I love HL. I was so excited to hear it had opened in the area. I have never seen the store junky or any of the negative descriptions some people have written in their reviews. On the social issue, people needs to get their facts straight. HL does provide birth control benefits, there were 21 benefits now there are 16. What they dont provide are morning after/abortion pills. Thanks HL for standing up for your beliefs and values and not allowing your company into being bullied. Values and beliefs are not part-time, wearing when it is convenient and leave them at the store step when they are not. If women who work for HL dont like the benefits they have the freedom to work elsewhere. Thanks again for opening this great store.

There was one employee that was a little rude to me when I asked her what I was looking for. I was struggling to articulate what I was trying to say so she would understand me but she seemed impatient with me. I was intimidated by her so I didnt bother asking her again. I went on my way to look for what I needed and I sort of followed her instructions that she sort of mumbled.. I almost didnt even want to ask her,"what?" But in the end I got enough courage to ask another worker and he brought me to where I needed to go. The other workers were definitely kind and helpful. Workers were available at all times which I appreciate so much! Clean and organized store. Go hobby lobby!

Why would people leave a review based on company ethics and not actual store quality? 5 stars just to help balance out the haters. If we are reviewing based on our own opinion of their corporate ethics (which is, by the way, based on an individuals moral definition) - lets also review: every single Walmart for obvious reasons, and HEY! lets review every Cub/Target/Byerlys/Supervalu/andEtc for sourcing Monsanto and GMO products. Reviewing individual stores based on your opinion of company politics is childish and nonsensical. So silly. Grow up. Review a store. If you have problems with the politics, take it up with corporate, or just dont shop there.

We are new to the area. I took a print to Hobby Lobby to frame. It was a very difficult job, as it was the cover of a magazine and it had the mailing label on it. We were so fortunate to have MONIQUE do the framing. She was amazing and came up with a very creative way to cover the mailing label with parts of a second magazine cover. She even made sure the grain on the paper was going the same direction. After it was mounted, you literally couldnt see any lines or patching. We were matching another print we had framed at HL in another state and she called the store to make sure the frame and mat were the same. Outstanding job!

This store is in the dark ages. Their point of sale system doesnt ring up sale prices...you have to remind the cashier to take off the discount. Also, they try to trick you with whats on sale and what isnt. The last straw for me was when I called them on the phone to see if they had 15 yards of a specific fabric. The clerk said to me, "Ill measure it when youre standing in front of me." How rude. They missed out on an $60 sale from me that day, and will miss out on hundreds if not thousands of dollars from me as I am a local seamstress. Extremely disappointing, horrible customer service.

I walked in here the other day to try to find some stuff that I need. This is a visit that I wish I never made. The atmosphere was not very welcoming, the people I asked to assist me were rude and judgmental (four of them), and I didnt feel the place appealed to the masses like it should. The rude employees gave me a snotty attitude. When I asked for the manager, no one helped me out. The experience was so bad that I walked out of there without buying anything. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. Also, I do NOT approve of Hobby Lobbys anti-women stance.

I love the help I received at Hobby Lobby in picking out frames and matting for pictures. They spent all the time I needed and my multiple changes. Thank you so much!! I know one review said that these reviews are about the store and not the philosophy of the store. I disagree. The reason I chose Hobby Lobby over another framing store was exactly because of their philosophy. Im blessed that the service is every bit as good as the people that own the company.

If youre looking for a store with an amazing selection for crafts, hobbies, and decorating, Hobby Lobby is the best. They have tons of great products, lots of ideas, and good prices as well as regular sales. If you are looking for a specific type of birth control and want your employers provided policy to pay for it, you might want to find a job at another place of business. But that seems beside the point to me. For crafting, this is hands down the best.

Excellent. Very helpful staff. Clean and easy to find your way around. Fantastic selection of crafts, home decor and gifts. Ive been to one in Topeka, KS, Maplewood, MN and this one in Woodbury, MN. Woodbury is the best so far. Maplewood was small and staff was not as helpful as Woodbury which is sad as Maplewood is closer. Maplewood didnt have and greeting cards. Woodbury had best card selection...including Hallmark cards.

Theres no competition between Hobby Lobby and Michaels or Jo-Ann in customer service. Hobby Lobby beats them all, hands down. The prices are competitive, and I found better selection in the things I wanted (mostly quality dip-pen inks, and framing supplies) here than the other places. The store is well-organized and clean, and I am happy to be done with waiting forever in line for mediocre service at Michaels and JoAnn!

I agree with another reviewer on why we should support a business whose owners impose their private religious beliefs on their employees and rip off the basic right that any woman should have. It shouldnt be the owners choice to decide if their employees can or cant get contraceptives. I, my family and friends will NEVER walk into their stores ever!

I love your stores. I shopped often when the store was close to me in Omaha. I believe in your business practices and would like to patronize you more. I live in the Burnsville area and wish you would open a store south of the river. There is an empty K-Mart building in Burnsville that would be perfect for your store. Keep up the good work!

Horrible - Dont shop here! Spread the word and put them out of business. Michaels and Hancock are MUCH better. Awful to the core. I also dont appreciate how they treat their employees with their health plan. No reason to shop here when there are much better choices.

I love this store and do not care about the liberal reviews below about healthcare and womens rights. Political views are NOT reviews. Hobby Lobby has a great selection of accent furnishings, decor, floral, and fabrics. Good sales and coupons too!
