I had an appointment on Wednesday, July 6th 2016. All the tests and examinations were done perfectly fine except that I was not given any information about my vision. I had to ask if my vision is fine and if there is anything to worry about. My eyes were dialated for near vision examination and I was not informed prior or later about the after effects and it was hard for me to drive. Fortunately, I was not alone. The effect was until 3 days and I understand it varies from person to person. I was recommended relaxing eye glasses to wear and I neither got the prescription for glasses nor my examination report. Looked like they wanted me to buy the glasses from them. When I asked, they said they have all my information and can get back to them anytime to buy the glasses. I would recommend to go here for people who are aware of what questions to ask. For people who are completely new or have no information about what to ask and expect I would definitely not recommend to visit.

These people are one of the nicest and most amazing people Ive ever had the pleasure of visiting. From the time you walk in the smiles and warmly greeting just makes you feel super welcome. While i was going through a routine checkup the lady that helped me actually had a conversation with me, like she cared about what we were talking about and this is the first time weve ever seen. She was very patient with me and helped me pick my glasses frames, even though I took like an hour trying to decide which one I wanted to wear. The doctor remembered my sister, so she asked me about my parents (My sister had told her about them) This is the perfect example of individuals not just doing their job, but loving it and that showing and transforming in the way they interact with people that come into the practice. All in all everyone in there was super nice and helpful

Dr. Josephine Ngong-Tawe is a very conscientious doctor who doesn’t cut corners. She exams you thoroughly and explains every step of what she does. She is courteous and treats you as an individual not just a patient. Her office staff is very welcoming and willing to help with any questions and helps guide you to make the right decision you want to make e.g. in selecting glasses. I like the overall office environment. It is clean, roomy and she has the latest equipment. My family and I have had only the best treatment from Franklin Family Eyecare and will return there anyday in a heart beat.

I absolutely love Franklin Family Eyecare. They are personable, effective and ALWAYS provide the best of service. Dr. Josephine Ngong-Tawe is so very thorough and professional and has the best "bedside manner". She explains not only the status of my vision but also provided me with extensive examples of the results if I neglected my health (diabetes). There is a vast selection of eye glassware. And very reasonably priced. Having late evening hours is a blessing to me as I work in NYC and cannot always take time during day time hours to make an appointment.

Franklin Family Eye Care is the best optometry office Ive been to. The staff are friendly, helpful. You feel that they care about you. They take the time to explain things. Its a family environment, and very professional. The office is clean. The optometrist is skilled and intelligent, not stuffy or "doctor-ish." My family and I are grateful for their service and the cool glasses I have because of it.
