The only reason I gave one star was because the sales person was very helpful. However, the day of delivery I was expecting a bedroom set and an end table set. Two men arrived at my house. First of all one of the men started bringing in the dressers to the front porch. He was carrying the dresser by himself, and because the dresser was very heavy when he got to the front porch he had put it down very hard. He proceeded to carry the second dresser by himself. Finally, the second man started to help him move the furniture into the house. After the bedroom set was put together they called me to tell me it was complete. There is about 20 drawers in this particular bedroom set so I opened a couple of drawers just to check. The drawers were a little sticky but everything seems okay. About 10 minutes after the delivery men left I opened one of the drawers because I wanted to begin to fill it. The drawer came out a little crooked and when I closed it, it wasnt closing flush to the dresser. I took the drawer out and the track fell into the bottom drawer. I immediately called Ashley Furniture. I was told that I would receive an email, and I was supposed to respond to that email with pictures of the damaged dresser, and they would follow up with me the following day. I never received that email. The next day I called them back because not only have I not received the email, but never received a follow up call. I called them and the representative I was speaking with stated that the email was sent, and I didnt respond, and proceeded to ask me if I checked my spam folder. When I told them that that was the first thing I checked she attempted to send it again. I put her on speaker phone so I could check while she was on the phone, however she just hung up. I then attempted to call them back later that day because I just wanted this to be taken care of but couldnt get through. So then I tried to call the store. They told me that there was nothing they could do there, and would call the distribution center the next morning. The women from the store called the next morning only to tell me that someone would call us back this morning. Of course nobody called. And again we had to call them. The person that answered the phone then stated that they didnt receive any photos and had to send them again, and would have to call us back. Guess what... they didnt call. I had to call them again, and then I was told that there was no manager available to okay the exchange of the damaged piece furniture, and would have to wait. That was not an option at this point, and told them that a manager must call us back that day. We finally got a call back, but was given a lot of difficulty. I didnt pay $2,500. for it to be damaged. Its isnt like it was a day, a week, or even a month. I called them for the first time 10 minutes after they left my house. I will never buy anything at Ashley Furniture again.

This place is a joke. I spent $3K on a bedroom set including the replacement program. After chipping the nightstand with a vaccum, it took me several phone calls before someome came out two weeks later to tell me it couldnt be repaired and the store would contact me when my credit was available. Three weeks later, I finally got my credit. Then almost daily the store would call to harass (find out) when I was coming in to pick out my new nightstand. After picking it out I was told I had to pay another $49.99 for delivery since they only ship from the warehouse in NJ. It was suppose to be delivered on xmas eve and after I tried to reschedule that, I was told I would of had to pay a restocking fee. I told them to just deliver it. I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS with this rip off, unprofessional, over charging, junk furniture store again!!!! Go to Raymour instead, I never experienced anything like this with them in the same situation. Service and products both cheap!!

We were looking to replace a sofa and had visited several furniture stores. At one national store the the sales rep mentioned several times that their furniture was better quality and price that "Ashley". Not taking his word we went to see for ourselves. The furniture and selection at Ashley Furniture Home Store, was far superior and the prices were better than any of the other places we had visited. We not only replaced our sofa but were able to purchase a loveseat as well without going over our budget. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and understood our needs. And, he never once mentioned that he could out do his competitors. I guess when you have good furniture and great pricing, you dont have to. Well be shopping at Ashley Furniture Home Store soon for our Dinning Set!

Carmen Riley I am extremely happy with my Ashley Furniture in Middletown., N.Y. , experience. I love my leather sectional.The service provided by the staff Dennis, Steve, Sam, Kiara and Adrian was absolutely wonderful from the beginning to the end. They have assisted in helping me provide beauty in my home so much that I went back and purchased my dinning room chairs and bench two (2) weeks later. The delivery staff was excellent. Customer service was professional and extremely helpful. Now when I stick my key in my front door and walk into my living room & dinning area I have a smile of joy for the new beauty and comfort in my home. Thank you Ashley Furniture of Middletown, N.Y. for adding new flavor in my home and life!

Horrible customer service and warranty program. After spending a lot of money on a leather living room set it is pealing off after 4 years. I am not really sure what type of leather just peals off the furniture but apparently this is a common complaint from Ashley. We spent the extra money thinking we were getting quality furniture that would last us through our childrens younger years. Not the case at all. When you call Ashley or the warranty company they explain that this is not part of the extra 5 year coverage plan we paid for. In fact the pealing of the leather is only covered for the first year. Please do your research and dont waist your money like we did.

Right from the firs visit to Ashley in Middletown New York was an excellent and inspiring experience with their customer service. The salesperson who helped me was a doll, their credit department was very accommodating, the delivery men were very diligent with what they were doing and delivering. Afterwards receiving a follow up call from the company for my feedback was great too. There are so many companies out there who can sell furniture, but when a person is accommodated in every way of the entire experience it makes life much more gentle and positive with the customer service! Thank you Ashley and crew.

I saw a living room set I really liked in another store. I did not want to make a large purchase like that without at least looking at another store---so I went into Ashley Furniture. Store was nice and salesman Joshua was great. It was one of the nicest furniture shopping experiences I ever had. We fell in love with a great set and the purchase went smoothly. It cost a little more than I planned, but I added the power reclining feature (which I dont regret at all!). When delivered it was even better than I remembered in the store. I plan on purchasing more furniture there !! Very happy camper!
