Mostly I find it distressing that selected CVSs offer service in specific states to having a NP on duty to treat simple ailments like Posion Oak,Ivy or Summac. Why is Mass privy to these services over NH. Also in short to the sales pitch to the comment "In Short First opened in 1963 in Lowell, Mass., under the name Consumer Value Stores". Peple don;t realize how the Chain Stores of all Pharmacys have been diminished tby buy out and competition to the WHAT IA A TRUE APOTHOCARY! "The True Apothocary" which carried specialty items, which are no longer available for purchase through any chain store by out!. Example: I was looking for "Black Sauve" a Black aiontment to draw posion out or The Pure Herbs in Large Jars" behind the Apothocaries counter to use for medicianal purposes. Some items can be order for Yeast infections called Genia Violet (not sure if spelling correct) but this is something that treats the Yeat Infection that invades the bodys digestive system. So just buying monostate is extremely expensive anywhere from 13.99 to 25.00 dollars a treatment. Using GeniaViolet is about 7.00 dollars, but you have to special order all these specialty items, that at one time the "APOTHOCARY" had on hand. Apothocarys were so much more personal, less commercial. So heres to us the american, making Chain Stores Richer and putting Owner Operated Business out of Business. No offense CVS, but I just feel even My Insuranse Benefits scream "pay a penalty for not shopping at your store" it cost me more to go to Walgreens.
