Long review ahead....BEWARE! My wife and I drove to Woodhouse Ford in Blair Nebraska for maintenance on our existing truck (2007 F350). I have had nothing but problems with this truck for the last two years and when we were hit with an almost $2K bill (and the work was not done yet) we said SHOW US ANOTHER TRUCK! Perry Myers spent the entire day with us. I mean it....almost 11 hours...while we went back forth with the service department (before we were 100% sure we wanted to take the plunge on another truck and still wanted to get out of there spending as little as possible) and drove around the lot (largest F series dealer in the midwest...and I think the second largest in the country....) to check out trucks. Perry was great. No pressure, just wanted to show us everything. If we didnt buy, no biggie! We did end up cutting our losses on the 2007 and bought a used 2015 in beautiful condition. I would have liked to get the price down some, but who doesnt! I feel I got a fair trade on my truck as well. If I trusted it enough to drive it off of the lot, I may have sold it private-party and got another couple thousand. But since the service department ate the cost of the ever-increasing repairs, I figured this was definitely the best course of action. Brittany Schrom spent a few minutes with us explaining the added protection packages. We did not purchase any, but again, no pressure. She was pleasant and a pleasure to talk to. Rod Friedenbach was our Financial Service Manager. This is where you get hit with all the gut-wrenching reality of "What the heck are we doing?!" He was gentle with us. In fact, after we waffled a little about where to register the truck (we have houses in a three states), we decided on Nebraska due to the lower sales tax. After we finalized everything and were walking out with Perry to climb into our "new" truck, Rod literally followed us into the hallway yelling at me! He told me that the decision to register in Nebraska may have been a bad one due to the high annual cost to keep the truck registered. And since Washington will charge us sales tax AGAIN if we change the registration later (within a certain time-frame), we changed the paperwork again to register it initially in Washington instead of Nebraska. This caused him a bit of extra work and us a lot of money. THANKS Rod! Last, but certainly not least, is Marty in the Service Department. He is the first person I spoke to when I pulled my truck up to the service door at 745 AM for my 8 AM appointment. I did not have to approach anyone...he came right up to me and asked how he could help. (I had no idea at the time that he was the lead technician at the 2nd largest F Series dealer in the country!) So I started to explain to him what was going on and tried to let him know immediately that I pretty much knew exactly what was going on with my truck...trying to impress him with my diesel knowledge. (I am always afraid to take my truck into a dealer for service...I always think that I am going to be taken to the cleaners...). Well, Marty started talking to me as if I was just as knowledgeable as him on diesel engines (I pretended I understood everything he said). Afterwards, after Janet and I had found Perry and were looking at replacement trucks, Marty came and found us twice to explain to me exactly what was going on with my truck. He spent a total of about 45 minutes talking to me regarding the 6.0L vs the 6.7L, the pros and cons of both, what Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) does, etc, etc... I walked out of the dealership much smarter (and a little more humble) due to his "training". Thanks Marty...I learned a bunch. If I can make the next diesel class, I will see you there. I am happy and would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks Woodhouse!

We purchased a Ford Transit 350 close to 1 yr ago, it currently has around 30,000 miles on it. We are a service and install company and got the 350 because its marketed as heavy duty. We travel all over NE, IA, and KS, so we get a lot of miles on these things. Anyway, we had a noise coming from our breaks so we took it to our regular mechanic. He told us the back breaks were bad and the fronts were not, we should take it to ford, it should be warranty. We took it to Woodhouse Lincoln on L st, they later called and said "this is just normal wear and tear". They then told us we needed new breaks on the back and a new roater. They said nothing was under warranty. Weve also had the plastic fuel door break off twice and they wouldnt warranty that either. I asked the service manager if that was normal, he said "yes we get them all the time like this". Remember this is the " HEAVY DUTY" model. I then called the salesman that sold us the truck and asked him if he had heard of any break problems, he said " no I have sold a lot of these trucks and never heard of any problems". I guess at this point I didnt trust them anymore. We went to the Lincoln store to look at the truck. By this time Im already without my truck for 2 days. The back breaks were worn out and the fronts were at 60% or so. I thought it was a little funny, However their mechanic assured me it was normal. When I looked at the replacement pad it looked like the same pads I used to put on my Taurus years ago, they sure didnt look "HEAVY-DUTY". Then the mechanic told us that the New Motorcraft pads that hes putting on come with a lifetime warranty. Well thats funny, because it was Motorcraft pads that came off and they had no warranty. So at this point we are looking at 3 days without the truck do I told them just to fix it. I wish I hadnt. After we paid them to fix the breaks, we left Woodhouse with the fuel door still broken. I then took the truck to Baxter on 180th and asked them about it. They apologized for our experience and warranted the fuel door. They were the place our mechanic recommend, I wish I had taken it there. They told me they would likely have warranted the breaks also, but to late. I have bought several vehicles from Woodhouse, my brother has purchased 2 trucks and 1 car, our business owns 9 ford service vehicles. We have gone to Woodhouse because they always say they stand behind their product. That was not really our experience. Baxter however was very pleasant and helpful. We plan on replacing 2 trucks at the beginning of the year and 2 more the year after that. I can assure you that this experience will influence our decision. Im also wondering if Ford is the best option if they need new breaks every 10 months. Dodge is offering a much longer warranty. But as Im finding out the warranty doesnt cover anything. I would never treat my customers this way, if I did Id be out of business.

The reason I Have been a customer @ woodhouse since 2011... As I was in the Market in for an F150 FX4 with certain options..... I had been to Multiple Ford dealerships in the Omaha area and let me tell you NO and I mean NO ONE was making the deal work, so @ one of the other dealerships the new car manager came to me and stated I was getting the best deal of the day I told him I like to go out to my truck and call my wife to check on it, so I made the call to Woodhouse asked for sales and Tom Bloom was the lucky sales man from that day as I explained to him what I was wanting and trying to do....... As the sales men were looking me down on the ford lot Tom quoted me one they had and told me to come out. Tom was a Man of his word as not one penny changed on the price when I showed up and the truck had all the options I wanted..... My wife and I have purchased an total of 4 vehicles from Tom since 2011 til my New current purchase..... I made the call to Tom and stated What I wanted to do, so Tom sent me some trucks in an email with the link to look at them the next day, so I called Tom and told him that my wife and I are on are way, but Tom stated he had prior commitments and I can still come on out he would have someone work with me and I told him I would like to have Nate Vazquez (Not be cause he an Hawkeye Fan) Tom laughed as I was lol....... Nate and I go back to childhood an knew he was working there as he seen me when my wife and I would come out to work with Tom.... So I asked Tom to have Nate pull down the stock Number Tom sent me to test drive it..... I want to Thank Nate for helping my wife and I as the truck had a dead battery and a check engine light on most likely because truck mountain has lots of trucks sitting up there, so Nate went above and beyond letting me take the truck home and then going to the service department to send a driver to My work at 830am next day to pick up the truck to put an new battery and clear the check engine light which did go off and the truck started just find, But it was all done to be safe and I loved that...... Again Thank you Nate and Woodhouse I am a Customer for life cause I been to other Ford dealerships in the Omaha Metro area where they like to play games, but Woodhouse is where the best deals will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
