i purchased a 2008 passat vr6 wagon through them back in the middle of october. i have ALWAYS cringed when it comes to car dealers (especially after the experience we had with a heavy hitting dealership in north nj a few months prior for my wife). we are a younger couple so we usually do not get treated with much respect when car shopping, however these guys were way different. i really hope that Frank and Ben are still around when i need a new car, because this is the ONLY dealer ive found that im thoroughly pleased with. both Frank and Ben were super nice, very respectful, and honest. if a deal didnt work out, theyd tell you right then and there. no going through a middle man, none of that ill call you bullshit. the car was in as stated condition and i have had zero problems with it (this really doesnt have much to do with the dealer since all of this boils down to the previous owners). after i had purchased the car, i was on a temp tag until november 7th. as we all know, hurricane sandy really screwed everything up; power was lost throughout the area where they are located. i called Frank up on the 4th expressing my concern that i will need a new temp tag. he said hed do whatever it would take to get me a new temp tag and gave me his personal cell phone number just before our conversation ended in case i needed to get in touch with him at any hour. the next day, he calls me with the news of having a new temp tag (even though their building still was without power). a couple weeks later i received the proper registration. these guys are TOP NOTCH. they will also try to find any car youre looking for and their customer service is head and shoulders above any other dealership ive dealt with. i wish i would have known about them before purchasing my wifes car!

Bad Service
At first, dealing with them was pretty decent. Made a deal over the phone which they pretty much kept. But after I purchased the vehicle like right after I left the dealership, I was on my way home and the front end on the vehicle shook so hard after I hit a bump I almost hit a Semi. I pulled over and parked it and applied the e brake. I spoke to the dealer and told them what happened and said I wanted my truck back he offered me 1500 to keep this truck. I said no and went and returned it. However he already flipped the title and the truck was no longer in my name. Most dealers do not do that in case of a situation just like this. So on my way home he called me and said if he had the front end fixed would I still take it. And he said he would also meet me half way to my home and I would get a $1000 dollar adjustment. Now mind you he offered me $1500 after I called him when the truck almost killed me. Oh and the e brake locked up and still is not fixed to this day. So anyway he had the front end fixed and it cost him 570 dollars. We agreed on a time to meet and the next day I was on my way. Im already well on my way and he decides he does not want to meet halfway and that after the front end work he wouldnt do the 1000 dollar adjustment. Just 100 extra dollars. He said take it or basically wouldnt return my title. Well I got a decent amount of cash back as it was and I have bills to pay so I took the truck. But I just want to tell everyone here to be weary of them.

Honest dealership. I was looking for a used Toyota FJ Cruiser; found one online that was listed there. Frank, the owner, told me over the phone that it needed brakes, and some of the history of the vehicle. I went and looked it over top to bottom; it was in good shape for the age (2007) and mileage (130,000+). Ben the salesman told me about a couple of other things it might need. I took it for a looooooooong test drive to check it out. It was solid and good to go - as Frank and Ben said (other than brakes which they had told me about, and a couple of minor things - which is to be expected). I told Ben that I dont like to haggle and was not into games (in general; not just with them), so just give me their best price; he did. I had done a lot of research(*) on these vehicles and the price quoted was fair. So.... SOLD! Drove it home that day. No regrets. Easy, no hassle, buying experience. Dealership is recommended. Would buy from them again. Recommended. (*) if you are going to buy a used vehicle from any Used Car Dealership (or a New Car Dealership) you need to do your research ahead of time (regarding price, features, etc.). You need to check the vehicle out yourself, or have it checked out by a professional, as such vehicles are usually sold as is (and that is normal).

I bought a used car from this company that had a carefully disguised front-end collision and required about $1000 of immediate repairs to a damaged air conditioning system. The problem is that the car was presented to me as being of "exceptional condition and quality" and "totally clean and accident-free". The company sells its cars through middlemen such as Fred Ritorto who operates as a "auto consultant". Mr. Ritorto is extremely smooth and convincing. As a customer, one never gets to see Ringoes Motor Car and Truck company till the point when the sales contract is presented. I paid good money for an accident-damaged car - and had to deal with the repair of the AC system on top. I am concerned that Fred Ritorto and this company could be involved in multiple cases of buying cheap accident-damaged cars in auctions, repairing them, and selling them at a premium price as "clean vehicles of exceptional value". When dealing with this company or Fred Ritorto, I recommend extreme caution.

I purchased an SUV last Friday 6/12/2015. Great car buying experience with Frank and Ben. They were reasonable in negotiating a selling price with me especially since I did my research on the vehicle. I would definitely buy a car from them in the future and recommend family and friends that are looking. Although, I would have purchased a warranty package from any place I bought the SUV I selected, the one I purchased was in great condition and gave me peace of mind for driving it 3 hours away.

We found a gorgeous 2011 Mercedes online from Ringoes and we made a deal over the phone and went and picked up the car the following weekend. The car was everything they said it would be! It was perfect. Ben was amazing and worked with us through the process being that we were from New York and coming to Jersey. Great customer service and definitely a great deal on the car.

Over the past 5 years, I have purchased several vehicles from Ringoes. Each and every purchase was a very pleasant experience and I still own each of these cars, including a Jeep, Toyota and Mercedes Benz. I have recommended Frank at Ringoes to my friends and family and would not hesitate to do it again. Excellent people that handle great vehicles.
