I do enjoy going to Jo-Ann pretty much any time Im near one. I would normally give any Jo-Ann 5 stars as they always have something that you would want if youre into fabric, quiliting, and crafting. The reason this one gets a 4 star rating is its size. The next closest Jo-Ann store to this one are in Albany and New Hartford. Both are probably twice the size of this one and therefore have a better selection of pretty much everything. But the staff here is always friendly and helpful when you need them. If you need fabric and are in Amsterdam, this is the place to go.

They do have a large selection of a lot of things. But Ive been in there 4 times in the last couple months and its been the same story Everytime. I either dont get helped while every single women who walks in does or when I can get help all I get is quick nos to every question. Even when I know for a fact they have it

Love the employees! Store is GREAT! My ONLY big issue is IF you forget your coupon, then youre sol! They Wont give you a coupon of any sort. Sometimes Ive forgotten mine and I opted to NOT shop there that day! THEY LOSE! What can I say???

This is the store that corporate forgot. The store may be small, but they have a pretty decent selection of goods overall. Staff was friendly too.
