Absolutely sickening, a crooked dealer and a shady operation. I only gave them one star because I couldnt post without a rating, and there isnt a Zero. From the ownership down, there is a total lack of professionalism and integrity (as was noted in a previous review). They talked us into an extended warranty on a used Honda, with the caveat that if we did not use it before it expired, we were eligible for a full refund of the $2300+ cost. After jumping through all of the hoops to get the refund, the dealer told us "Ive never heard of such a thing"!!! Yet, we have the original contract that EXPLICITLY STATES the whole process and promises. Now, the dealer is refusing to give us the refund we are owed, instead telling us he will give us $2000 off if we buy another car!! Are you kidding me??? Why on earth would ANYONE buy another car from these dishonest people just to get SCREWED again?? Well guess what Mr Freedom Nissan owner, i guess well just have to see you in court with our official warranty contract in hand, THAT WAS SIGNED BY YOUR REPRESENTATIVE. UPDATE 12/1/16 – one might notice that this dealership posted a response the day after I put up my one-star review. Notice also the words “I would like to remedy this issue for you”, “Please reach out to me at 802-846-3757”, and “Sincerely, Amber Kaplan, Owner Loyalty Manager at Freedom Nissan”. Well I did reach out to her. I called her the same day. Lo and behold, just like the false sentiment behind her response, the phone number was FAKE! Yes, that’s right…it was someone’s FAX number (call it yourself; you’ll get an earful of squealing like I did)! After calling the dealership directly and navigating through their excruciating phone system and directory, I finally reached Amber Kaplan (notice the last name, it’s the same as the president of Freedom Nissan…there’s a clue to the rest of this story). She pleasantly took my information and promised to call me back “within an hour”. Well guess what…after 8 days without a response I had to call her again and I left a message to call me. I did the same thing on days 9 and 10. Finally, today she called and basically said ”There is nothing we can do for you; it’s out of our hands”. And then had the audacity to say that THEY were in the same boat as WE are! Excuse me, YOU aren’t out $2,250, WE ARE. Well I beg to disagree with that response. There IS something they can do, but they just WON’T because of greed and indifference to their customers needs. Dont tell me that a car dealership cant afford $2250, they made much more than that on the original $30K sale (plus the $2250 warranty). And I wrote the check out to Freedom Nissan, not a third party. But once you have signed those papers, you are on your own. Caveat Emptor.

Unbelievable experience. Thank You Freedom Nissan! I took my car to Freedom Nissan for my summer winter tire swap. It was serviced and washed before I expected. I was nearly back to work before I realized my tire pressure warning light was on. When I checked the numbers they ranged from 29 to 39, every tire was different. I called the service department, who were very courteous and professional, and told them how disappointed I was. The next thing I knew the owner, Mort was on the phone, very apologetic for my poor service experience. I said it was not a big deal, we have a tire pressure gauge and a compressor and would remedy the problem. Mort was very insistent that they would fix the issue. The car would be picked up, they would get to the root of this problem and I would get to know what the resolution was.. Within the hour the car was picked up and a (really nice) loner car provided. I had a second call from Mort, within a few hours. He again apologized for my service experience and went on to let me know what they had found. It turned out that the tire pressure sensors on the car were corroded, not uncommon on a car with 99K miles. He was concerned that his service people had not flagged that as an issue. They should, in his opinion have talked to me about having them replaced while I had the car in for service. The parts to fix would run $300. Mort orchestrated having the sensors replaced, at no cost to me. I am truly floored by this experience and the Freedom Nissan commitment to customer satisfaction. I believe they went way above and beyond any possible expectation. I have been taking my car to Freedom Nissan for service for years and will certainly continue to do so. Again Thank You Freedom Nissan! Once again, KUDOS to the Nissan Service Team. Everytime I bring my car in for service I am genuinely amazed at the outstanding customer service. From Dave, who drive the courtesy shuttle, and Nya, the outstanding service advisor, to the team of maintenance personnel, every detail is seamless and professional. I have been bringing my car to Freedom Nissan for service for many years and will continue to do so. Thanks Freedom Nissan!

I have to say after reading the reviews for this dealer I was skeptical of going there to look for a new vehicle. My purchasing experience was far different from most of the reviews I read on Google. My wife and I recently leased a 2012 Nissan Rogue SV from Freedom Nissan. I had e-mail correspondence with Steve and found him to be attentive and listened to what my wife and I were looking for. We were unable to meet with Steve, but did meet with Pat a few days later. Unlike the dealer at Della Honda in Plattsburgh, When we arrived, Pat listened to what we were looking to make for payments and TOOK NOTES on the features we wanted in a car. I went in thinking we would be getting a used 2008 Rogue that I was only a little thrilled about, but thought it was the only thing we could afford. After listening to our financial concerns and our wants, we test drove a 2012 Rogue S with the SE package. Pat did not ride along while my wife and I test drove the car, which allowed us the freedom to fully explore the vehicle as long as we wanted without interruption. Pat was not at all forceful like many salespersons Ive dealt with in the past, and did not try to sell us on additional features that we did not need or want. When we returned, we began looking at options for financing etc. Pat was able to get us into the next model up from what we test drove (Rogue SV) at the same payment we were looking to make. We ended up going with the lease option, which was agreeable. Pat was also very informed on the details of the lease, and was very open and informative about answering our questions. He did not just tell us what we wanted to hear like other dealers we met with even if it involved saying NO. We havent had to service the Rogue yet, but thus far our experience has been stellar!!! I would definitely recommend this dealer and Pat for purchasing of a new vehicle. Ill update this review after our first few service appointments. I should also mention that through my employer I am able to get preferred pricing with Nissan, which did bring down our monthly payment and overall cost of the lease.
