I am so disappointed with these people since they brought on the current receptionist. Jennifer and her previous staff were always so friendly and customer oriented. Now … I will never go back. It started about a year and a half ago. I ordered lenses but when they contacted me and let me know the order Hd not been placed yet. I cancelled the order and the “NEW” receptionist person immediately informed me that they could NOT refund me my money I had paid. I thought this was very unusual but, I had previously been very happy with Jennifer, so I agreed to forward it to the next year since I did plan on returning every year as usual. Well when the glasses that I ordered came in… They did not fit as the sample frames I had tried AND I could not see clearly with them. Well, Jennifer was not available the day they called me and I went in to pick them up. So I asked them to verify the prescription since I could not see out of them clearly… There must have been an error. I was told I need to see Jennifer to resolve the problem. I went in during regular business hour on two other occasions and. Jennifer was not there. Well, anyway no longer being in the area it was over a year later and I went back to have my eyes examined to insure I would get credit from the lenses I ordered that the order was cancelled and they would NOT refund my money… I then asked for the glasses I paid for BUT, they could not find them and told me they were in storage since it was so long since I was last in. This made sense and ask if I could give them a week to retrieve them, and I agreed. I gave them and extra week and when I took the time to go to their office… Guess what! No glasses. They told me they would call me when my order for the current pair I ordered came in and I could pick up both pair. Well, Guess what again… They had my new glasses but NOT the previous pair I paid for… So I was told to bad it has been to long and we can not find them. So I ask them to reorder them. And the receptionist said no. They would not refund my money or reorder the glasses I had paid for. Do NOT ever use these people or you risk not getting your order with NO refund. Robert DiNoto

My husband and I recently had our annual eye exams and I have to say that we love Windham Family Eye Care. My husband got progressive lenses for the first time and after about a month of wearing them he decided he preferred single vision instead. Laurie was very accommodating as usual and sent them back to be changed. She also applied the hefty credit to a second pair of glasses that I just had to have. My family has been coming here for years and weve never had a bad experience with Jennifer or her staff. Weve recommended her to many friends and they too have been very pleased with the service. Jennifer is very thorough with her exams and makes sure you are completely satisfied before you leave her office. I attribute her with saving the vision in my right eye. During a routine visit a couple of years ago, she found a "retinal vascular occlusion" or more specifically, a blood clot in the main artery of the retina. She immediately got me an appointment for the very next day with a Retina Specialist. Thanks to Jennifer, today I have 20/20 vision with the help of very stylish glasses of course!

I have been going to Windham Eye Care since they first opened in 2006, and have NEVER experienced anything but courteous, professional treatment by both staff and Dr. Shanley. And further, I work for the Teamsters and have access to members that we have recommended Dr. Shanley to, and not once have I ever had one single complaint, in fact, theyve called to thank us for the referral because they love Windham Eye Care. I have no idea where this person in the previous review is coming from, but frankly that has not ever, in all these years, been our experience with Dr. Shanley or her staff. My entire family goes there now, and Windham Eye Care has done nothing but go out of their way to take fabulous care of me and my familys eye health. I even had a special set of circumstances with an issue that cropped up requiring a SPECIALIST, and Dr. Shanley immediately pointed me in the right direction there too. I wouldnt trust my eyes to ANY ONE else!!!

Left glasses to have lenses put in and 2 weeks later did not get the correct lenses. Then no one would call you back to tell you were your glasses were. Called again and after three weeks still with out lenses. Picked up the glasses and frames after three weeks. Problem is there is no customer service. If someone would have called and said we checked on your glasses they will be in on Thursday there would never be a problem. No one follows through. Went in twice to find out were the glasses were and they said they would check, it took two weeks the first time and still no glasses after a week the second time. Key is you need to communicate with your customers and let them know what is going on. Dont leave them hanging. Its all about the customer service.

Love Windham Family Eye Care. Jennifer is great and really takes the time to explain everything. She was fabulous testing my son with Autism for his very first eye exam Lori took the time to help my older son practice with his first contacts. Its like Cheers. . "Everybody knows your name, and theyre always glad you came." I wont go anywhere else.

I agree with the previous statements regarding poor service and the current receptionist. The customer service there and following up with customers in a timely manner might help but. Jennifer is wonderful but her staff is NOT .. I am also a Teamster so THAT does not make a difference!
