I should have realized this was not going to be a great experience when after being there for a good 15 minutes, I had to go to the desk and see if anyone would be available to assist me at some point. The response made us feel like they were annoyed by us. Then we waited about 30 minutes (which would have been acceptable if they had approached us first). During our negotiations with the salesman, we heard the very rude manager yelling and cursing over a deal that didnt go their way, literally cursing about another customer right there for anyone to hear, so inappropriate. Our salesman seemed pretty uninterested in negotiating, though we did eventually come to an agreement, or at least I thought we did. He went to the (rude) manager and came back and said, sorry, we dont have the car that we were just talking about , the car that we had just negotiated over for the passed 30 minutes... We were pretty dumbfounded. The salesman was unapologetic and seemed to just want us gone. We got up and left I should have know not to go back to this sub par dealership after my last lease, where that salesman didnt offer to pay the last 2 months of my current lease at the time, which is apparently a very common practice, he said I should have made it part of my negotiation, true Im sure, but even this time the salesman said it right away, without my having to ask... Turns out it was a blessing in disguise because we went straight over to Hassett Ford in Wantagh and got a great deal. Better package, even more than I was hoping for, for less money, honestly!! The showroom blows Newins away and the staff is much more pleasant. Seriously, do yourself a favor and DO NOT go to Newins Ford. For what its worth, this is the first review Ive ever written, thats how annoyed (angry) I was!

Back in April I bought a truck from newins Bayshore Ford for the intent of using the vehicle for work. When I was at the sales desk and told me the only way the finance company which finance my vehicle was if I was to purchase a $2,500 warranty. I later find out from the finance company that was a lie. After registering it will work properly with the commercial plates a few months later the timing chain went which I thought was covered under warranty but apparently the warranty was voided with the commercial plates on the vehicle. Rather than when I initially brought my vehicle to the service department they kept the vehicle for 23 days without doing any work on it but taking it apart so I would HAVE TO pay them until peice for them to fix it. If I knew that would happen if of bright the vehicle elsewhere but because they kept it i had no choice and no vehicle to work in for almost a month. If I if I knew the warranty was voided by having the commercial plate on the vehicle I would have never left it with them. 23 days after I did leave it there I talked to the service manager Eric who was extremely rude to me and cursed me out. Now I am left with a vehicle that has an engine turned completely apart and they are ransoming me to use their shop or pay any way for them to take apart and put back together the engine. This is an unscrupulous business technique that needs to be reported to the attorney general of New York state as well as Suffolk County Consumer Affairs. News 12 will be contacted as well to do a story on how bad the service is newins Bayshore Ford. It is not like me to write one star reviews as I am a business owner myself what the hell but they put me through dupe me into paying triple and getting nothing for it prompted me to write this review

I worked with Eric Stickney and at first everything was great. He gave me a test drive of a car similar to what I wanted and showed me what I would pay and what all the fees were. It was clear and simple. I informed him that I will be looking around and speaking with other dealerships to get the best price. All dealerships seem to play a game where if a customer is targeting one certain car (by VIN), they will say they can get it for you. That sounds great till the the one dealership that has it on their lot gets a lot of phone calls about it. They then make it harder for the customer to actually get it. Eric informed me that they would need to make a swap with that dealership to get me the car. The only issue was, he gave up when he knew I was talking to other dealers. He said "you chose to go this route with all the other dealers pal, it stirs the pot". That is some customer service! I decided to purchase my car elsewhere after he ignored my email. Newins sales team should already understand that anyone purchasing a car will be asking around. No one should be treated poorly for that.

I want everyone to know about the experience I had today at Newins Bay Shore Ford, I went in for Service and met John Burns and Eric Koyler. They helped me pinpoint specifically what was going on with my Truck. They also signed me up for Newins Fords Reward program, which helps me get 10% back on every dollar I spend. They repaired my truck and even warranty all the parts they installed. They offered me a ride home, and even pick up later on. What a Great Department !! they got my 150 back on the road, and even gave me a FREE CAR WASH...... If your looking for a Ford, GO TO NEWINS !!! I stopped in while my truck was in Service to get some information on new F-150s. They appraised my truck for me while it was in the shop and even offered to cover any repairs if I bought a new truck. They change the stigma of Car Dealerships especially on Long Island. They play no games here, their team of product specialist told me everything about the latest vehicles and technology ford has to offer in the new 1/2 ton pick ups. Im buying my next truck here !!!! THANKS NEWINS !!!

I was going to wait one year before posting a review with my vehicle to see if it would encounter any problems. I walked into Newins on a tuesday to look at a 2011 Lincoln MKX SUV. Found it on Craigslist with incredibly low miles (2011 car in Nov. 2014) at just 15k. I was met by Tom Ciraco, a sales man who had been there many years. He showed me the vehicle and I fell in love with it instantly and knew it would be in my driveway. This was 9 moths ago and I have owned the car with no problems. they even honored an internet price discrepancy and were honest since it was a mistake and they did not want any buyer to think it was false advertising. Unfortunately, I do not still have the car as it was totaled three days ago, hence why I am writing my review three months earlier than I planned. I have already had my eye on Newins for my second car. Great experience all around. Highly recommended.
