Bought a cartridge with no hardware or documentation. Contacted them about it and was told: [copy & paste right from their return email] "Sorry, Bruce, theres not literature on those. Theyre very old, and we package them ourselves. As far as screws go, you might just have to check at the hardware store for something thatll work. Again, these are new old stock, and dont include anything." Nice. Would have been nice if I was told that before I bought. Ok, I made an assumption, but isnt it reasonable to assume that when you buy a car that it comes with tires? Then they accepted a return but acted like they were doing me a big favor. Refused to refund my shipping even though THEY were the ones that messed up. Will never order from again.

I came up with using a turntable for family game night. Everyone takes turn picking out records , and games. Except I could not find a working unit. Over a few week period I brought 3 to Jim, , and Id say he is definitely a needle doctor. He assured me the first two were not worth any money to put in, and the 3rd was the charm. He was able to determine exactly what it needed quickly and got it working nicely. I purchased a new cartridge, and it sounds great. They also had some really nice units for sale, and quite a bit of gear. This is a good business, with good people.

I bought two needles as described in the turntable manual. When they arrived they were wrong and I asked for some help, I specifically said I did NOT want a refund or to return the products as it was my fault. The issue was that a different stylus was fitted to Australian turntables and the manual did not specify this, again I full accept responsibility but asked for help in getting the right stylus. No reply even after two polite requests for help. I guess they got my money and figured it was all a little too hard. I would not use again - ever

Im pretty sharp with many aspects of hifi, but quite ignorant about turntables. Thankfully, Pat & Jerry are sublime in this regard. They quickly diagnosed the problem with my Technics 1200 (bent sylus), and fitted an Ortofon Blue cartridge. It works terrific and I now understand why folks bother with vinyl. It can sound very very very good - with help from the Needle Doctor. Their service is excellent and their prices are competitive too : > ) . I highly recommend these folks!!

GREAT SERVICE AND STAFF. I went to the Needle Doctor yesterday with a non-working turntable and limited knowledge of proper setup and care for the turntable.
