Terrible. Terrible. Terrible prices. Almost evil. Ive sold items and they act like its worth nothing, then when I come back in theyre selling it for triple what Ive got for it!! How shallow! I know they got to make their money, but they do steal from the poor and give to their pockets. People that go in are obviously hurting for money, and they can care less because they want to fill their pockets witb our green! I recommend going to Zanders off fifth street! Very honest and fair people and will work with you to get what you need. The older man with the mustache at first capitol acts likehe owns the place and will rrip you off for everyrhing you bring in..he knows my item was worth 500$, gave me 30$, then sold it for $400..what a snake. Do. Not. Trust. Them. For. Any. Thing.

I am amazed that this place is only rated a 3! To my surprise, the staff was very friendly. They were quick to help me find what I needed, and they even gave me a great deal on a gold chain! After reading the reviews, I almost didnt give them a chance. They were one of the only places open on a Sunday, and I almost didnt have a choice but to go there to get what I needed. Im very glad that I went! Im going back this afternoon to get another chain that I saw when I was there LOL you cant beat the quality for the price! I wouldve paid 2x more if I wouldve went to Crestwood coin and jewelry like I usually do! Big THANK YOU to the guys that helped me yesterday!

Wanted to see how much they would give me for a 14K band with 7/10 cakat diamonds. The ignorant a-hole at the counter 1st tested the gold (twice) then proceeds to tell me its not real. Really? You didnt even look for the 14K mark in the band and you tested it TWICE!!! Was at Missouri Gold Buyers just before them and all they had to do was look at the mark, weigh it and make me an offer. Either the owner is a fool for hiring such a dip s--t or he has trained his employees to rip people off. Will NEVER set foot in there again and will tell everyone I know to go to Missuri Gold Buyers for a fair price on their gold and silver. What a JOKE!!

DONT NOT GO HERE! SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM! This is by far the biggest scamming business around. They sell equipment that does not work. They have no customer service skills at all. They have a sign in the store that states they will steal your children and use them as slaves! Sound crazy?! I thought so as well. Dont believe me? Go look. THE ENTIRE STORE IS A SCAM! CHECK THE BBB RATING IF YOU THINK IM LYING! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Used this place to do a gun transfer and I have to say it will be the last one I do here. My gun arrived and nobody bothered to call and tell me. I got delayed, no big deal happens to me all the time. When I came back to pick it up it was another long drawn out process like it was their first time. Re-verification, had to get back on line with Nics for me it was just an unorganized mess.

This place is just amazing, I have not been treated so well at a Pawn Shop in many years. The elderly gentleman gave me an awesome deal and was so helpful to me. I was treated just like family, I will be back to buy our Christmas presents. I highly recommend dealing with First Capitol Pawn!
