I would not even give this place one star, they are TERRIBLE!! My husband and I went for a couch for our new home needed it ASAP because we were having a party the next month. We agreed to have what was in stock delivered and the rest was promised to be delivered the following week. Well the following week came and went and nothing was delivered and we received no call from the store. My husband than called and was told it would be here a week after fine, but to no surprise it was not there!! We than had to have a party with half a couch that we spent nearly 4,000$ on and mind you were completely embarrassed to have part of the couch missing as a first impression of our new phone. After that I called to see what the issue was and they told me September 10th, mind you we were told initially it would be in August 10th so yes now thats a month later!!! I would of been less annoyed if the store would of contacted me to let me know that there was a delay but no instead I had to call them twice. We finally got the missing piece of couch that they credited us the shipping for and while it was greatly appreciated what is 100$ on thousands, but again no surprise there was another issue the couch, now its to small. When we went into the store we had a particular couch in mind that was told to us would be too big for the dimensions of our room, so we took the the PROFESSIONALS advice and went for another couch which was MORE money and now it didnt fit. I understand your job is to sell and make commission but if you are going to up sell someone do good by your customer. So nonetheless we had to call again!! Now we had to spend MORE money on a couch that was a nightmare to begin with to buy another piece for the sectional to make it fit. AVOID at all cost, many places do financing. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else you will prob spend less money and get better quality product and service! go to BBB company as a whole is a NIGHTMARE!

I used R&F for years but the team in the Freehold store has changed that for the years to come. Recently, we bought new living room furniture which would take 4-6 weeks to deliver as they didnt have it stock but they 100% guaranteed delivery for a party that we were having at our new house. We wouldnt have placed the order if it didnt meet the party deadline. We got a call 4 weeks later saying they stopped shipping that furniture. We went back and bought something out of stock. They delivered part of the order that week as the truck drivers brought the wrong chair. I called customer service and they told me over the phone not to reject the order and they would get me the right one as the person who entered the order screwed up vs the truck drivers. I reluctantly agreed and then found out a few days later that they would need another 6+ weeks since that item wasnt in stock. When I questioned this, the immediate reply was that I cant cancel anything now since I accepted the order so I had to wait. I didnt bring up cancelling the order but it appeared to me at that point, that they probably knew all along that this would happen and did their level best to make sure I accepted the order vs losing the sale. Unfortunately, the entire management team gave me conflicting stories about what was happening so they were obviously telling me things they thought I would want to hear versus the truth. I was a 10 year customer who spent well over 20K in their store. The final conversation was that they would be sending me a significant gift card as they knew how bad they screwed up. It has been over 6 months and I havent seen anything yet in the mail. That card must be showing up any day now. Guessing I will be told mail must be due to the holiday season if I called inquiring why they screwed up everything, never followed through on anything they said during or after the order.

We noticed that expensive bed we purchased for our son is falling apart. Apparently, materials were of sub-par and very VERY cheap and low quality. When we analyzed how their bedding is done we came to conclusion that Raymour and Flanigan is offering highly deceptive sales practices, especially for bedding and bedrooms. Support of beds is breaking and bed parts are often stapled and not even nailed to their bases. Even unsophisticated user should look under the bed and see what they are selling you. And dont take what their sales people (likely recent bank tellers or mall workers laid off from their work) will tell you. When we called service desk, and told them our son has no working bed to sleep on, we were given service date of 2 weeks later, as if bed is used only once a month. The savings on not being able to address customer needs in time is what we realize feeds their investment into advertisement and hiring rolling sales teams. They sell protection plans for a reason - they need to insure themselves from returns. But it is not right criteria to decide on whether furniture is good for you. We wanted to share this experience so other people may avoid issues we faced.

I am beyond fed up with this company and will never use them again. I was given the wrong quote on a couch ($600 less than it actually was). When I called to talk to someone about it, 4 managers later and many phone calls, I was offered a $250 gift card to the store. GREAT! I can spend more money at this wonderful store. I ordered a rug but was told I cannot get the rug delivered until my gift card comes and that wont be sent out until my couch is delivered. The couch delivered was the wrong piece. So that took another week to get correct. I finally got my couch and am still waiting on my gift card (19 days later). After I was promised it in 2 weeks. I had to call again and ask where the gift card was for them to tell me it was put into the system incorrect. I am now told that I will be receiving the gift card by the end of next week ( 28 days after my couch was delivered).Ill believe that when I see it. I am sure they will mail the wrong rug as well. Bottom line, only use them if you want to spend most of your time on the phone and get ripped off by lying sales people.

My first purchase experience at Raymour and Flanigan was an incredibly good one. Perhaps the negative reviews came from working with the wrong salesperson or something, but my wife and I worked with Ward who was a pleasure to deal with. No high pressure tactics like a lot of sales people. He had our best interest in mind and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were happy. When our furniture arrived, the delivery guys were true professionals and we were impressed with the care they took in making sure that the furniture and our house was not damaged. The furniture itself is beautiful and we are very happy with the overall experience.
