I recently called and spoke with Brad Sanford about a fuel leak and the possibility that my cobalt may be covered under a recall. Within seconds he told me that my car wont be covered, but they could look at it, for a fee of course. The only thing I mentioned was that there was a recall before and one of their old employees, Gary Brewer (Awesome guy!) got it taken care of swiftly and without any concerns. Seeing that the phone call was going no where I was about to end the call when I heard Brad speaking with another associate. However, they were not discussing anything about the car or my problem that was leaving fuel wherever I drove. He must have not hung up the phone correctly as I was still hearing everything he was saying. Brad goes on for the next 6 minutes bad mouthing myself by saying things such as "He is friends with Gary Brewer if that says anything." He also went as far as to say things that were never spoken of. For example, he mentions to the other associate that I stated the following "Its got 120k miles on it. It should last for twice that long."(Which I did not say. Mileage was never brought up at any point) Then he continues by saying "I dont know where he came up with this stupid logic." After I had enough and decided that I did not want to do business with Brad anymore, I hung up the phone. I ended up going to Vaughns Auto in Dubuque where they looked at it and gave me a free estimate of $400. The following day they had the part, gave me a call, I drove my car in and it was fixed in 2.5 hrs. Vaughns was quick, polite, empathetic for my problem, and produced a fair price ($400 may seem like a lot, but most of the cost was from parts.) Go ahead and buy a vehicle from Runde if you wish, provided you are getting a decent deal. I only suggest that if you need a repair or would like to speak with someone more respectful then go else where. Hope this review helps you.

I live near the Quad Cities and have bought a lot of vehicles in the past. I had always bought locally and was leery to shop outside of my immediate area. I was in the market for a used vehicle and found what I was interested in on the Runde website. My wife, daughter and I made the trip to Rundes last Friday night after work and we had talked to Mark Fleege prior to making the trip. We made it to the dealership shortly before closing time. Mark was the most courteous, friendly and professional person I have ever dealt with in any car dealership. I was not looking at the most expensive car on the lot, but was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. By the time we arrived, it was close to closing time and I was expecting to leave and have to come back the next day or the following Monday. Even though it was late on a Friday evening, Mark was more than happy to take his time with us. He didnt rush us in the least and helped us purchase the car we were after. The finance person was also extremely nice and helped us secure the financing even though he had to stay well past closing time as well. I have never left a car dealership after purchasing a car and felt that I had a great experience with every aspect of the sale until I went to Rundes. In the past, I have been rushed, prodded, persuaded and made to feel bad if a particular sale did not go the way the salesman wanted it to go. I have already been telling my family, friends and co-workers about my great experience with Rundes. I cannot say enough good things about Rundes. When I am ready for another vehicle, rest assured I will make the trip to East Dubuque again. Thanks to Mark Fleege for a wonderful car buying experience. It was definitely worth the drive.

I was overcharged for what I had done and all my issues are still not fixed. My bill was padded with extras which Wes took care of and removed but now I am wondering how often that has happened. The truck I bought from you is a lemon and despite only having 50, 000 miles when I bought it has broken down continuously. I tried to speak to Mark Fleege about what could be done and he offered me 8500 to trade it in even though I still owe almost 11,000 on this substandard vehicle. He let me know "he feels just terrible about selling me a vehicle that clearly has so many problems" Yeah that helps. I am extremely unhappy about buying a truck through Runde and will never recommend you to anyone. I have loyally gone and gotten my truck fixed by the Runde service every time I have had a problem but no more. Last month I had to bring my truck in and I was told the problem wasnt covered by my warranty but then I came to find out no one ever even made the call to see if it was covered. Again, how often has this happened. I will say Wes was awesome and really tried to help me out but I think as a dealer you have an obligation to make this right and this was not done. My truck only has 67000 miles at this point and we are currently driving around with no heat since I couldnt afford to fix both issues this week. Thank god its almost spring I guess.

I was very happy with my experience at Runde. The salesman Tyler was very friendly. Being an automotive technician I inspected the truck as much as I could before purchasing the vehicle. When I got the truck to my shop and put it on the lift I found a leaking fuel line on the vehicle. I was a little disappointed because the fuel line ended up costing around $200.00 just for the part. I figured I would try and contact Runde about the issue with the truck. They stated that they would like me to return to the dealer so they could fix the problem, the issue was that I live three hours away from there dealer. After speaking with Chris, the used car manager he made an exception and sent me a check to cover the cost of the fuel line. It was great to deal with someone that stands behind the vehicles they sell. I would recommend this dealer to everyone.

Runde Pre-Owned had a 2007 Corvette advertised for sale for $32,497 I inquired about the car, Got approved for financing, checked Bluebook found car booked at $31,800 highest price. I offered $31,000 which I considered to be a fair and reasonable offer just slightly under bluebook value to the salesperson. He seem to take offense that I had checked the bluebook value and was not offering to pay the inflated over bluebook value advertised price for the car. Said he would check with the dealership manager if they would take $31000 for the car and get back to me. He never called back. Ever if the answer was no deal I feel he could have at least called back. or even called back with a counter offer... I was all set with my financing and ready to buy.. Not anymore...

What a refreshing experience! Had been looking on the Internet for a particular model used car & option. Found one here in Madison but had a very bad experience with the dealership salesman. Even tho they had a car I wanted, I refused to consider it after their price games, attempt to sell me a different car, etc. Instead I followed up on a similar car listed by Runde. Chris Kerkel responded promptly. I drove to see the car & liked it. Agreed to a good price & bought it with no hassle, no "document fee" or other hidden cost. Chris was very helpful in handling my old car too. Now I tell all my friends why its well worth the pleasant drive from Madison to deal with Runde
