I wish I could leave 0 STARS but Google doesnt let me. This place is an ABSOLUTE DISASTER. My wife and I bought a power reclining couch and love seat, both FULLY WORKING floor models, during their recent "Demolition Warehouse Clearance Sale". Both were delivered in mid-December to our house, but the power recliners on the couch did not work. They delivered us the WRONG COUCH. It was clear on the tag on the couch that it was marked as "both recliners not working". That was not what we bought. But, the delivery guys told my wife to sign for the couch and that they would note it on the delivery ticket and reach out to the store about having it fixed shortly thereafter. Now, 2 months later, couch still has not been fixed. They hired a consultant, Andrew, to come to my house and look into fixing the couch. He shows up and says "Dont worry, youre in good hands now, Ill get this taken care of". Then, he leaves and we never hear from him again. Actually, we heard from him on two occasions with multiple excuses on why he didnt get back to us. Very convenient. But, we never heard from him again since those excuses. So, obviously ANDREW was not the solution. Now, Ive spoken to Customer Service at least 5 times since then, waiting on hold 20 minutes each time before somebody answers. After sending us the wrong parts 2 separate times in the mail, I finally got through to somebody to understand that we didnt need power cords and that it was the motors that did not work. The support person I am working with, Crystal, said the lead time was 3-6 weeks for the motors and she would call me with a tracking number once they shipped. That was 5 weeks ago. Motors still have not arrived. Now, I just got off the phone with Crystal again and Im told the lead time on the motors is 16-20 WEEKS. So, I guess the motors are coming from the MOON? Ive never dealt with such incompetence before in my life. I have more than enough going on in my life to have to continuously think about the next time Im going to follow up with Huffman Koos to see when they are going to fix the couches we paid a handsome price for. So, in summary, STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this store, and all Huffman Koos stores in general. There is a great probability that what you get delivered to your house is NOT what you bought or will be damaged or not working, and then you will have a headache on your hands for months, maybe even years, trying to resolve the issue. Lastly, I will note that our wonderful saleswoman, SHARON, has been non-existent through this whole process. No follow up calls to us trying to see if our issue was resolved, no apologies, NOTHING. She made the sale, enjoys her commission from the sale, while WE deal with the headache trying to get this resolved. Summary: a) Dont ever shop at Huffman Koos - Fairfield, or any Huffman Koos location for that matter b) If you decide to take your chances and do shop there, and SHARON greets you at the door, ask for a new SALES PERSON, because SHARON does not stand behind her customers. She takes her commission and runs and leaves you in the dust to deal with the headaches when there are problems. c) If you dont listen to a or b above, EXPECT that your furniture will show up either damaged or not what you bought. And, then expect to get the runaround for months trying to get the situation resolved. Then, remember this post and kick yourself for not listening.

How is this place still in business? The owner, Anthony, was sent to jail because of mishandling funds. Not one Decent Review-very sad. Before I work for any company, I always check the company and their reviews. Oct 15, 2009 New Jersey furniture retailer Anthony Mehran, the owner, president and CEO of Huffman Koos, pleaded guilty to filing a false tax return, admitting he engaged in a $3.8 million cash-skimming scheme over a five-year period to avoid paying income taxes. Mehran, 39, of Fort Lee, N.J., pleaded guilty to a one-count criminal information that charges him with subscribing to a false tax return. At his plea hearing, Mehran admitted that from 2000 to 2005 he engaged in a cash-diversion scheme in which he skimmed roughly $3.8 million in cash received by two of his furniture stores, then named Moda Furniture and Moda Fairfield. As part of his scheme, Mehran admitted, he instructed his bookkeepers not to deposit cash sales proceeds into the stores’ corporate bank accounts. Instead, Mehran personally collected cash sales proceeds from the stores on a periodic basis and did not report the income on his corporate tax filings, he admitted. Mehran admitted that he withheld information about the cash sales from his accountant when he sent the corporate bank account records to the accountant. This conduct, Mehran admitted, caused false corporate and individual tax returns to be submitted to the IRS. He faces up to three years in prison and a fine of $250,000.

NEVER buy from this store. They lie to you about the delivery date when they sell you the furniture and once the sale is made, you have to keep chasing after them to find out when the furniture will be delivered. I had to call multiple times and then land up in their store to get a definite answer from them, after 3 weeks of not hearing from anyone. The Manager gave me his cellphone number and reassured me that our sofas and dining set both will be delivered on Friday next week as we had gone there on a Thursday. Come Friday, we receive our Sofa but the delivery people tell us that they didnt bring our dining set. They dont know when that will be delivered. To my horror, when I saw the sofas I realized that 5 out of the 9 cushions it was supposed to come with, were missing. I immediately texted and called the Manager, David and he did not respond. He never picked up my calls or texted me back. It has been 5 days and I havent heard from anyone. We still dont know if and when we are getting our dining set and our sofas came incomplete. It has been a complete NIGHTMARE dealing with this store, would never go there again. All our friends that are in the process of buying a house have been told about staying away from this furniture store! Regret going to them!

Two words... STAY AWAY! This place is a total shame. My husband and I ordered new bedroom furniture for our daughter about 6 months ago. What was supposed to be 3-4 four weeks max ended up being 3 months. The furniture that was delivered was completely wrong and incomplete. The delivery people said they are not allowed to put it back on the truck. We would have to call the store to schedule a pickup. We called the store and explained we had received the wrong furniture. They proceeded to email us a copy of what we signed off on. What we signed was an illegible photocopy and we could not see the picture clearly. It never crossed our minds that they were having us sign for the wrong furniture. All sales are final and even though they had us sign for the $5000 worth of wrong furniture we were stuck with it. Now... we still have not received the desk that they forgot to order. The manager said he would sell us the desk at cost because of their mistake. After another two months we called and the manager is never available and they have no record of what we are talking about. We are now in month six with the top part of the desk sitting on the floor but still no desk to put it on. This place is a disgrace and they are all a pack of liars.
