Wow! I am amazed at the lack of empathy a gentleman from this company has. I am a special education teacher that spends much of her summer babysitting previous students with profound autism. My client was having a meltdown in my car so I pulled over in the closest parking lot I could find - Clarkson jewelers. My client is hitting me, pulling my hair and throwing any item he can get ahold of at me. While pulled over I could see a man staring at my vehicle. I got out of my vehicle to move anything from the backseat into the rear of my SUV so my client couldnt throw it at me. The client was also trying to grab my drink from my cup holder. It was empty, other then ice. So I opened my door and dumped the ice (nothing else!) out in the parking lot. The same man that was staring moved his car closer to mine. He was coming towards my car. I rolled down the window and he asked if he could help me with anything. I explained that I was driving someone with autism and they were acting up so I pulled over. He then said "Oh, ok, but we prefer it if people dont dump things in our parking lot." I told him it was ice and he repeated that they dont like things dumped in their parking lot. Excuse me sir, I have a child with autism throwing things in a vehicle and hitting the driver so I pulled over to make everyone safe and your worried about ice in a parking lot. Shut up and be more empathic to the world around you!! That ice could have been throw at my front window while I was driving and caused me to swerve and have an accident. Im really sorry that the ice caused a wet spot in your parking lot. Im sure the next round of rain will take care of it. Disgusting the way you treat people and situations that surround people with disabilities in crisis. I have been working with students with autism for over a decade and never felt this type of disrespect before. Shame on you.

My husband bought my engagement ring from the Lake St. Louis location in 2012. When he bought my ring he was told they do not sell warrantys due to they believe in their merchandise and will fix any issues that arise. Fast forward to today I had two pave diamonds missing from ring. About a month ago I took my ring and they stated that since its been five years I do not have a warranty any more. When they looked at my ring they stated that some other prongs were worn down and would have to be fixed as well as the the two diamonds. They stated it would cost 40 dollars to be shipped there, then the manufacturer would let us know what all the had to do without even giving me a price first. When I asked for a estimate they did not have an idea. Decided to take my ring somewhere else. When the other jeweler looked at my ring he stated that he would have to replace quite a few prongs. (Now mind you I only wear my ring when Im out of the house, not even at work due to my diamond being set high and not wanting to ruin it.) Fast forward to today got my ring back from the jeweler and they told me when they went to go fix my ring they literally had eight diamonds fall out. They stated that all of the prongs are so worn down. The jeweler stated that I an going to have nothing but problems with my ring, because of how my ring is put together. They stated that a ring only being five years old should not be in that condition. Which I agree with the way I take care of my ring. So I call Clarkson today talk to the general manger who pretty much blamed the whole situation on the other jeweler. The way clarkson handled the situation is absolutely terrible. I will never reconvened them to anyone. I hope no one else has any issues with their products like I have.

I purchased a Rolex GMT in 2010 with agreement to have one factory service performed within 5yrs of purchase. I hardly wear the watch but recently noticed the hour hand is not moving. I was advised by a Rolex dealer in Minneapolis to perform service at the time of repair. It reminded me of the agreement I had with Clarkson Jewelers. I would pay for repair and dealer would fulfill its promise on the service. Unfortunately the five years we agreed to expired this year and Clarkson Jewelers cant honor it anymore. Todd, the manager told me a story of his car being out of warranty by 4k miles and him paying for repair. Similarly I need to pay for factory service... I expected a little more from Rolex and Rolex dealer then I would from a used car... Unfortunately they did not want anything to do with me. Learn from my mistake.

Amazing experience! I took an opal ring in to get sized at Clarkson Jewelers. The ring was purchased for me as a gift from another establishment. When they were trying to remove the opal for resizing the stone cracked, as it was glued in an opals are very fragile (so I learned). Clarkson took what could have been a bad experience to an exceptional one! They took complete accountability and searched high and low to find the perfect replacement stone. They continued to be polite and professional throughout the process, even when I rejected some of the options, prolonging the search until I was satisfied. I am now more pleased with the final product, than the original ring. Todd, the manager, and the other staff members I worked with are top notch and I will continue to patron their store and recommend it others.

Clarkson Jewelers in Lake St. Louis sold me an engagement ring in the fall of 2011. I was told that the setting was 18 carat white gold however there are no markings on the ring to indicate that. This ring lost its color very quickly within two or three months and required recurring rhodium dipping in the short time my wife has had the ring. It looks like a ring that is decades old when it is just over one year old. We expressed our concerns to Clarkson numerous times and received absolutely no satisfaction. I have since replaced my wifes engagement ring with one of which she can be proud. I have foolishly spent thousands of dollars at Clarkson Jewelers but I will never visit there again. You would be wise to avoid this horrible jewelry store as well.

We had a custom 25th anniversary ring designed from wedding ring stones we already had and new stones purchased with Clarkson Jewelers. From the moment we walked in the door, we were welcomed and treated like they would have treated family. Jessica, and Tim the jeweler took great care in all the redesign custom work on this 25th anniversary ring. Every design detail was given attention. Now our family has a beautiful heirloom that will be handed down for generations! Thank you Clarkson Jewelers, and especially Jessica & Tim, who made the whole process LOOK effortless, even though it was anything but. Not only is it a GORGEOUS ring, it is Comfortable to wear!

Theresa at Clarkson Jewelers was very helpful. When I first started looking at engagement rings I was overwhelmed with everything a ring entailed. Theresa helped me through every step, from shapes of the diamonds, clarity, settings and everything in-between. I gave her my budget and we worked for a few weeks before we got a finalized look and I couldnt have been more happy. Everything about the entire process was extremely professional and I would recommend Clarkson Jewelers to everyone. If your are looking to buy an engagement ring, make sure you go to Clarkson and ask for Theresa.
