Long story short, I had issues with my 2010 Macbook. The screen went black and it just keep shutting itself on and off. I went in and took it the geek squad. Right off the bat, the employee just had no idea what he was doing ( I could tell by the look of confusion, it look like he didnt even know what a labtop was). He took it back for someone else to look at. Two minutes later comes out and tells me my computer has short circuited and it would cost 1,000 to fix it, and that he sees this problem all the time. Came back home, went on my the internet on my phone and eventually found my own solution and my computer was up and running within the next few minutes. I am extremely happy about my labtop, but completely disappointed and in awe at the terrible service I experienced at Best Buy in Holmdel. NEVER EVER GOING TO ANY BEST BUY AGAIN!

I would advise that nobody shop from this particular Best Buy, and avoid Best Buy in general if at all possible. On 7/26 I made an online purchase for a store pickup of a laptop. I then confirmed the availability, and was told that the item was in stock and there was no problem with the order. Hours later when I wanted to pick up my order I was told that the laptop in question had been sold to someone else (after I placed my order). The manager (Gian Carlo Gambone I believe), refused to match the price on a comparable item. He told me that if I wanted to guarantee I actually get an item I order I should buy it in store, and not online (this is 2013). I will take my business back to Amazon or Newegg for all future tech related purchases as Best Buy is still the retail nightmare it always was.

Ive had nothing but problems at this Best Buy, mainly in the mobile phone department. When I went to return my phone & 32G memory card, I had to get the same model phone I had returned, & the employees never gave me back my 8G memory card that I had in the phone I returned. I called 17 times the next day & got disconnected or straight up hung up on each time. I will never go back to this Best Buy location ever again. I wouldnt have even given them one star but in order to write a review you have to give at least one star. They are unworthy of that star.

Purchased a $700 tv, was never offered a protection plan during my checkout. The tv has a defect and shows no picture 17 days after purchase and i have been informed i am stuck because the store only backs the product for 15 days so they dumped me off on Samsung who may have been a help if i spoke spanish but in turn gave me nothing. I will now be out the $786 i paid for this tv plus whatever i have to pay for a new but different brand... Awful customer service, no empathy for the customer. Never shopping here again

Had a horrible experience with Best Buy corporate (was on the phone with them for over an hour to make a simple change to an order - they hung up on me 3 times throughout) I called the store, explained the heartache and asked if they can make the change to my order (which was being shipped to a different address) Changes were made right away and hit the account within a half hour. Awesome service here!

I didnt even want to give 1 star. I was told that I would get a new in box iPhone if my phone had to replaced a 3rd time with the same software issue. 2 people confirmed this statement but manager still refused to zero out one off the shelf. Well, I wont be shopping there anymore for your bad customer service. Id rather drive 30 min away for better service. Thank you

Customer service at Best Buy is terrible, and this location takes the cake. They flat out lied to me, promised me things and took it back. Its very hard to believe they are in business. I would not recommend buying anything here! Maybe they should change the name to Worst Buy, thats more suited.

I ordered an item November 24 and said it would be ready for pick up on December 10. Walk into the store and it got pushed back to December 12/13. No notification of this. Last time I order something here. The sales rep I spoke to was helpful though! So thats the only pro of this.

Been going to this store for years. Usually very good customer service, but their prices are pretty high for what you get. If youre looking for something specific to buy, you need to find the right person to help you find it, as not every staff member knows where everything is.

I have been a Best Buy customer for decades today Ive called them to find out information about the product but unfortunately its all computerized and I need to Pride a certain SKU number. You cant press 0 to talk to somebody so another words I am done with all Best Buy stores

Ordered a 200 watt power inverter for pick up at this holmdel location. Get to the store to pick it up and they only have a 150 watt inverter, well I paid for the 200 watt and they tell it isnt in stock. Would not trust this location with anymore purchases.

Over priced. They wanted 40$ for an HDMI cable. Dont shop there anymore. You can find better stuff online for way cheaper. Most of the staff are not super knowledgeable as well, they are friendly though. Geek squad is a complete rip off.

They used to have a large selection of movies and music, but have remodeled the store and pretty much streamlined their selection. Too bad too because that was one of the things I enjoyed about going to that store for.
