This is definitely NOT the corner of healthy and happy. Its an intersection of violence, physical assaults, rage, fear-inducing harassment, and, nothing is done to mitigate these problems. All of this is perfectly acceptable at this Walgreens with their management I am walking distance from this location (for at least a dozen years) and will drive elsewhere to avoid shopping here at any and all costs. I would prefer to support a local business in my neighborhood, but, not if it means placing my safety in danger -- which is what happened to me a few times here before I finally decided to never shop here again. The security guard is clearly not there to protect anyone outside the store. He is there to prevent shoplifting by virtue of his presence. Im guessing there must be sufficient shoplifting at this location to warrant the cost of their part-time security guards. This on its own merits is telling about the kind of people who frequent this location. A couple of panhandlers were hanging around outside the doors just out of sight from the inside of the store. After I parked, one walked to my driver-side door and the other to my passenger-side door. They were smiling, tilting their heads from side-to-side, sticking out their tongues, wiggling their fingers, and, laughing. I looked them both in the eyes and started honking my horn repeatedly. They left as they swore at me and flipped me off. Unpleasant at best. I witnessed first-hand an obviously insane woman get out of her car and physically attack another woman who had just parked and was entering the store. The latter never made it in because she then tried to get the license plate number of the crazed woman. In turn, this crazy woman jumped in her car and hit the victim with her car not once, but twice. My spouse witnessed a car pull into the parking lot where a man dragged out a woman and proceeded to beat her bloody. My spouse went in and told management and they exhibited no interest in looking or contacting the police. These latter two incidents happened right around the 2012 Thanksgiving holiday, which is when we decided that safety trumps convenience every time and we would shop elsewhere. I cannot recommend this location to anyone who values her/his/their safety and wishes to remain unscathed.

Snotty and Ignorant. This location, especially the Pharmacy, needs an entirely new staff. Just purge this place completely and actually interview people for their positions. Perhaps see if they have even the smallest amount of people skills and see if they can actually work at a pace quicker than a heroin addict after a fresh hit. The only person worth a damn in the pharmacy is the younger full figured blond woman. She actually seems to move a line along and has people skills. The worst is the Asian woman who works at night and literally says inappropriate things to just about every customer i see her deal with. Snotty and ignorant is the perfect description for what this walgreens looks for in its employees.

Wont be going to this Walgreens ever again. I have been bothered by the same panhandler outside of this location on many occasions over the course of the last 6 months or so. It is the same guy everytime and management is aware of it. Most recently the guy tried to block me from reentering the store after he asked me for money. I did get back in and told the useless security guard and an equally useless asst manager named "Benjamin". Neither did anything about it. I have driven by and still see the same guy just outside the front door. Certainly there are enough qualified people looking for jobs that Walgreens could find more effective employees. No more Walgreens for me.

On more than one occasion I have wasted time driving here because a medication was not in stock. I was then told incorrect information about when the medication would be in stock.. I called before going the person said it wont be in for another day and was rude on the phone.. if you dont like your job GET A NEW ONE PLEASE!
