June 1, 2014-I would describe our experience with PC Richard & Son as rating up there with the best possible. Our salesman Bobby Gilmore was fantastic and took so much care and time to help us pick the best TV and home theatre system along with the excellent 5 year extended service plan. But where he and the general manager Curtis really helped was in the few days after the install where we had an issue with the Bose sound system not working where Bobby went far above and beyond the call of duty trouble shooting on the phone and then we had to return parts and this culminated in him coming to our house on Saturday-two days after the install after having spent probably most of the day testing our products and then finding a loose cable-it was outstanding customer service and many thanks to Curtis for sparing Bobby and allowing him to leave the store!....for what should have been done correctly by the installers.Unfortunately for them since I was not able due to my work from home..watch their/2 guys every move Bobby actually found an electrical cord from the Bose that was not even connected to an outlet...after causing me hours on the phone Friday and taking the better part of Saturday driving back and forth to the store to have parts tested THIS WAS A HUGELY UNPROFESSIONAL THING THE INSTALLERS DID THAT HAD ME RIGHT ON THE VERGE OF CANCELLING THE SALE...but due to Bobbys patience and pride in his work and devotion to his customers HE found the problem that should never have been! I think Bobby should get a promotion and Curtis too for their going far beyond the extra mile for our family. We plan on purchasing PCs and other applicances there ASAP-they truly exemplify the PC Richard & Son family guarantee!!!

After going to three other big name stores I finally was able to get what I needed at PC Richard . First I have to say that I needed a gas washer and dryer and couldnt believe how incompetent the staff was at a few other stores in the Rockaway area. With that being said I walked into PC Richard on the advice of a friend because I never thought to buy home appliances at PC Richard (Silly me thought it was only an electronic store). As a new homeowner I have absolutely no idea what Im looking for and this was a chore that my wife threw on my lap last minute. I wound up in the washer and dryer section and was being helped by a man named Rich (Pretty sure he was the store manager but I forget). He was extremely knowledgeable and made some great recommendations that if he hadnt I would have gone home with the wrong washer and dryer for my family . I did wind up choosing the washer and dryer that he recommended which I am glad he did because my wife and I absolutely love it And most importantly it has the features we needed. I want to stress that he was not pushy at all and other stores should learn from the staff at PC Richard because there is nothing worse than being pressured into buying something . Check out was easy and all of the warrantees and delivery processes were explained which was helpful because it put my mind at ease . I feel silly that I didnt realize that I can do all of my shopping for my home needs at PC Richards so I will be returning to buy my refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and home entertainment system as soon as I can. Thanks again to the staff at PC Richard especially Rich and the stores no pressure policy... you guys are the real MVP.

My family has been shopping at PC Richard and Son stores for multiple generations, starting with the first stores in the boroughs. I have lived in New York City for all my life but I recently moved out to this area (the neighborhoods are just so cute <3), near the Rockaway mall. I recently found that my old television was in the fritz and I needed a new one. But I hadnt know that PC Richard and Sons had a store in this area so I went to the Best Buy, and I was appalled. I was ready to break down and cry because the layout was so convoluted and the prices were astronomically high. On the verge of tears I begged the man at that front security desk to tell me of the nearest location. My ears rang with joy to know that there was one conviently located in Ledgewood! So I sped over there (not too fast because my 3 cylinder Geo Metro isnt known for speed ;) ) and was overjoyed. I walked into the store and the service from the get go was phenomenal, it felt just like home. From the sales people all the way to the young man who brought the tv to my car. I shed a few tears of joy on my drive home knowing that I can still find a great deal at my favorite local electronic store. This store deserves nothing less than 5 stars maybe even more! (i wish!!!!) I plan on returning every time I need help finding appliances at the best prices with the best service :)

Went into the store to just "browse", as I was not sure if I wanted to make a purchase at this time, but had been pricing around. I was immediately greeted at the door upon my entry and asked if I needed any assistance. I did, at first, say that I was just browsing. I went back to the washer and dryers and looked around. When I had questions, the sales person was there to answer all my questions and was quite courteous and seemed quite knowledgeable in regards to the products you carry. I ended up purchasing a front load washer and dryer...and as good a sales person he was he managed to sell me a flat screen as well. I feel I got a great deal on all of my items, along with extended warranties. I love my purchases and will definately be doing business with your company again in the near futre. My mother is also looking for a washer/dryer and I told her to be sure to come to you. I would highly recommend you and will be sure to make sure my family, friends and co-workers are aware of the top knotch service I received. Its not often that sales people actually act like they care about their jobs and what they are doing. Thank you!!

I had an excellent salesman and was very happy with my experience at P.C. Richards. I dealt with Roman. He was professional, attentive and courteous. Equally important to me was that he was very knowledgeable about the merchandise I was purchasing and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I purchased a washer and dryer, 2 air conditioners, an extended warranty and a number of smaller items. I was surprised and pleased that on his own he even went over the receipt with me so that I would understand quickly what all of the items on it were. They had all of the items I needed in stock and the delivery was scheduled for only a few days later which was great since my washing machine had died and I needed a replacement quickly. They also have a 30 day guarantee if their price drops lower or you see the product cheaper at another store. I would definitely recommend buying from P.C. Richards and Roman.
