Please beware. This place ripped me, my mother in law and my sister in law off. My first bad experience was when I called and asked how much it would be to get my wedding ring cleaned. He said no charge, no problem; I run it through a machine and it takes minutes. Took my ring and only asked how much as a courtesy. He charged me $20! My second bad experience was with getting a necklace repaired. Again, my mother in law dropped off 2 necklaces and a watch to have the battery changed. She asked the owner "how much?" He said dont worry about it we will work it out after. When she picked them up he charged her $30 each necklace to fix one link! Dishonest and a complete rip off! They lost several customers today.

I generally dont leave reviews but I wanted to give my own impressions for the services proffered. My wife stopped by to have an estate ring re-set with a new diamond. Although we didnt have the right combination of diamond size for the setting, Danson did spend considerable time helping her understand her options. They were very pleasant, professional and offered reasonably priced service. She will be returning soon to have the work done.

I was in the market for an Engagement ring so I stopped at Danson Jewelers in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Danson Jewelers is by FAR the MOST PROFESSIONAL and RESPECTABLE Jewelery Stores EVER! I got an AWESOME deal and my fiancé loved it!! I would recommend them to Friends, Family, and Every Person I meet! I LOVE THEM!! ASK FOR JACK! THEY ALSO BUY GOLD FOR TOP DOLLAR!!! They NEVER steer me wrong!!!

The first review written about this business is by the owner, please ignore it. Dont be swayed by the hype of their commercials. Always get multiple quotes. Didnt have a great experience when I walked in and they certainly didnt offer to pay top prices for gold.
