I visited this Plaza Audi to have a factory recall and warranty repair. After picking up the vehicle I noticed a very large scratch (approximately 3-4 inches) on the rear passenger panel right above the taillight. It looked like a mechanic or one of their construction workers was careless. I notified the assistant immediately who seemed to care very little and said he would have a manager call me on Monday. After several days with no callback I contacted Plaza and was told that the scratch was already there and nothing could be done. I wash this car every other day and KNOW there was no scratch on it when I dropped it off. I was furious, I know every nick on this vehicle and know for a fact it was not there when I dropped it off. Customers beware! They are doing construction around here and the lot is very small. The manager offered to buff the scratch but considering how deep it was it is still very noticeable. In my 17 years of driving I have never had a vehicle returned with a scratch on it. At one point the mechanic brought out a piece of paper that had a few details about my vehicle. There was a line that drawn over the back of the vehicle. This could have been marked on there as soon as I told the guy of the scratch, or a mechanic could have easily grabbed the document after he scratched it and marked it. There is no carbon copy of the check in paperwork, so they could scratch and ding any place on your vehicle, draw a line through that piece of the paperwork, and say scratch was already there. The assistant and manager I dealt with seemed to care very little about my issue or give any credence to the poor record system they have that can easily be altered by the closest hands. Just setting up an appointment to drop this vehicle off was a nightmare, no one ever answers the phone and they rarely call you back. I have been to dealers and owned vehicles that cost ¼ of the A6 I currently own and received far superior service. You could not pay me to take my car back there, I am sending out a warning to everyone, go somewhere else!

Today was the worst experience Ive ever had at a dealership service department. When I called to setup the appointment I said that I needed an alignment and at that time requested a loaner vehicle. When I went to my appointment, the man helping me said he had on the paperwork that I would be waiting. I explained that I needed a loaner since I had to be at work. He was immediately huffy, said they dont give out loaners for the service I was having done, and that in the future they would not be accommodating my request. He then gave me a loaner vehicle as if he were doing me some sort of favor. Between dropping off and picking up, I happened to receive an emailed coupon from Audi Creve Coeur for a discount off a service. When I returned to pick up my car I asked if Id be able to use it. The same man that was huffy when I dropped off acted offended. He said that first they werent making money off my service, that I didnt even buy my new tires from them (as though there was some sort of unwritten rule that I was supposed to), that hed granted me a loaner for the day for a service that didnt warrant it, and that again they were making no money off of me that day. I was completely taken aback. If they didnt want to honor the coupon, all he had to say was it couldnt be applied. He then, again as if doing me some sort of favor, went to ask his boss if I could use the coupon, where I could hear him say that he didnt want to but thought hed ask anyway. When he returned he said that I couldnt use the discount. I decided to clarify that I was never told about their loaner rule as an FYI in regard to his completely rude attitude. To this he responded that he was "FYIing ME" of the rule. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this dealership. The Kirkwood location is far out of my way but will be 100% worth the trip. If I couldve given zero stars I would have. Unbelievable.

Customer beware.......suffice to say, Im sure the dealership will state (as they already have) that my experience is merely an unfortunate exception. However, am genuinely concerned that there is a systemic problem with their service department that precludes them from achieving a true Audi standard. Here is a concerning sequence of events: 1. Delivered my Audi Q5 at 7.30 am Monday morning for a routine 25k service and was assured of delivery the same day (by Mike, service rep) 2. Monday evening, no call back by 5.20pm. I myself call, am told that Mike has gone home for the day (by Tom), he cannot find a ticket for the car to tell me what has been done 3. Tuesday evening 5.15pm, still no call whatsoever from the dealership, I myself call again, once again Mike has left for the day, Tom answers, cannot find my ticket again and has no information consequently. More concerning, cannot even find the keys for the car and moreover has no idea where it is on the lot (believe me, Im not kidding) 4. Wednesday afternoon get a call from Mike stating my car was probably ready on Tuesday but did not have time to call, also glib with a variety of excuses including reduced mechanic time at Plaza Audi due to construction, morning work meetings, etc.....but no good explanation for a lack of plain courtesy or why my vehicle seemingly "disappeared" in their system for 48 hrs ! 5. Wednesday evening 5.30 pm picked up the Audi, 3 days after drop-off for a simple service ! Not much else to say, draw your own conclusions about how safe your vehicles are with Plaza Audi or how much they truly care. Saint Louis has other dealerships that adhere better to Audi standards. Trust me, I know, I have been an Audi owner over 15 years.

Ive shared this previously with the salesman and sales manager. I share it here only based on the request the dealership sent. I was surprised and very disappointed to have such a bad experience at an Audi dealership - this is my fourth Quattro and I have been driving Audis since 1992. The used A6 was promoted with a falsified list of manufacturer installed options. When I raised those issues, the salesman and sales manager were evasive in responding. I raised the issue of low-end tires on the car days before I arrived to test drive, but it became a costly hassle anyway. Twenty minutes after I left the dealership for a 1500 drive home, the tire low pressure warning came on because it hadnt been reset after the wheels and tires were changed out. When I filled the gas tank after several hours of driving, I found that the oil level was a full quart low, which very likely explains why the motor ran hotter than these cars typically run during those first 300+ miles. The salesman was courteous and helpful to start, but once these issues arose and the manager got involved, the experience took a sharp turn for the worse. Settling up with the finance manager, despite time-consuming pre-arrangements, took nearly two hours - most of that time sitting, waiting, with no attempt from any of the staff to interact or offer help. I got no satisfaction whatsoever in my attempt to raise these issues constructively after I returned home. Needless to say, i cant recommend this dealer.
