I went in to sell my pandora charms and the guy offered me a pretty high price but I said i was going to look around. Then I came back a week later and they would only offer me not even a fourth of what my bracelet was worth so i declined and tried to come back later and then they told me my pandora bracelet wasnt even a pandora and they couldnt take what I had. Very rude employees and very terrible customer service. I would NOT recommend selling something there to anyone who wants to get anything for what they are selling. Also the guy looked at my charms for maybe a minute sitting at a desk before he said they were fake which means he didnt even want to negotiate with me. VERY RUDE

Went to a another local pawn shop about 2 miles from these guys and was extremely put off, found these guys on Google and figured Id give them a shot, been there a couple of times now and they are great, not what I expected after my previous pawn shop experience. First time sold them some gold, got a excellent price and got paid in cash!! Also was way more then the gold guys at the Mall of America quoted me. Second time I bought a car amp and speakers and paid almost half of what it sells for at Best Buy so fair to say Ill be back!!!! A+

Stop in here often to see what they have. The guys that work here are very helpful and they are always willing to negotiate within reason. I especially like their variety, they buy pallets of store returns and other things besides the normal pawn stuff so you can find a variety of things for very low prices. Tools, Fishing gear (some high end) and other stuff that you wouldnt always find a ton of at a pawn shop. Their location up north off of 169 is great too, lots more fishing equipment.

I went to this place every today, after carefully reviewing all the reviews on pawn america locations, after reviewing I seen hat this place pays more for your gold jewelry, then your local pawn america! So what I do? Listen to the reviews and went to to this pawn shop on texa-minnetonka blvd,and I was given WAAAY more cash for my jewelry then I actually expected, the reviews were CORRECT, thanks I will come again for sue!! I how this helps someone else who cant decide where 2 go.

Great customer service and very reasonable. Just moved to Minnesota and was in a need for money to pay rent. I went to American Pawn first and the customer service there was rude and unwilling to help. They made me Feel like I was a drug addicted customer that was bugging them. Excel was a breath of fresh air. I would recommend them to anyone.

Glad that I read the reviews! I would sum it up thus: Friendly, honest, fair. What more can one ask for? It had been years since I had set foot in a pawn shop, so I wasnt sure of what to expect; but I was treated with respect, and was given more than a fair price for my items. This is the place to go in the western suburbs!

Just went to this pawn and brought a Blu-ray with surround sound, I asked if it came with a remote, the 2 guys that were working went above and beyond to find the right remote for it. They were also ok with my 3 year old zarxxter running around. I highly recommend this pawn shop
