My initial experience this business was great. Dean was very polite and more then happy to let me look at and test drive multiple vehicles I was looking at. While testing out a truck , which would eventually become the one I own, I noticed several problems that could be fixed and requested that they take care of it upon purchase. Several days went buy and I received a phone call that the truck was ready for pick up. I drove 1 1/2 hours there to only find out that nothing was fixed that I pointed out. Some things they just tried to hack together. This made me realize that they live up to the used car salesman reputation that everyone knows too well. Most of these issues where minor, mostly aesthetic and could be fixed down the line if I wanted. That being said they still tried to pull a fast one. I drove all the way there and overall the truck is fantastic and a hard truck to come by at that, but still. While signing the paperwork they were rushing through it, going a 100 mph, acting as if they had better places to be. The service definitely decreased the second time around. When I finally took the truck home, I had a funny feeling that these goons probably neglected it in other ways. I changed the oil and wouldnt you believe it there was no oil filter at all. The assembly in the housing wasnt even there. The closer I looked, I realized that several things were held together by zip ties. The more I seemed to work on it the more I realized how much was hacked together. Its a shame that people do this stuff. They do have very nice vehicles there but buyer beware. Make sure you allow yourself a good amount of time to look them over.

Was looking for the perfect large SUV and found it at Leavitt! I inquired about the vehicle online to get more details. I quickly received a response so I decided to give them a call. They had just got the Ford Excursion in the day before, but were able to give me all of the details over the phone. The pictures looked really good and after researching their reviews on the web (including the Better Business Bureau), I decided to drive 2+ hours from Maine. When a small dealership is BBB accredited with an A+ rating, it gets my attention! They said the cars was in good shape, but I thought it was in great shape. I took it for a nice, long test drive and knew it was the one. Bob and Mike did an oil change and detailing for me and got an excellent finance rate. Before we drove it off the lot, Mike even went to put gas in it!!! If all dealerships really cared about the family name like these guys, buying cars would be easy! I will definitely be buying my next car or truck from Leavitt!

I bought a 2003 Ford F250 from Leavitt Auto on 10/17/2013. I had a few mechanical problems with it shortly after I purchased it that I was told to fix and send them the bill which I did. I never was reimbursed for the parts or the labor and could never seem to get the person I needed to speak with on the phone. About 5 months after I purchased this truck it exploded with rust and some decent size rot holes in the body. Come to find out it had a quickie paint job to cover these defects. Weather Leavitt did it or not is a mystery I will probably never solve. I still own the truck and have put about $1000.00 into it since I bought it. about 600 should have been covered but they just didnt. Because of this I would not use them again and would not recommend them to people I know.

Great people in the beginning, told me they went all through it and everything was good. Drove out 7 hours to pick it up and found out the seat had a rip, but other than that it was as described. Went to drive it 7hrs home and I ran out of fuel with half a tank an hour after leaving. The next day the engine hydrolocked and after fighting with Leavitts they payed to have 1 injector replaced (ford recommends replacing at least the 4 in that bank). 1 month later I blew a head gasket and had to rebuild the top end, the machine shop told me they were the worst they have ever seen heads. 1 year later this truck has been nothing but problematic. Would not buy another truck here.

Great Trucks , Great guys. I am also in the Auto Sales business, although we very rarely see trucks so my internet search brought me to Bob Leavitt. These guys are great and very upfront. Being in car sales I know what games can be played and they just dont exist here. They even went out of theyre way to to help me get some extra toys installed before I picked up my 2005 Silverado. Had my truck for about a week now and LOVE it. I have already recommended Bob to a few friends. I worked with Dean, Mike and Bob and they were all great.

He was upfront about everything and made our process stress free. Not only was the purchase process stress free but the financing was too. I recently bought an 08 FX4 F-150 from the father & son at Leavitt Auto and would definitely buy another Vehicle from them. they had no problem with me taking the truck to a friends shop so I could throw it on a lift and go through the entire truck. They were extremely reasonable on all aspects, from my trade in to the price of the truck & financing. Easy to work with and no BS, very different from most used car salesman.

Anyone that has a bad review about Leavitt Auto apparently didnt stick around long enough to work with them. Had some minor issues with my truck in the first week. Brought it back and they fixed it and then had some major issues a few months later. They took it back without an issue and made things right. Mike and Bob Leavitt stand behind their work for sure. I know Ill be back when it comes time to buy a new truck.

Great selection of trucks and a pleasure to deal with nice and easy financing didnt get the run around like at other bigger dealerships very straight forward both Bob and Mike they had me in my truck the next day was easy and painless and the truck was ready to go. id gladly buy another truck from them and would recommend them to anybody looking to buy a vehicle youd be glad you did.
