I booked an evening weekday appoint which they offered and was an hour and a half before the stores closing hour. When I arrived I was greeted by a very rude employee who made it seem as though I was late, and stated to me "I think the eye Dr is still here." Starting digging through paperwork in the garbage like my information had been thrown away or something. They had called me twice for my ins. company phone number to verify my insurance, but they had to verify my insurance again when I arrived. I was there specifically for the exam because I needed contacts. I was told multiple times how they dont do many contact there, but mostly glasses and it seemed like they had a lack of knowledge on contacts which I thought was very odd. The eye Dr. had no idea of what contacts I wore... had never heard of them. The tech who did my eye puff part of the exam was rushing through it and stated he was trying to leave like I was there late and holding people up. When I was going over my charges and attempting to purchase contacts after my exam I was being looked at by an employee like I was holding them up from closing although the store didnt close for 40 min. and I was told she couldnt price the contact for me because the person who did that wasnt there. Really, only 1 employee knows how to get the cost of contacts? I felt so uncomfortable by the behavior of the employees the entire time I was there I will NEVER go back there.

The staffs there are rude and not so helpful. I went there with my mother some time ago to pick up my little sisters glasses. While I was there, I was seeking for a good pair of glasses so its only natural to try on a few. Once I tried one on, one of the staff laughed and mocked me. I asked why he was laughing and he said that I must be crazy to pick that glasses. I shoved it off my shoulder and left the building. Another time, I called asking to speak to a doctor about the issues that I was having with my contact lenses (since it was my first time having contact lenses, I didnt have much background of keeping it safe and etc. and they didnt taught me much about anything relate to contact lenses.) The same guy picked up. After addressing the issues that I had, he once again laughed and said, "You had an eye infection. You didnt know that?" I replied, "No, of course not. Thats why I called for a doctor." I dont see how thats a laughing matter. I was honestly clueless and was seeking for help. Honestly, they have the poorest customer service Ive ever experienced.

I have been going to this Pearle Vision for at least 10 years now. To be honest there have been times when the customer service was lacking- often it feels like the norm wherever I go. I have continued to go there because of familiarity and location. I am so glad I stuck it out. Over the last few months or so my household has been making frequent trips in to get everyone eye exams and new specs. There are a lot of new faces and a few old. My glasses are amazing, they carry LOTS of designer frames. I have a brand new Bvlgari and they are gorgeous! My husband has nice wood grained Ralph Lauren frame and the kids got Ray Bans this year. The staff was helpful, enthusiastic, and genuinely cared that we got the best options for our vision and that we received the best value with our insurance. A couple of weeks after we were in we even got notes thanking us for our business, how refreshing is that? Awesome place ! Highly recommend ! Will be taking my parents there next month! A true hidden treasure in Saint Pauls Midway area.

Half of the time I contact them, I talk to courteous and knowledgeable staff. The other half of the time, I get a woman who is incredibly rude and unintelligent. She didnt even know if certain frames could be sold outside of medical assistance. On top of the rude staff, it has taken 2 1/2 weeks to get my sons glasses and they still havent arrived. They told me it would take one week, tops. When I asked about the wait, the woman on the phone told me that we had so many specializations (a high prescription, anti-glare and transitions) that it was taking extra time. I call BS. I normally get my sons prescription filled at Walmart (its incredibly cheap - $89 for lenses with transitions, anti-scratch and anti-glare) and it takes FIVE DAYS. I went with Pearle Vision because they carry Miraflex and we needed to get the next size up in frames. I will never go to this store again and I recommend ANY other store.

I came here yesterday with my wife. I sat in the car while she went and about 25 min later she comes out balling, I mean crying very bad, tears running down her face, gave me enough reason to immediately storm the place screaming my head off but instead I thought this would be the more humanly respectful thing to do. So here I am. This place was always good to me(over 7 years.) so thats why I referred my wife. Never have I seen my wife cry this way over being talked to as if she was nothing, less then nothing. Disrespected in every way, rolling eyes, giving a nasty attitude,"its this way or nothing, she says"So never again will she or I come here again. Is this how customer service should be?? I THINK NOT!!! ESPECIALLY TO A DISABLED PERSON!??!!! And I am for sure putting a complaint to the boss. As soon as they call me back....

After reading all the bad reviews, I went to Midway Pearle Vision anyway. My experience there was great! I didnt have an appointment for an eye exam, and they were booked. Still, I waited only about 15 minutes for my exam. The young lady, Tavia, (who helped me select frames) was really wonderful -engaging, personable, knowledgeable, out-of-this-world helpful, funny, charming, efficient, took time with me, and offered her opinion on how frames looked on me, which I really appreciated. I dont have my glasses yet, but my experience there was really good. People who werent even assisting me were friendly and engaging too. Cant believe its the same place of the bad reviews. Kudos to the staff there. A+

Today I experienced one of the BEST customer service experiences ever! I walked into the Midway Pearl Vision and was quickly greeted at the door not just by the the kind lady at the front desk, but by everyone that was working in the store. I was seen quickly, even though I was a walk in and the women that help me was AWESOME!!! The sales associate that helped me was named Sarah and she helped me from start to finish. She helped me pick out my frames and even made me laugh. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE! Thank you for the wonderful experience! Great customer service is hard to come by and today showed me that it still exists.

Had an appointment today-walked out. The white woman with longer hair and condescending behavior had a horrible attitude from the start. Im a FT working educated professional with 2 kids and I have no time for b.s. I was a few minutes late for my 11:40 appointment and they act like people have all day. 20 minutes in and I still am not being checked. Im paying full price for my appointment -no copayment.Theres no public restroom for people and all attitudes there are ghetto. Mainly the white woman-not the blonde. NEVER AGAIN-unless youre ghetto this might be the place for you.
