fridge on Monday I had to call and get a time frame only to find out it would instead be Tuesday. Tuesday I call and am told the fridge would arrive between 2-5 pm. I left work early (sacrificing my pay!) to be home. 4 oclock nothing, I call and am told they are delayed but will be there by 5 pm for sure. 5, nothing, 530, nothing. Finally nothing at 545 I have to leave for school (which I was arriving late too after waiting for these buffoons). At 730 these pricks call me to open the door. I tell them Im not home but my wife can be there in 15 minutes. Nope, cant do it. They refused to wait 15 after making us wait 6 hours. "you will get it tomorrow" they say. Wednesday comes, now a week with no refrigerator, and I call to get a time frame and guess what? Delivery is actually scheduled for Thursday "nothing we can do about it says the most unsympathetic voice on the other line. Speak with manager and this jerk sounds like IM annoying HIM! If you are a property manger looking to subcontract a fridge place, please respect your tenants and avoid using this company.

Horrible customer service and professionalism. There employees seem uneducated and not certified. I wish this business would get checked by the Better Business Bureau. If i could give less than 1 star i would! Ive been without a refrigerator for 2 weeks now. My refrigerator kept shutting off after a few hours, my super installed a new surge protecting outlet so see if it was an electrical issue but the fridge kept going off so we left it unplugged to avoid any further damage. Land Appliances sent over a technician the next day. He barely spoke English, plugged it in and said it works because it turned on and wanted to leave in less than 2 minutes. I tried explaining to him that it turns off after a few hours and i cant have that happening when im at work because then i lose all my food. He did not understand me and argued with me in Spanish and then left and told land appliances everything was ok. They had to send 2 other technicians to look at the fridge, the same thing happened. They have wasted my time.
