My Husband and I went into Menards for the first time on 12/6/15. We visited the Bridgeton/St. Ann location in St Louis, MO. We wanted to let you all know that we are now customers forever. Our experience in the store was remarkable. We initially went in just to look at flooring to get an idea of the tiles offered to redo our bathroom and kitchen. We were greeted by everyone throughout the store and as we were looking at the tile David Lee came over to assist us. Helpful is not the word to describe how wonderful his service was. He was very pleasant to work with and did a wonderful job in explaining the different tiles. He also laid out a pattern on the floor for us to take a look at.We did not go into the store with our measurements, but we left the store and came right back after driving home to take the proper measurements. Needless to say, we left with tile and all of the other material that day for the bathroom!!!! We were very pleased with David and his exceptional customer service. We also purchased paint and dry wall, and again the associates were so nice. My husband really enjoyed the drive up sheds where the drywall was placed right in our trunk! Every associate through out this process were nothing but pleasant and we really really appreciate this. Not to mention, the prices were fabulous as well! I told my husband, my dad should try to work there once he retires. :-) We have already began on the bathroom project and we will return when are ready to begin the Kitchen. Thank you all again for such wonderful customer service!!!

Today was part of Menards St. Ann grand opening week. What a nice, bright, clean store! Yes, I checked out the bathrooms, and they also were bright and clean. Its nice to see a significant, attractive development in the old Northwest Plaza area. The store was well stocked. There was a spirit of excitement as part of the grand opening. Lots of demonstrations scheduled as part of the celebration. The person I watched showing tiling was knowledgeable, friendly and patient with questions. I heard that Menards believes in scheduling a lot of demonstrations by their vendor experts. Cant wait. I found a good deal on replacement outdoor furniture cushions and pumpkins. Looks like it has a lot of great Halloween decorations - - including big and scary-looking outdoor displays. Im looking forward to going back when I have more time. P.S. And they stock Sprechers soda pop in their soda machines!!! Its a Wisconsin product from the Sprechers Brewery. Ive had it before - -the root beer is richly flavored. Try it - - especially in a root beer float.

The staff is polite and helpful. The only problems I had, I addressed. They were bad employee attitudes. Everyone is going to have that, but I see they werent there anymore. I go here at least twice a week. Just yesterday, I was looking for some things for a project. One kind gentleman stopped stocking to help me select my rock, gave me the item number and suggested I see someone at the Building Material desk to have them pick it up for me. I get back there and explain what I am doing. The associate knew just what I was talking about. He helped me figure the volume of rock I needed and followed me to the register with the rock on a cart. The cashier, Rhonda radioed for carry out service. This guy was there faster than I could check out. I didnt catch any names, except the cashier from the receipt, but it was 10:55am 4/19, if management wants to track down and recognize their great employees. You have a good team and that is number one, when determining where to shop.

Some staff members are extremely well informed and others must constantly ask someone. I am often told that it will be in stock later this week when the item is a common item like a particular size wood screw, etc. The online ordering system charges you extra for an in-store pick up even when the item is in stock. If you dont know the layout of the page well, it is easy to miss an indicator that the item is stocked at the store. I bought three sheets of exterior grade plywood, and when I laid down the plywood floor and painted it, one piece of plywood blistered indicating that large sections of the ply were not glued to other plies of the sheet. The prices are reasonable, but a similar store nearby has prices about 8 percent lower on many of the same items. The mail-in rebate is a needless hassle. Other store offer scannable coupons or immediate price reductions. All and all, I will probably not return very often.

I did not have a good experience at this location, I was told one price on the phone and when I arrived at the store, the price was higher and they did nothing to rectify the situation, this is so much like a bait and switch! I will not spend my hard earned money at a store that does business like this. The staff acted like they didnt know what they were doing, and management has horrible customer skills. The manager of the department wouldnt even get out of his chair and address the issue with me. I ended up leaving and going to their competitor across the street. I WILL NEVER SPEND A DIME AT MENARDS, I WILL DO WITHOUT!!!!

It is the only place I shop when I need something now! The replace a trip to the Bridgeton Wal-Mart which I personally despise, and I only go to Home Depot for a very limited amount of things. Their prices at Menards seem to be very competitive, and I LOVE their 11% off Rebate sales! It keeps me coming back for more items! The store is large, and always clean. They are sometimes short on cashiers, but the staff is always friendly, and polite. If you havent been to Menards yet, you are missing out!

Wow what can I say about this store? All their products seem to be broke or in bad packing with dust! That accounts for the low prices! Just walk in and notice all the returns. Notice how their products seem inferior to others. Most of the workers there dont know what they are talking about. They are getting paid. Notice how they are never quite sure on their answers? Good guest service is enough to sell you something. Just be nice to the guest

Bought a washer and dryer at this menards on Tuesday paid for delivery and installation. Wife took off work to wait for him they wouldnt give us a time he finally shows up at 230pm. Doesnt hookup the washer right reversed hot and cold hoses , didnt hookup the discharge hose, didnt turn water on , it leaked when we turned it on . Then gives us a gas dryer when we ordered a electric one, this is the worse service I have ever experienced!!!

They have a phenomenal return policy and so kind. Portland the manager in paint is so kind and knowledgable. As well as the associate Daniel. I come here a lot and never have been disappointed. Customer service matters here, and even though it is sometimes hard to find an associate, it is a very large store and each department has a lot of space to cover. They have sales all the time and their 11% rebate is awesome and easy to do.
