Went in to purchase 6 balloons for a childs birthday. I stood there next to the young fellow at the cashier, he saw me and I motioned I needed balloons, I did not expect him to get them as I saw two girls walking around that could have helped me. .....but I thought he would have said to the girls someone needs balloons. duh, guess not. I kept standing in front of the balloons, and after staring at the young girl, she finally came over and said "how many do you want"? I said 6 and she said "which ones", NEVER SO MUCH AS CRACKED A SMILE. When I mentioned the number she said " no dont have it," I mentioned another she said "no", I said a third number and she said "no the 4th was a no also, .....so I got three of the same balloons. ! ! ! ! ! I will continue to go to the dollar store a mile away in Lincoln Park, thank you, ...........Oh and who does your human resource, who interviews these people for jobs. I know a lot of young kids that would love those jobs and assist the customer with a smile and some manners. We my family and friends will be avoiding "Dollar Tree" from now on.

Typical dollar store place. Great place for thrifty and bargain shoppers to buy staple items and one offs seasonal items and not pay an arm and a leg for it.

I was surprised at some things they manage to sell for only a dollar. Headphones, batteries, holiday decorations, plasticware, etc. They have a website.

I used to go in Dollar Tree everyday when Bill was the manager now I dont even go in there once a month sorry
