My wife told me to avoid this place but stupid me said, whats the problem, its the closest UPS store and Im just sending a package. I had measured and weighed it in advance so I knew they wouldnt rip me off. My package contained a couple of pieces of vintage stereo equipment each roughly the size of a large cable box. Each piece was swaddled in a couple of inches of the best bubble wrap, with an extra inch of the stuff around each of the corners, all inside a sturdy cardboard box, packed inside an even more bomb-proof Amazon Prime box. I dropped it off at about 3:20 PM with a female employee (or co-owner?) who was standing five feet away from the nasty male owner, who observed the transaction and told her how to enter the $300 in insurance I requested. Paid cash, left the store, drove home. Then at 4:45 PM the idiot called my cell phone and started quizzing me about what was in the package. I told him old stereo equipment, about the size of two large cable boxes, etc. He was very rude and said "you have to come back." WTF? "I dont think you packed it well. I have to open it." I told him Ive been shipping electronics for 15 years and I know how to pack, I used plenty of bubble wrap, and youre not opening my box. Then he babbled something about "UPS regulations" and said it was "his judgment" that the box had to be opened. I guess he thought I was running some kind of insurance scam to get the $300?? Who knows, but if you have a question or concern, talk to me when Im in the store at 3:20. Dont call me an hour and a half later to order me to "come back." I just happened to be home this afternoon, which is why I had time to drop off the package, but like most people I have a job and a life and I dont generally just hang out waiting to be summoned back to a UPS store because it took the nasty owner an hour and a half to worry about my packaging. P.S. I got out of there with my package and refund at 4:55, just in time to drop it off at the U.S. Post Office virtually next door. Insured for $300, no problem, will arrive in three days. About $6.00 more than UPS but worth every penny. EDIT: I just emptied my pocket and he even shorted me a dime on my refund. For real.

Worst service ever!!! I contacted this store because I lost my receipt. These people would not look up my transaction. Finally I got the tracking number on my own called back and the guy would not track my package! I manage a UPS store myself, and for this man to tell me oh my tracking number isnt a tracking number at all is really sad. He wouldnt even attempt to type it in I got to the fourth number before he was like oh no thats not a tracking number. Told me oh, well if I have the number why cant I just do it myself! Thats not the point Im asking for your help my package was shipped from your store two days ago and theres no info on it online at all! From what I heard from another UPS store in the area they do this to a lot of their customers!! Very frustrating you should not be a business owner! You are setting a horrible reputation for UPS!! Sincerely a Manager of a UPS store in Texas!

Unfortunately, this is the closest UPS location to my home, so I have had two bad experiences here. The first involved a gratuitous overcharging for standard shipping which was quoted at $70 , I later went to the UPS store on Central which charged me $20 to ship the same package. In the second incident, the owner refused to accept a UPS delivery on my behalf, and when I went to pick it up he was extremely hostile. It turns out he refused to accept delivery and sent the truck away. Thankfully I got in touch with customer service and the wonderful UPS truck driver actually drove his truck back to get the delivery to me, apparently the owner was extremely rude to the driver as well. Otherwise I would have been charged a separate fee. Please avoid this store and instead spend your money at one of the many more deserving small businesses elsewhere.

The owner is the nastiest human being I have encountered. He lacks common courtesy and isnt helpful at all. Not sure why anyone would want to give him any business. Went there to drop of a amazon return package, he just threw the receipt on the table and walked away. Asked him if there was a trash can, he got annoyed. Seriously?? You have an issue when people use the trash can in your store? NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN.

Im not sure why all the bad reviews. I have been coming to this UPS store for more than ten years. The owner is helpful, knowledgeable and willing to spend his time helping me to find the best possible way to send my packages, especially to my family who live outside of New York. I would never go anywhere else and always come to this store when I have to send any package. Ive always had excellent and courteous service.

Owner is an @$$&07#. He refused to explain why the online estimate was different then his much higher price. Then he proceeded to kick my package towards me while telling me to leave. A simple explanation of the pricing would have sufficed. Do not use this store!!!! UPS need to investigate this owner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The owner of the store, Mr. Lee, is mean and nasty. I called UPS customer service, and theres nothing they can do because he owns the store. Dont give this man business!! He needs to learn manners and customer service; theres got to be other business people in the area who deserve good customers. Mr. Lee does not.

Terrible customer service. I understand that this is not a pick up depot, but he didnt have to be rude. Then hoping that I could drop off a package here that UPS was suppose to pick up at my apartment, he was rude again. WHAT DOES THIS STORE EVEN DO? Not pick up and drop off for UPS

I walked out of here completely upset. The man (owner, I assume) was terribly rude bad bad energy. I had to control myself becasue I was with my daughter. I will never again step foot in the place and will drive out of my way to avoid having to come here ever again. Yes, that bad.

Unbelievably poor. Have dealt with the owner three times and its hard to imagine someone less qualified to speak to customers. He has a foul personality and I will happily drive further to deal with someone else. anyone else.

I wondered why this place had two stars. Surely it couldnt be as bad as the reviews were suggesting. Then I realized two stars is being generous. Staff took my package then threw it over the counter onto a pile of packages.

owner is a really nasty guy. maybe the worst ups store i have ever been in. my advice is go somewhere else. i was worried this guy might even damage my package after leaving it there.

I was just overcharged over 100 dollars using his "faulty" math and calculations. He overcharges for shipping and im currently contesting his prices with UPS management.
