This is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. Let me first start off by my very first visit since they moved to their new location quite a while ago. My very first visit was at the beginning of July or mid July. I went in looking for a kitchen table with my three-year-old and my boyfriend. The customer service was not terrible at first, but we had yet to speak to anybody. We went upstairs and were greeted by absolutely nobody, so we proceeded to look around ourselves. We ended up finding something that we really liked. It turned out that we had to approach someone who was extremely snotty and seemed like he did not want to help. His name was Mohammed. Reluctant to help us he huffed and puffed through it .... anyway we placed our order, and proceeded with our receipt to the register to put down on layaway. Upon arriving at the register, a seemingly nice woman turned into a scouling, unfriendly and nasty looking woman. She was already on the phone arguing with a customer ,to which she started arguing with the floor manager screaming and yelling back and forth in front of my kid calling the customer stupid and idiotic. Now my son repeats those words because of this woman....although not the worst words...not cool. Im not sure exactly what her background is but she sounds like she could be Jamaican....again Im not entirely sure.... anybody who goes to the store will know who Im talking about. She has a beautiful accent , paired with a rotten attitude. We proceeded to finish up with checking out, and my three-year-old kept on climbing up on the furniture and putting his feet there, and to me thats not okay so I said something to him to get his feet off the furniture and her immediate reply was, "well at least you discipline him." Firstly, thats none of your business how I handle my son, and second of all,I wasnt disciplining him, I was teaching him manners. Myob. Anyway over the next few weeks I ended up paying off the table, and the day that I paid it off was this past Thursday which would be the 11th of August 2016. We went with pickup so I had arranged weeks in advance for someone to watch my son because I do not have a lot of family nor do I have friends who can watch him and I cannot afford a service. We went to pick up the table my boyfriend and I. Everything took about an hour, hour-and-a-half... with the trip plus the loading and the checking out. We got home put everything down carefully went and picked up my kid, came home and started unpacking everything to notice a decent-sized totally different color than the table area on the top of the table and upon closer inspection it was a huge chip. When I called and spoke to the older Caucasian woman I was responded with "well I dont know what to tell you." And they tried to charge me another $75 for pickup and delivery even though this was their fault. It was not until I threatened to shame their business in any way possible as well as go to the Better Business Bureau with my pictures and mentioning this fight that they had in front of my three year old son that they finally had a change of heart and delivered the table to me. I will not be returning here ever. Wayfair has better prices and delivers for free regardless of my having to put together the furniture or not. They have tons better customer service over the phone etiquette and manners. I would not recommend Unclaimed Freight in East Brunswick to my worst enemy and I would not come here even if I was dying. I will say the Saving Grace was the two lovely delivery men that came to my house this evening. They were polite quick friendly and amazing.

We have purchased a few things from them. One rug, was poor quality and looked kind of cheap (but good from far away) but it was very inexpensive (I think $20 for a 5x7 oriental styled rug) and worked until our dog chewed it and we found a better quality rug we love. One metal and wood bistro set. This looks really great. We dont ever use it really, it just fills a weird corner next to our kitchen, but it looks good. Not sure if it would hold up to daily use, but good for our purpose. One slate and wood coffee table. This also looks really good, but the shiny finish is coming off on the bottom shelf. The top shine is still in good condition, but the bottom shelf has not really been used or cleaned harshly, so the peeling shine coat is just from poor quality. The rest of the piece looks good, but there is a design flaw that you cannot remove the slate to clean around it and in the cracks, which is basically impossible without removing, even with a vacuum or a cloth. Those are a quality issues, but again, it looks very nice. The store is a weird place to be in, not the most pleaseng environment. A lot of the time the staff (young men in their 20s usually, with some older men peppered in) are all sitting in recliners talking amongst themselves. They loudly use a lot of the F word and other swearing, and one time I was in the store (Ive been there about 4 times) they were all taking about doing hard drugs. When you ask for help they act as though youre inconveniencing them terribly, or they actually say they cannot help you and you have to find someone else. The manager seems sleazy, like a stereotype of what would be a cross between a used car salesman and a mob associate, and doesnt remember what he said to you 5 minutes before. All that being said I will return there again, because the furniture is inexpensive for filler pieces and some of the stuff looks high end and in a style I like (some stuff is super tacky though), even if the real quality isnt there.

If I could give negative stars I would! My mother and grandmother came here to buy a couch. The sales guy told my 85 year old grandmother it would be delivered in a week. She was so excited. On the receipt it stated delivery date December 10th. On December 7th the sales guy Doug called and said the chair she ordered was in but they didnt know when the couch would be in, so what would she like to do? When they called back today on December 8th they told her it would take at least 3 weeks and when questions were asked, the manager Jim hung up on her. We were told that in order to cancel the order it needed to be in person. When we arrived we were then laughed at by Jim the manager. We tried to explain again how their confusion and incompetence ruined an 85 year olds Christmas; however we were only met with rudeness and snarky responses. Jim then proceeded to insult my family by stating that the people he spoke to on the phone were unruly and rude; when in fact he was the one that was unruly. What kind of "manager" laughs at a customer and thinks its funny when you ruin Someones Christmas. What kind of manager stated that its not his problem and that the paperwork is only "estimated". What kind of manager threatens to have paying customers thrown out of store because we wanted an explanation and a refund. I will never shop here again and demanded a full refund!!
