I paid for the repair service of my iPad screen TWICE in past year, and the screen broke twice after their replacements WITHIN their alleged warranty period, but the store refused to honor their warranty. Gophermods offered 1-year "warranty" of their repair service. 1. On July 28, 2015, I paid Gophermods $129 to repair a broken screen of iPad; 2. On June 28, 2016 - the screen broke again and I brought the iPad back to GopherMod. Even it was still within warranty period, GopherMod stated the breakage is not covered, and as a result, I had to pay $104 for another replacement; 3. On July 23, 2016 - ONLY 25 DAYS after the second replacement, the screen cracked again, on the SAME spot of last crack. I brought the iPad back to Woodbury store and Mike, the store manager stated its not covered by the warranty. During the conversation, Mike admitted that they used screen supply from an after-market supplier. Really it indicated to me lower quality of the material is the cause of the issue. Meanwhile, I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau. Guess what has happened? the business fought badly with complete lie and below is their response to BBB: ______________________________________ "Both times *** came in, he was demanding and rude that we repair his device for free because the screen cracked. Both times, the damages were significant and not a sign of faulty workmanship or quality. Under many circumstances we will replace a devices cracked screen under warranty if we inspect the device and see no signs of punctures, drops or pressure marks; however, on this device there was a clear impact point on the display.After calling us"Stupid Jerks", we did not want to continue business with Mr. Zhang and asked him to please leave our facility. " ____________________________________ The business is completely lying - as a senior leader at a Fortune 500 company it would be very impossible for me to be perceived as "rude" and spoke dirty words like Stupid Jerks (is this a human language??? I doubt) . This business is very low and dishonest and I would recommend NO to everyone!

Addison helped me with my Iphone 6 screen repair and he totally rocked. I arrived right around 1020am, 20 minutes after it opened and there was one ahead of me and 3 others stepped in shortly after my arrival. He wasnt flustered and was able to help the customer before me without rushing her and also helped check me in without rushing me either. Everything was explained clearly. He accurately estimated the turn around time to get my phone repaired (1 hour 45 mins, considering those who had already checked in before me that morning), and when I returned to pick up my phone (I came an hour later than the estimation due to my own work calendar), and my phone was ready to go. He went through logistics they perform, pretty much smoke testing to ensure the Iphone continues to work as expected, and explained to me about the warranty period and the extended warranty. Prior to helping me, he was walking through similar check-out procedures with another customer. I was impressed by his professionalism, charisma, and attention to detail when helping a customer- doing all this while knowing that he was the only person working there (the counter and the repairs) that morning until someone else joined him recently prior to my checkout process. The way things were handled under pressure helped conclude that he does not compromise customer service under pressure. I highly recommend others who are looking to get their phone screens repaired here (my daughter dropped my phone and it cracked). The warranties at your phone providers still charge you a deductible on top of that monthly insurance premium they offer. This place offers a $20 one-time warranty if I should drop it again and it cracks, they will repair it- no deductible. Pretty awesome. I am hoping I wont have to use that warranty- but great to know I have options if it happens again (with children, you never know). Thanks for the great service, Addison!

Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced. Cracked my screen and they ordered a new one to fix it and it got there the next day. Called them that afternoon and they said they ordered a screen for me and inquired when I could come in to have it repaired. They told me that same day. I went in, only for them to tell me that the only person they have that is able to fix HTC Ones is only there in the mornings, so that was a wasted trip. Brought it in the next morning, they proceed to take twice as long as they said it would, didnt glue the screen all the way down, and in the process broke the microphone system in the phone so I could not send or receive calls. They said this fix would be on their dime since it was their fault, but it took them two weeks to get the new microphone in. If you can get a screen in one day, you should be able to get a microphone in the same time. Maybe a few days, but not two weeks. FINALLY brought it in to have the microphone replaced and the screen re-fixed and left thinking this headache was over. Boy, was I wrong. Tried calling my mother, and go figure, still wouldnt work. This ordeal has been nothing but a pain in the neck and the numerous people I dealt with at this store were all pretentious and condescending. I paid $150 for these people to not only not fix my phone correctly, but waste an incredible amount of my time. Would never recommend anyone to these people.

They dont even deserve a star. We ordered from them on a Friday and they stated that my screen would come in the following Monday, I waited the whole week after and received no phone call so my husband decided to give them a call thinking that we probably missed their call. When he called the following friday, they told him the screen hasnt arrived and it will the week after. This response was pretty sketchy to us because the worker sounded unsure and it mustve been that they didnt even order the screen at all the week before when we placed the order. Even so, we decided to disregard that and still follow through with them and wait another week. I called them again after another week to request for an arrival status but the guy/worker said that there were no orders under mine or my husbands name. To this point, I was not happy at all. Not because I didnt get my screen fixed but because they lied to us the week before saying it will arrive the week after, acting like we were in the system. Why couldnt they have just been honest and said that we werent in the system at all and that they mustve forgotten to place our order? I am truly disappointed and upset. They are so unprofessional! Dont go to Gophermods for your screen!! They are unreliable and are liars.

These guys rock! Second time coming to them for a broken screen. The first was many years ago before they had multiple locations, but this last experience was no different. I called to see if they had my 5S screen in stock and they did, so I went over and dropped it off. The guy said 90 mins and so I went shopping and came back about 90 mins later to a brand new screen. Plus he gave me 10% for being a return customer! Great service and repair! I recommend them to everyone who needs a repair of any kind not just broken screens! Thanks again, Gophermods!
