The owner and proprietor of the business James only seems rude or unprofessional to people that have an inexperience to private family owned and ran business. If you come in to a personal business with a self gratifying attitude that you know better then everyone else and are all high and mighty prepare to get met with a force much larger then yours. Swap tags or try to talk people down because you can get the item off ebay or the toy store then go elsewhere. Have a good attitude and stop being sarcastic to people you will get a better deal almost every time with a good attitude. Old Market Omaha is a melting pot of people,culture,ethnics,races,visitors,tourists. Everyone is throwing out powerful vibes of personality and creativity and trying to find themselves or inspiration here. 1.The items that you can find between the three stores Jackson,Howard and Maple are amazing and hard to find collectible. 2.They buy and sell competitively if you can bring in things you dont need or want just dont expect retail prices these business need to make money and it takes time and effort to find a market for things.

I use to love this place but the owners accused us of changing a tag from 14.99 to 13.99 and kicked up out. Not trying to play the racist card but when we just got there the women owner started to give us a attitude when we asked about prices. Also said its not okay to steal from them but its okay to steal from goodwill or Walmart after she told us she has some handicapped workers. Never going back there ever again.

The items in this store are used and some are antiques. I was on my way to purchased an antique purse when it broke. The owner of the store accused me of breaking the purse. Her demeanor was utterly appalling. Screaming at the top her lungs toward me. The harassment continued outside of the store with an audience to witness. It was the worst example I have ever seen of customer service.

My wife and I have been going to this place since we started dating over four years ago. Every time were in the Old Market, we always make sure to stop into the Imaginarium to see what cool new things theyve added. The staff are very friendly and professional, and the inventory is outstanding. If you can think of something, you can probably find it here for a great price!

I love this place. They have all types of antiques, and even modern toiletries, but the focus (if there is one) is on vintage 80s. I feel like every time I go here I spend too much money buying back my youth. Because theyre the only retail store in the Old Market open late we always seem to end up here after going out for dinner.

Really cool and nice staff and a good store to go to when u need things like knives,name brand lanyards, has the best winter or whenever hats, and good party items and also had cheap electronics but very few and i love there star wars collection...good store for an adult or teen/child that knows wat fun is when they see it lol

More of a collectable store than an Antique store. If you want to find collectable Legos, baseball cards, jewelery, game consoles, jewlery and tons of other items this is the place to be. If you are looking for antique furniture then this is not the place to be at. Knowledgeable and friendly staff at your service here.

This is a wonderful place and you never know what you well find, it seems the place is home to many different vendors that use space in the store to sale things, this can take from things they make to someone who is just selling things they found on a garage. This is like a flee market on steroids

A store with the number of collectible items either used antique and some things new. A number of the items are surprisingly collectable and unique. Id say the majority of the items are for the 30 somethings itching to reconnect with their childhood. Its also got some modern attractions.

Not much of a collector of old toys and oddities, but it was a nice walk through seeing the old memories of the past getting the opportunity to make new memories. Unlike many other antique shops, it didnt have a dank odor, so thumbs up.

Totally a throwback sort of store. It was cool to window shop. Some of the prices are questionably high given the quality (not the collectors stuff so much as the random tank tops, etc.). Feels kinda claustrophobic & grungy though.

Interesting place lots of variety, I kept thinking ....did they dig through my trash to find some of this stuff? Overly crowded and not well laid out. Would depend on your taste. I WOULD NOT bring my younger kids to this place.

The staff is always pleasant, and the stock is constantly rotating. There are new things that come in everyday. They also now have a website where you can purchase from, if you are not local to Omaha.

This funky little shop is full of all sorts of stuff. From vintage Star Wars and Transformers action figures to mismatched pint glasses and katanas. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in Omaha.
