I sent a newly built computer to my nephew for his birthday. UPS apparently decided that tossing the box around was a good idea, breaking a hard drive mount and dislodging the CPU from the socket, fan and all. So, I had the pleasure of dealing with Edgar Digital from 1500 miles away. From the start, they gave me confidence. They straightened the pins on the CPU (no small feat), discovered the rolling CPU/fan bowling ball had killed the motherboard and compromised either the power supply or graphics card. Unfortunately, my nephew decided to move from the area before the job of troubleshooting and repair was complete, but he received the system back with a lot of damage fixed and only one more problem remaining to be found. The kicker is they did this for under $250, including the cost of the motherboard (which they sold me at their cost). When we got it back up and running after his move (video card was the remaining issue), they even had configured the BIOS to the settings I told them I used when I built the rig. Hes now in the Dallas area, with the computer running like it was before UPS provided their fine service. This entire nightmare was made much easier and at a lot less of a cost than I would have thought thanks to Edgar Digital. If you need computer work in the Las Cruces area, do yourself a favor and call these guys.

Very, very happy. I walked in with a dead Mac (coffee), very worried Id lose pix, files, spreadsheets, etc., and asked if I could actually watch the technician repair my machine. I know they dont do this as a regular thing, but they let me. (Whew!!) The fellow who did the work knew exactly what he was doing. Turned out the keyboard had to be replaced, and I was able to take my computer home with me while I waited for the new one. It was all absolutely straightforward and sensible -- no snowing, no not knowing what to do, no reasons for charging more. The final bill was very, very reasonable. I was thrilled, basically, and am thinking of other things I would have done / might do if I knew a place I could trust, because now I feel I do.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! Worst mistake I have ever made! I took my computer in to get the mouse pad fixed. The wiped my computer because they thought it was a virus, but it wasnt. All they needed to do was replace the mouse. I told them to save my music and pictures, and nothing was there. 10 days worth of music turned into 4 songs, 100s of pictures turned into 15. No documents saved at all. Even applications like photo booth that came with my computer were gone, and java was messed up. It took forever and I had to pay over 200 dollars. Do not go here

A really good computer place. Very professional and extremely knowledgeable and capable. They helped us out with a real pain computer problem. Service was expedient and tailored to our need and budget. Really, this is the best place in town; moreover, they have been in Las Cruces for more than 15+ years. Forget the rest of the shysters in town, you need your computer(mac or pc)fixed, take it here, if you need computer parts or refurbished laptops or desktops, go there. Really good people, great service, fantastic results.

Ive taken my laptop to these guys a couple times, once for a new screen and once to fix my power jack. Both the fixes have been great, and everyone working there has been very nice and friendly (they even have an office cat sometimes!). The cost has always been affordable as well (coming from a college student), and for the power jack fix, they even did a makeshift fix so I could use it while they waited for the part to come in, and they didnt charge me any extra! Theyre now my first choice for repairs.

Ive been doing business with Roger and his staff for many years. For someone in the IT industry, his shop is a local "disney land" for geeks/nerds. Odds are, if it is something odd, obscure or a hard to find part, you have a very good chance of finding it local (thus supporting a locally owned small business) rather than paying someone on Ebay etc plus shipping.

Service was prompt and certainly at a good price. Best Buy geeks are way over priced for doing the same type of work. In fact their pricing (for identical job) was in excess of %800 yes 800 percent higher than Edgar Digital.
