When this store first opened years ago, staff were available and knew their stuff. Products that home-owners needed were well-stocked, well-organized and well-marked. Now, I dread going to this place--its hard to find any help for long periods of time, and even harder to get information that helps me. The inventory is often pathetic...how many times have I gone to get, say, two knobs for a drawer, but they only have one in the store...Im told its out-of-stock" or "Hmmm, maybe its discontinued" or "Hmmm, maybe its available at another store", or "Hmmm, maybe they moved it to in an isle on the other side of the giant warehouse shell"...If this happened once in a blue-moon thats one thing--its happened to me a lot....The store also isnt well-lit and clean compared to Lowes or even other HD stores Ive visited...Perhaps the store is better-suited for home repair or construction contractors/trades-people? I need a window screen repaired. Haha. I need help choosing one of thirty-seven different brands and types of wood glue? ...should have brought my iPad to google for half-an-hour...The Information Desk seems to be only for professionals/bulk purchases...Most of the employees seem like they would be happier elsewhere...Some seem genuinely interested in helping, but management works against them or they are just in over their heads. Often, staff seem clueless in the merchandise and/or customer-service professionalism...One evening I ran to the store to get a replacement light-bulb for my desk lamp, and as I approached the lighting area, a frustrated-looking employee stomped passed me saying to himself "man, I HATE working here..."...And hes being paid to be there...Bottom-Line, I will either go a longer distance to Lowes in Union or the Home Depot on RT 10. Maybe the regional accountant for HD is happy, but I havent met anyone else who is. It seems a management problem, perhaps at the regional level? I guess they make their numbers well-enough with people other than home-owners in need of assistance.

I had a bad experience that will likely influence any future recommendations. I went to buy a dryer, The delivery guy comes, says it doesnt fit. Now, the delivery company is saying I refused delivery. I went to Home Depot, I paid cash, and now I have to wait 3 days until home depot decides its ok to give my money back. The problem here is youre buying an appliance from home depot, but the delivery is 3rd party, so what happens is, if anything goes wrong home depot just points the finger at you. I had a 20 minute argument with the appliance lady because she kept discussing fault and measurements, with complete disregard that Ive been waiting 15 days for a dryer delivery and now 3 more days to get my money back. The idea is that you should buy an appliance from someplace that takes responsibility for the sale and delivery. I was not offered anything at all in terms of replacement, I was told over and over again about the door measurements, and how I should come back in a few weeks when theres a better sale. I felt accosted and blamed. I am not a delivery person, neither is the sales person, none of us know why the delivery guy wouldnt even take a second look. So now youre stuck dealing with two different companies for one simple thing. I bought something, had a problem, no one could help, I have no idea when Ill get a new dryer. Sad customer service. Save yourself a load of time, money and trouble. ******Buy an appliance from an appliance store.******

On Sunday, October 26th...I went to this location to buy contractor bags but as usual I like to roam the store to get home ideas. I went to check out as I approached the counter one of the sales people was friendly but this other young lady wasnt that pleasant as I was given my change and receipt I asked her for the sales flyer. She said she didnt know where it was..so I went to the self checkout and asked another sales person she sent me to customer service. I stood at customer service and waited for the two ladies to finish their conversation but it seems it didnt matter that I was waiting so I just interrupted and asked for the sales flyer. They stated the store didnt have any. REALLY!!! Did someone fail to tell the employees so customers wouldnt have to walk to three associates to be told a high volume store doesnt a store sales flyer on Sunday Morning. I love shopping at this store for convenience but customer service is HORRIBLE!

We purchased a washer last Sunday to be deliver today to removed the old one and install the new one The delivery people didnt like our valve and claim was rusted and leaking! So they can not install it, argued we didnt have the hose which is to be inside the new washer! Let me warned you about this people that do not work for Home Depot but we got the washer in Home Depot and NO ONE TAKES RESPOMSABILITY! First this men almost stole my phone that I had put down next to the washer If I had not walk at the right time he will have stolled! They just didnt want to take the old washer out! Stay away from home Depot terrible customer service around !!! We are canceling this order! PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT!

As much as I try to shop local businesses rather than shopping online. Special orders at this Home Depot are the worst ever. I ordered 2 doors and was told 2-3 weeks, I called 3 weeks later and they had not tracking info at all, the only info they had is that the doors were ordered thats it. I called 4 weeks later and was told the "doors should be here tomorrow" no tracking info at all just a short answer, ridiculous. Screw this store, next time I will order from online distributors, they get me my materials in 3-7 days.

Customer service is useless. They are supposed to help and serve the people who need it while they dont even know where flooring is. How the hell is that going on I help me find flooring when they cant even direct me to where it is. They called a person from the flooring department and they didnt even show up. So either the need to get their act together or just close up shop and let a better company who knows what their doing come in. Maybe Lowes should give them some tips and take over.

Suck they always have does people harnessing you with selling you solar panels or central air conditioners or heating system. Then later they send you subcontractors to give you and estyme and want to rip you of. Example I had a small hole in my sliding wall and they send me some American contractor company the wanted $10,000 dollars for doing the hole wall instead then just the small hole. I did my self for less the 10 dollars in half hour. Please.

Store is total piece of crap. There are employees standing around doing nothing and only one register open. Random crap all over the aisles no one seems to care. An employee called for another employee to help at the pro desk for 20 mins straight. Totally unorganized and not worth the trip, I highly recommend going someplace else. I personally will never come back here, even if my life somehow depended on it.
