Mike Brookman My recommendation is to find another place for any service needs. One star is too generous...should be zero at most. Looking for some very basic maintenance on a motorcycle which is advertised as a service provided on the company webpage. Also specified on their website is the statement they work on all makes and models. Person "greeting" me per my request for the advertised service instantly begins to lecture me on a need for me to do it myself. I have to learn how to do it both rudely and condescendingly. Also then informs me he isnt a dealer for my brand which I guess makes adjusting a chain something he cant...or doesnt want to do. All well and good. I dont know why the website claims they perform the service on all makes and models. Thanks for wasting my time. If you try to do business with this place I wish you good luck. Hope your experience is better than mine. Maybe youll get lucky. I was a 3rd generation owner of a local Chrysler / Plymouth / Dodge / Jeep store and if I had ever treated customers and potential customers like this I would have likely been out of business but quick. When my customers came in for maintenance I was happy to see them. Never told them they had to do it themselves because I didnt want to do it. How people stay in business today with attitudes like this...I have no idea.

I purchased an Arctic Cat 700 ATV from Century in July 2016. My previous review of Century was premature and critical due to some unfortunate initial communication snafus. However a friend of mine swears by this dealership so I thought I would give it another try; and I am glad I did. Once I met the people at Century in person I understood the miscommunication: I expected eager inexperienced hardcore enthusiast-types following me around the store machine-gunning opinions at me I never asked for. Instead, what I discovered was down to earth guys with loads of experience. They are mellow, honest and understated in their approach. In addition the atv was ready to go when they said it would be. This is important to me because I am buying the dealer as much as the product; I need a dealer I can trust. Finally the atv has run flawlessly and looks fantastic. I will buy from Century again!

I want to take this opportunity to describe and say thanks for the positive experience I have with the service department at Century Power Sports. Jake at the service counter is consistently friendly, helpful and competent, and I feel confident that hes got my back with service on our two motorcycles. I shouldnt tell that I request Steve for servicing my Yamaha motorcycle because everyone will begin to request him and then hell be too busy for me. He deserves my loyalty because of all the times hes come to my aid, whether its just a question or when I need service on my Yamaha V-Star. He always has time to listen and talk to me. These are two super employees who keep me coming back to Century Power Sports.

I dont know what happened with these who gave bad reviews. I have always found them to be helpful and professional. Yes there are some expensive OEM clothing things there but thats the cost of being current. They have great deals on non current items. Their new equipment is competitively priced. I bought a new snowmobile and needed a seal replaced under warranty that required the motor pulled out. When I inspected it after I could not see any evidence of the work. Not even a mark on the mounting bolts. I was happy I bought it there where theres an excellent service department Almost always one of the owners is at the store helping shoppers. They care.

Had them check a chainsaw for me. They determined it cost more to fix than a new similar saw. Charged me 37.50 for an estimate: When I said I would buy a new saw if they knocked of the charges they refused, claiming they make no money on a new sale. I couldnt believe it! I should have walked out, but instead I paid the 37.50, and will never do business with them again. There are plenty of Stihl dealers in the area who treat the customer fairly. I should have read the other reviews earlier, then I would have known who I was dealing with.

I purchased a Toro Recycler mower there last year and now it is broken. I believe it simply needs a new belt. To get this done under warranty, it has to be worked on by an authorized Toro Dealer/Service. I brought it in May 7 and they told me two weeks. I called 16 days later and they said they will not work on it until next at least week. Im looking at 21+ days minimum. Northwoods in nearby Oakdale said they try to maintain a 7-10 day turn around. I will try them out the next time I have a similar need.

Bought a Husqavarna Leaf Blower at a big box store that starts with an L and ends with an OWES. Saw they had them at this place and decided to return it and spend my money here instead. Ended up going with a Stihl... guy filled it with gas, started it up, took the box away and registered it online for me. Great service and happy I spent my money there. BG55 really blows too! Lawn hasnt looked this good all fall!

Bought spark plug, air filter and oil. Ask what gap is for my specific model lawn mower. Youll have to consult your owners manual. How much oil does that hold? Answer, Couldnt tell you. Are you kidding me, you can look up part #s but you have no specifications. Was planning to buy a riding lawn mower and new Stihl trimmer from here, just changed my mind. Way to go customer service.

We bought a 2520 John Deere a few years back and when I was there and the owner present, I brought up the tractor and the only response he had to me was, "you can always help us more you know," taken back by the customer seevice I sent him a bait I said "thank you" and his response was, "youre welcome be sure you come back." And that was the last time Ill give any service to them.

I recently purchased a John Deere Compact utility from Century Power Equipment. The owner gave me very competitive pricing and kept me informed of the status of my order. When my tractor came in, Drew and Mike delivered it and gave me a 3 hour orientation on how to operate it and attach the mower, snowblower and loader. The all did a great job.

These people probably have the unfriendliest, rudest and most unhelpful staff in the whole of Minnesota. Im not trying to exaggerate. I go there regularly because they are the closest John Deere and Stihl dealer in the area, but I hate it every time. I dont think I have ever encountered a friendly, helpful staff member there. Avoid if you can!

Service has been excellent with my 2011 RSV motorcycle. Tech is very knowledgeable on the bike and the turn around time is good during peak season. The tech even took time out to clean the bike after having routine maintenance done on it.

Ive bought a lot of new stuff here over the years and had quite a few things purchased elsewhere they have helped me to fix. The folks here are great. The bad reviews are stooges with bad attitudes or posted by competition.
