I had such an amazing experience with Buchroeders! Before this time that I purchased jewelry, I had only been to Buchroeders once, with a friend who was shopping and I had felt intimidated by all the beautiful stock since I wasnt the one who was shopping, but this second time I visited the store was so different. My fiance and I were browsing around the front display cases when one of the jewelry consultants, Sara S. came up and greeted us. Sara was so warm and genuine and had such a bright smile and she immediately made an effort to get to know me, rather than to get to know what my price range was. I didnt feel any pressure to buy, Sara just made me feel comfortable and made an effort to get to know my style. She showed me some gorgeous Sapphire rings (exactly what I asked for) and then when they werent quite right, but she could tell they were getting closer to my style, she took me to a case with diamond ring settings and pulled one out that she seemingly pulled from my brain! She seemed to have understood my style from our short 20 minutes together and found the perfect one for me. It didnt have a Sapphire set into it yet, but she showed me how it could be customized to be exactly what I wanted. She assured me every single step of the way that she would not let me get this ring unless I absolutely loved it. She prepared an estimate of the price for me with genuine and lab-created Sapphires as soon as I asked for it, and gave me an estimation of how long everything would take to arrive and set and size if we ordered it, but Sara never put any pressure on us to order that day. She made herself available by email and text and phone and she kept in excellent contact with me about the ring in the following days, sharing pictures with me and answering all of my questions. She was so patient. I probably emailed her back and forth 10 times in 4 days. She gave me her honest opinion and assessment of the quality and value and my fiance and I were back in there 4 days later to purchase the ring. Over the course of the 4 days of emailing, I asked her to order the Sapphires and they literally took less than 1 DAY to arrive. On the day that we came in to purchase the ring, they showed us the Sapphires and the setting again and confirmed all the pricing with tax. This time, my fiance had brought in his mothers engagement ring (with her blessing) to see if trading it in toward part of the purchase price was an option. The owner himself, Mills, came out to speak with us and explained the process of how depending on the style of a ring it might be worth a certain amount altogether, whereas other rings might be just worth the value of the gold and diamond(s) they are made from. Mills carefully took the time to look over our ring and was able to give us the value of part of the ring toward our new purchase (and gave us back the diamond we decided not to sell), which we really appreciated and did not expect since it was an older ring and not in the current style. Sara and Mills also took care to explain the financing options to us. They were so thorough about it, they were still explaining things to us after the store closed and they other consultants were putting the jewels around us in the safe for the night! It was such an amazing feeling to have so much attention and care paid to us! After purchasing they estimated the ring would take only 2 days to set and be polished and ready to be picked up (which is so fast as it is) but it was again only 1 day later and I had my amazing engagement ring on my finger! My fiance had to pick up the ring the next day while I was at work, so I wasnt there, and apparently Sara wasnt working that day either, so she texted me the next afternoon to congratulate me on my ring and say that she wished she had been there to see me get it in person and to check that it fit just perfectly. That extra attention is really what makes such a difference in this local business and what I would recommend so much about Buchroeders.

I was shopping for a specific engagement ring setting by Sholdt and discussed options with many merchants who are authorized dealers, both locally and across the country. My first choice was to shop locally but the level of service was not what I had expected based on others accounts. To boot, the pricing seemed artificially high and it was like pulling teeth to even get that information. I was pleased to find Buchroeders- although not a local store, then at least a smaller, family operation. I had one phone consult with a gentleman, then ended up emailing a few days later and quickly received a welcome and great feedback from Sicily. Sicily took really great care of me- she was quickly responsive, was warm and helpful, had great command of Buchroeders services and on multiple occasions walked me through different options and scenarios in terms of shipping, setting the stone, etc. At no time did she treat me differently because I already had a stone and was just shopping for a ring, nor did she try to get me to buy a diamond at Buchroeders. She kept me in the loop throughout the process- when she received my diamond, when the ring was received, when they set the stone, and when it was shipped to me. She wanted to ensure my satisfaction when I received it and seemed genuinely excited for my occasion and the ring that I chose- it is clear that she is in a field that she enjoys and thrives in. The ring looked great and the only downside is that the size was a tiny bit too big (totally my fault for relying on older information, since this needed to be a surprise for my girlfriend...). But Buchroeders will resize the ring and I have trust in them to do a great job. So overall, based on my experience, I found the store to have great prices and great service, and would recommend to others.

Went to get my ring cleaned today and got a FREE beer on tap! I LOVE THIS PLACE. Sent the following text to the hubby: "so that special gift you gave that is now my wedding ring set is a gift that keeps on giving in so many ways... which includes free beer on tap at Buchroeders!" He was uber impressed :) Ive told all of my friends to get their ladies rings here for when the big moment comes! I wrote this in 2014: Buchroeders has been nothing but completely AMAZING ever since I received my engagement ring last year. Since then, Ive had it sized, along with my wedding band after the wedding. They cleaned both rings and made them look brand new again! Recently, I unfortunately lost one of the smaller stones from my engagement ring (one that surrounds the larger middle stone). Normally, we would need to file a claim with our insurance company and have to pay around $30 or $40 to replace it and then later be reimbursed, but they just took it and replaced it without all the hassle of the paperwork simply because Ive only had it for a year!! What incredible customer service! Thank you so much to everyone at Buchroeders for making my experience so stress-free. Youve restored my overwhelming love for my ring by fixing it up without all the leg-work. It means so much.
