Prior to April 13, I had ZERO experience with motorcycles. Furthermore, I was far too intimidated to ever step foot into a Harley Davidson dealership or approach a person wearing Harley Davidson gear. You can say I had a very narrow view of what it meant to follow the Harley Davidson brand. In April, I was invited to take part in the St. Paul Harley-Davidson Riders Edge course. I accepted the offer and it was a fantastic decision. From the moment I stepped foot in the SPHD doors, I was made to feel welcome. Initially, I was a motorcycle novice that had no intention of buying a motorcycle, but that didnt seem to matter to the staff. When I asked Michael on the sales floor to educate me on the styles of bikes, he enthusiastically walked me through everything Harley-Davidson offered. The class and road course was great and I left Riders Edge a confident new rider. Fast forward 2 months, and the riding bug had bitten me hard. I had been riding friends bikes over that time and it was time for me to buy my own. I contacted the GM Kurt Harder, and he graciously invited me to go for a ride with him. Kurt walked me through different bikes that would work with my large frame and he was able to find the PERFECT used bike. Kurt seemed less concerned with making a big sale and more concerned with getting me, a young rider, on a bike I could afford. I could not be more happy with the bike I purchased, the price I paid, and the service I received. The past 5 months have been a great transformation for me. I began as an intimidated, uninterested, non-rider and have become an enthusiastic follower of the Harley-Davidson brand.

Lets preface by saying I used to think SPHD was one of the elite dealerships around in every facet. That was of course until I had the misfortune of using their service department for some minor work on my bike. Rear tire replacement, oil change, and rear fender install. So, 2.5 weeks later they FINALLY finished my bike after numerous calls of trying to get things escalated, etc. Just each time giving a new excuse for it not being done and yet another false promise of when it will be done. And for all my trouble, I get a nice full price bill which was more than originally quoted. On top of being called a liar regarding three very specific conversations I had with the service advisers. Basically, a thanks for your patience, thats it, nothing more. I would have expected at the very least an apology for our mishandling of your bike. Nothing. Im done with them, I wouldnt buy a shoe lace from them at this point. Ive dealt with many dealers over all my years with bikes. NEVER have I had a problem like this. Seriously folks, Im really not bitter at all over this. I just would have expected some gratitude and respect for what they did. My MVP membership is canceled and I will never step another foot in there. Along with many friends. Do yourselves all a HUGE favor. Go to St. Croix Harley, Blaine, Zylstra, Delano if you want to experience real quality and REAL customer service.

Ever since I was a little boy and my dad had one, I have always dreamt of the day I would own my own Harley Davidson. Last week, that dream became reality and I bought a brand new 2013 Iron 883! I got in contact with Kurt Harder of St. Paul Harley through a friend of mine. Kurt was great to work with and if anyone is considering a motorcycle, I will send them to St. Paul Harley! Kurt took the time to get to know me and when/where Id be riding my motorcycle. He then had me sit on a number of bikes on the showroom floor to see what I liked and did not like about them. We then talked about accessories to make my Harley Davidson customized to my individual needs. He showed me around the shop and I was very impressed with the garage area and the great care they take of the motorcycles coming in for repair. When I finally made the purchase, everyone I dealt with that day was very friendly and I truly felt part of a new family. They wanted me to come back for service, accessories, and just a general stop in to say hello. I have never felt this buying other motorcycles or vehicles. Other places it seems like once the papers are signed and you drive off the lot, youre not their problem anymore. Its the exact opposite at Harley Davidson. I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to a long future riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. Thank you, Kurt and St. Paul Harley!

I am a first time buyer of Harley Davidson, I purchased my Harley in March 2015. When I was purchasing the bike I explained to the gentleman that was helping me that this was for pleasure for myself and my fiance. Today 7-23-2015 my fiance and I went to St.Paul Harley with issues of the passenger foot peg is below the exhaust pipe and her foot is burning and she has to keep her foot on the edge of the peg. When we explained this to one of the gentleman there, he said he remembered the bike and that the person who sold us the bike should have pointed this out at the time of purchase, So he looked up who sold us the bike, we spoke to that person and he acted like oh well. We were under the impression that Harley wanted to have happy customers, well we are not happy and he acted like he didnt give a crap and gave us no solution to resolve this issue other than get different pipes! we paid 11,000$ for our bike why should we have to spend 1,000$ on pipes when he should have pointed this out to us, especially since we were first time buyers and the first person we spoke to said the same thing. Point being we left St.Paul Harley with a bad taste in our mouth and completely unhappy with him. We will be trading in our bike and it will not be at St. Paul Harley. COMPLETELY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.

If you want to buy clothes, they are okay to fairly expensive. So you might be okay. HOWEVER, if you need your bike serviced... stay away from this place! I had to have a new motor installed on our last trip to Sturgis. It all went well and I took my bike here to get the new motor checked over and tweeked. They insisted that I needed to put on an "upgrade" to the bike. It was to take three (3) days. After two (2) weeks of getting the run-around, I was told the bike was ready. Went to pick it up, and had to wait 3-hours because they were still putting it back together. After waiting until 10-minutes before they closed and then paying over $1,200 I was given my bike back. I rode it for just a few minutes and it had no power. Went back and they had closed. Took it back the next morning, told them the problem and left them with the bike. Long story short (ha ha), THEY KEPT IT ANOTHER WEEK AND I FOUND OUT THEY HAD INSTALLED THE WRONG PARTS (SENSOR AND ECU) ON MY BIKE! They had no idea, I found it and told them. Got it all un-done and them the money was an issue. They wanted to keep the fees for parts and labor for messing up the bike. They are crooks, so DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!
