Never held high expectations of this location to begin with from previous experiences, but when the staff member looked my 4 year old in the face and told him he couldt have the fish he wanted because his tank wasnt big enough and questioned the set up we had in an extremely rude and condescending way I was done. I have never experience such rude service, especially directed at a 4 year old. After not wanting to buy the set up she insisted we needed (even though what we have is what THAT LOCATION SET US UP WITH) she then rudely and extremely roughly got my son the ONLY fish she would sell us and made sure we knew even that fish was a stretch for our tank. When a 4 year old tells you "Mom shes going to hurt my fish in the bag" you know theres a problem. My kid fought tears the whole time because all he wanted to use his hard earned money on was a fish friend for his current fish (since one died) and he wasnt even allowed a choice of fish because of this chick. Didnt even let him pick a fish from the 1 kind she would allow. She just sloshed her net in, dumped it in a bag and shoved it at us. Unreal. I get that they need space- I am not about animal cruelty at all, but maybe EDUCATE the customer on the whys and the options available and let them approach the topic with the child instead of making my child feel like he was wrong and bad for picking one he couldnt get. This chick was NASTY. Never again will I allow the staff at Burnsville to treat me and child this way. Get you staff in line. Unacceptable.

I booked an appointment for my dog to be groomed while I was down in the metro area for a meeting. During the visit, he jerked his paw and the groomer grazed his skin, causing a small injury to his paw. When I went to pick him up, I was greeted by the staff and a manager who explained what happened. They were very apologetic, took him next door to the vet to have his would looked at, cleaned, and glued, and covering the vet bill. They also gave me 50% off of his grooming services. I was very impressed with their efforts to ensure my dog was well cared for after the incident. If I lived closer, I would definitely bring him back to this location. The groomers in my area would not have discounted the service or covered a vet bill. My only complaint is that the actual groomer who was with my dog was not there to explain what happened. The manager and a different groomer did an excellent job explaining, but an explanation or apology from the groomer would have made it a 5 star visit! He looks very handsome with his new haircut and he appeared to be well taken care of!

First time using this location for grooming. Just a simple bath,nail trim and ears cleaned. I picked my dog up and they said he did great. Got my bill and they attempted to charge me for something I didnt ask for. They did remove the charge but at the same time pushed it off as I miscommunicated with them. I get my dog home and he is constantly shaking his head. I called back the next day to be given multiple reason he could be shaking his head then after a brief hold I am informed that they thought he might have an ear infection. Isnt this something they should have told me when i picked him up? They then offered to do an ear flush if I wanted to bring him back in. Never again. I will stick with the Eagan location for my grooming needs. They are a no B.S location and tell you all the important things. I am very disappointed.

Ive been taking my dog there for 3 years now and their grooming service has gone downhill. I have my dog get a "pawdicure" includes nail trim and fur trim. I had been satisfied up until this past year. The last 3 times I have been extremely disappointed. My dogs paws appear to not be trimmed at all. I specifically ask them to trim the fur between his pads and it looks like they dont cut any of his fur. I figures one time may just be an accident, so I gave them another chance, and another chance. Now after the 3rd poor grooming service I will be not taking my dog there anymore. Here are some pictures of their "Pawdicure" along with what I trimmed off his paws in 2 minutes. Unacceptable!

Oh my God are they complete idiots here! Like unbelievable. I used to bring our puppy all the time well within the last year they got a bunch of new hires and customer service went downhill. I had my vet fax our dogs shots papers 3 times and nobody knows their heads from the butts! Id call to let them know something would be faxed. My vet would send it. Id wait a bit then call and somehow they never recieve it. Ichecked if the fax# was right several times. Its disgusting and the last 2 idiots who cut my dogs nails went so low they bled. I now go to groomingdales in Farmington because Im so disgusted by them. Plus they do better and cost less!

Awful. NEVER BUY A FISH FROM PETSMART. At least Bettas. Here are my bad experiences: 1) I got a male betta from petsmart that was sick from the get-go, only I didnt notice this until I brought him home and he never ate and died after 3 DAYS. 2) My second betta (who I purchased from a fish store I trust, not here), was in perfect health until I put an aquatic decoration (a green sea turtle) that I bought from Petsmart in his tank. The paint, I noticed, was dissolving into the water and removed it, but it was too late. He got a tumor and died today, although Petsmart said I was "just overfeeding him".

I brought my Siberian Husky in for a grooming on Wednesday and was a bit nervous bringing him for his first grooming at 10 months old. He got a bath, brush, and deep conditioning and while when I dropped him off, I was a little unsettled by the amount of up-selling they tried to do to me after I had told them plenty of times I knew what I was getting, his groomer, Rachel did an amazing job. He came prancing out looking like a completely different dog. It was obvious that he had been well taken care of while at the groomer and looked amazing. I was very pleased with the results.

My husband and I used to go to Petco, But one day we decided to check out petsmart and WOW what a difference . When we used to go to Petco we have always noticed how dirty it is, hair in the corners of isles, floors filthy, bathrooms a mess, when you leave Petco the carpet is just full of pet hair I have to pick up my dog, gross. Its wonderful bringing our dog into a nice clean place that has a great staff and a wonderful selection of products. We will never go into Petco again.

I am so upset at the groomers with the nail trims I have gotten for my dog there. This last time my dogs nails were trimmed so short in the front one of the nails bled all day!!! They did not use any quick stop or anything and missed clipping one back paw entirely. Very amature staff some very cold and apparent they dont like their job. Then dont work there! My poor dog is so traumatized she wont let me touch her paws anymore. I contacted management and will never go back
