I used to shop here all the time last year but the cashiers were constantly rude so I stopped shopping there. I always stopped my hobby of scrapbooking and tried to return 4 albums, 2 picture frames, and a bag of scrapbooking stickers without a receipt (wouldnt work anyway because it was over 90 days) and the cashier refused my return because I had "too much". I asked for a copy of their return policy, her response...."look online" I also asked for a name or phone number of someone higher than her or a DM manager and she said to call the corporate number. I work in retail and we always have a number available for the DM manager. I was so tired of her attitude and if Im not able yo return items I purchased at Michaels when its UNDAMAGED and UNOPENED I am DONE with the rudeness of this company!!!!! I will be shopping at Hobby Lobby from now on. They have amazing staff compared to Michaels and better quality with reasonable prices.

I wasnt too happy with the service from the custom framing department, they were really pressuring me to get a custom frame even when I asked for just a quick quote on a small print I was given. When the quote was almost $200 for the cheapest setup of a 12x18 print I said I wasnt interested and asked him to measure the print so I could look for a standard frame. He told me my print wasnt standard at 12.5 x 18.75 and would need a custom frame. I called the artist up and asked her about it and she was "horrified" that a custom framer did not know that it was a standard size (the extra being the white part around the edges hidden from view once framed). We had to cut a sliver of white edge off to fit but its now in a standard frame that I bought using the coupons in the app. I love that coupons are now paperless there.

Clean, well lit and not sooooo large that youd get lost or dizzy looking for something. Enough product and inventory to allow you to make choices and not run out. At times, it can be difficult to find an employee to help you. Once, during a particular busy incident, when the only employees I could find were all busy at the registers, I used my cell ph to call the store to try to reach an ee for help finding a sale item/to see if it was in stock....as I stood near the registers.

I always feel unwelcomed here. A couple nice workers but most seem like they dont want to be bothered. And the store has outsiders that come in and stock I guess, and they were all kinda rude and staring me down when I needed something from the aisle they were stocking . And this seems store feels like something is missing. More Variety in some sections. I went in Sept and Oct this year. So stiff.

I absolutely love Michaels, almost everything about it is perfect! However the staff in this particular store always make the experience a little unpleasant. When walking through the store, not a single employee will greet you, or ask you if you need anything. They make little to no attempts in engaging in small talk. I shop here all the time and love it, I just wish there was better service.

My experience at Michaels was horrible. There was no staff in sight, they gave me the wrong order and they werent courteous. I will never return to Michaels the Woodbury Hudson Road location. My experience was horrible. I will never return to a Michaels store again. I will shop at Hobby Lobby!

Once again, this is why I prefer Hobby Lobby. No staff in sight (except cashiers and framers). Wandered up and down every aisle twice for 30 minutes. Did not find the 2 basic items. Ill go to hobby lobby for their great selection and abundance of courteous service staff around each corner.
