If I could give this review zero stars, I would. I have had wonder experiences every other time I have gone to this location, for dog merchandise. The cashiers and helpers on the floor are, for the most part, friendly and helpful. However, this last call put me over the edge. I recently adopted a guinea pig from the Shakopee location, and was excited to bring him home. But it hasnt even been a month since I adopted him and he already passed away yesterday. Today I called and asked if there was anything that could be done. The manager of the pets department was completely rude and snarky when answering any questions I had for her. They have a 14 day return policy on animals, which I completely understand, but I was not aware of this at the time that I had called, and she was very rude when answering me. Instead of a simple, "I am so sorry to hear about your animal, unfortunately there is a 14 day policy and you are over the policy time limit", I was given a rude answer about how over her rules she was and she made it seem like I was stupid and should already know everything. It was my fault for not reading the form before I signed it, however I was not informed at any point during the adoption aboutthe 14 day policy, and so making it seem like I am dumb when letting me know is not okay with me. At the end of the phone call I said "Thanks, I guess" and she chucked and hung up on me before I could finish my sentence. I will never buy an animal through this location again, I will continue to purchase merchandise like dog food and toys because I have had better experience with the front of the store, but I suggest you do training on customer service when handling situations like this. I hope the little boy I saw excitedly walking out with his newly adopted guinea pigs the other day does not have to go through what I did, and that his live a long and healthy life unlike mine.

I have lots of pets so when I go to a petstore, I could be looking for anything in a very wide variety of items. So, I was super excited when this store went in and opened up. Unfortunately, this Petsmart never seems to have anything Im looking for. In every case though, I was able to get the item quickly from Amazon. Many wasted trips have taught me to go directly to Amazon for what I need.

I am always greeted at the door by a friendly staff member. As I walk through the store, at least one staff member asks if they can help me find anything. Everyone is super polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. Its easy to navigate and find items I need by using the signs. I have great experiences here.

Small store and employees tend to not be attentive to customers. Also a couple people who work there have no idea how to bag crickets... you are NOT supposed to blow air into the bag before closing the bag of crickets thats dirty air you need to "catch" clean air.

Went to PetSmart because I got a grant to have pet for my classroom. I chose fish. I had no idea what to get and why. Elsa helped me with every question and basically picked out my fish for me. Loved her attention she gave me and made sure I was good to go!

Clean organized store, but checkout person often forgets to ring up discounts and coupons correctly though, have to be very careful and watch them all the time. Everyone is nice and helpful though, and fixes their errors in a timely manner

Crappy job grooming. My dog was in bad need of a groom. The first time I took him there, they did a good job. This time they knicked his scrotum and left him with tufts of hair in several places. I do not recommend this groomer.

Hard to find the staff, but then they really werent very knowledgeable. Difficult to determine prices on some items, because price signs seemed randomly placed. Couldnt really determine which price applied to the specific product.

Fantastic workers, always friendly and ready to help. took our new poodle to class there. Claire is such a great instructor. I also like all the gals in the beauty parlor. We are very happy with the new pet smart. :)

Its one stop for everything pet- friendly groomers, can stop by for quick nail trim without prior appointments. Choices for kibbles, treats, toys for pets of all sizes and shapes. Prices and products are top quality!

Ok store. Doesnt carry the brand of dog food we buy and was out of stock on the vitamins I wanted. Checkout staff was good - gave me a coupon for a discount on vitamins I bought instead.

Staff are super friendly. This PetSmart store does not have as many critters as the other locations. Fish, reptiles, hamsters and guinea pigs the have; ferrets and bunnies they do not.

PetSmart has a wide variety of pet foods and supplies. The workers are friendly and welcoming, even to our goofy very large puppy. They also have terrific dog training classes.

The lady I talked too was very knowledgeable about green spotted puffer fish. I had just gotten two of them and had no idea how to care for them. She helped me tremendously.

Great service and a pretty large selection of products. I was pretty happy with the dog grooming service I received, but definitely prefer going to an actual grooming salon.

Helpful staff and great selection. Never used groomer, Baby Boxers dont need much. Ordered online and returned to store. No questions asked.

Put your dog on the waiting list for grooming. I seem to get him in every time. So many dont show up for their appointments.

Elizabeth is the best groomer! My dogs respond really well to her. She does an amazing job and it shows on my dogs.
