I have been to, Two other quilt shops, one in albany, one in esperance, Today I was at Joyful Quilter. The one in albany Flying Geese the employees are not friendly at all and certainly arent overly helpful. The one in Esperance was nice friendly although quite a distance for me.. Now for the Joyful Quilter. The staff was very friendly and helpful how refreshing. I could not have asked for more. right away there were hellos and when I called earlier in the day one of the ladies I spoke with recongised me when I went in and right away she was there to help with picking fabric and such discussing my projects and helping with all of my quilting needs!! there were plenty of friendly faces and smiles. I will now stop going to other places to continue supporting the Joyful Quilter

The Joyful Quilter is everything I need as a quilter. Top quality fabrics, the latest patterns, on site machine quilting, sewing machines and cabinets, sewing notions and threads. They have classes for all skill levels and an on site quilting room. There is a high turn over of fabrics so theres always new inspiration. They carry baby quilt fabrics which many stores do not. There is always seasonal fabrics too. They even have quilt shows displaying the finest of craftsmanship.Most of all I have enjoyed working with their experience staff. I am a local art teacher and I feel every lucky to have this store in my own area.

As a new quilter I need all the help I can get. The staff is very helpful with selecting fabric. The new store is beautiful however, I think they need to increase the fabric selection to fit their new home. I would highly recommend the Joyful Quilter.

Every time I have stopped in at the Joyful Quilter the staff has been very helpful and I have found the fabric I have been looking for. I agree with MissSandras comments. But would also continue to go to Gloversville Sewing Center.

It I could give it 10 stars I would!!! Everyone is so nice and helpful and its such a fun quilting environment!! I got two embroidery buddies and I love them!!! Best quilt shop around!!!

Susan and her staff are very helpful in choosing fabrics and knowledgeable about all quilting and sewing projects. Wonderful classes and instructors with 2 onsite classrooms.
