Clean store and nice staff. So why the one star? Well my first and now last experience there was for the launch of Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D for the Nintendo 3DS. I went directly to the Electronics department upon opening and NO associates or managers around the area to help customers. Finally I got the attention of an associate working in an adjoining department and she called, I guess, a surpervisor for the area who wasnt able to help, but called management because she kew her associates were going to be late? After half an hour of waiting a manger shows up (yes took that long during OPENING HOUR) and calls a different supervisor to help us (another customer came in for the same reason) from another area who of course knew nothing about the game. After waiting another 15 minutes for him to look in the back room I walked around surveying the department only to find TWO electronics associates standing around behind the counter... the other supervisor comes back saying their system shows 15 in stock but does not know where they are. Which then prompts one of the associates behind the counter to say they found one behind the counter... Kind of convenient dont you think a high demand new release shows 15 in stock, but the associates standing around somehow knew there was only one behind the counter? I let them sell it to the other customer and walk to customer service which could not get a hold of a manager that I could complain to...

Today we purchased a TV stand from this store and the associates could not have been more helpful. There was nobody in the furniture section when we first arrived, but we walked to guest services and they had someone meet us. A nice girl named Alyssa found all the information that we needed, but the boxed item was not in stock. She said we could order online and get 10% off and free shipping with a red card. Being that we were not red card customers, shipping was going to be $30. She kindly offered to sell us the display model. Another employee, Alex, came to help us transport the item out of the store and because the register lines were long he opened up a register just for us. The young man at guest services (didnt get his name) came over to make sure everything went well with our process in the furniture department. He asked if we received a discount but we didnt because unfortunately the 10% off was only good online. He went a step further and gave us 15% off since it was a display model. These employees are all superstars! Cant say enough good things about the help we received at this store today. I hope Target reads these reviews and gives these associates the pat on the back they deserve.

What an awful bunch of employees at this store. Called for an item, Employee assured me it was in stock. Gave him my name and he said he would hold it. I told him I was coming from a hour away to buy it and he said no problem, I wont sell it. Well guess what, I get there and employee starts scanning the shelf acting all confused. He says it must have been sold. It was the same guy I spoke to on the phone! He then admitted selling it to someone else! When I told him I just drove an hour he couldnt care less. Other employees didnt really seem to care that they just wasted 2 hours of my time! Seriously? Hope the employee gets fired!

Its only a few miles from the Wal-Mart in North Brunswick - but it might as well be on a different planet! This Target is clean, neat, and uncluttered. Its almost as if the shopper has entered a Zone of Zen, with calming Muzak. Wal-Mart: a summer road-trip in a dangerously overcrowded, non-air-conditioned bus full of people of questionable hygiene and screaming babies. Target: a Concorde transatlantic trip. Yes, at Target, one may pay an extra nickel for that Three Stooges Chia Pet, but its worth it!

Target has been a favorite of mine--when I lived in Colorado, and most recently in New Jersey. Unfortunately, since the food section has been brought in there is marked deterioration. The retail staff are FAR less helpful, and can be surly. Target is near my home, but I plan to avoid it whenever possible--which will be most of the time! Spread the word. This store has become atrocious!

Overall a nice Target store. The selection and variations sometimes surprise me, and things are mostly well organized. Main downside is wheelchair accessibility. Theres a lot of aisles that you just cant go through, be it they are too narrow, or blocked off by a pillar or a pallet. Fortunately, clothing racks are mostly moveable.

Great store for value shopping. Fantastic sales on name brand merchandise. Pharmacy (CVS) is great and service is beyond compare. If you are looking for a home town pharmacy with an emphasis on quality customer service and competitive value pricing on prescriptions then you want to go to the Target/CVS Pharmacy.

I went a little after they opened on July 3 and the place was a mess. There were shopping carts full of stuff everywhere blocking the aisles. The place was a maze. The people who worked there were rude and did not care that they were blocking the aisles. It was worse than Kmart. Ill go to Manalapan from now on!

The selection isnt as good as some other locations, but its better than most. Sometimes the lines can be a little long, but they usually do their best to open up more lanes. Its easier to get out quickly now that they have self-service lanes.

Needs improvement! Ive been going back and forth for the past few weeks and they dont restock on the vitamins I take. On website shows in stock when clearly they are not ! Overall employees are very nice and friendly !

This target has an extremely wierd layout. Not one of my favorites - things that should be in the front are somehow hidden way in the back. You pretty much have to ask where things are if youre new to this one.

This store doesnt have any inventory. Everything on the shelves is gone or "rotating stock" so that its in the back and they cant sell it. This is the most worthless Target in existence.

Always clean. Never had an issue there, but they could put more people on the registers during the weekends... always backs up, especially because it is a grocery store too.

I have not bought anything from there at a too expensive price. The people at checkout are polite. Also the self service lanes are easy to use

Very clean store, and I was able to find everything I needed very easily. Self checkout registers make it easy to grab things quickly and go

Cute clothes, and the clearance section is pretty big, the gluten free things they have as well are cheeper than at most grocery stores!
