Will not go back to the restaurant again. We had a group of 5 that came in. 3 of us ordered the special (all you eat wings and fries) first of all the wings are small and not a lot of meat. After over a half hour we finally got our food. 1 of the orders was messed up they had used the wrong sauce, ok it happens no big deal. Tokk another half hour for the right wings to come out. When they brought them out 2 of us placed a second order for wing since we knew it would take a while. By this time it was a little after 6 and they were starting to get a little busy. We left at 7 and had still no gotten our second order of wings. Not once did our waiter apologize for it taking so long. We asked 1 more time before we left about the wings and he said he would go back and check if they were done yet. He came back out with other people good and did not come over to give us an update so we had left. My wife has worked in the food Industry and k ow it takes about 7 mins. to cook wings yet we waiting an hour and did not get any. Also the chicken on my wifes salad had no flavor and it was swimming in dressing. All in all we will find other places to dine.

DISORGANIZED STORE! I came to the store on numerous occasions for wic vouchers only to run into headaches each and every time. First run in was getting milk, they were out of kemps so I got house brand only to find out its not allowed. Numerous cereals that were marked wic allowed on the shelf, were not allowed at the register. Produce didnt have prices and when asked the employees on the floor they said to go to the register for pricing..ridicules! Even the assistant manager didnt have answers. I got some basic produce and went to checkout only to find out again that they are clueless about wic, none of the items were allowed.. bananas, potatoes, apples... the basics of the basic. IF YOU WANT TO AVOID HEADACHES AND ENJOY SHOPPING FOR WIC, FIND ANOTHER STORE THATS NEARBY. GREAT PLACE TO WALK AROUND ON A RAINY DAY BUT NOTHING MORE

Great produce layout and selections. Several different specialty departments and reasonable prices on many items. We went with our dad who has never been to one, and he really likes it. Our kids love the mini carts for kids - very cute. The meat department, deli, 2 different bakery areas, smoothie bar, and 2 hot food areas (great for lunch and supper stops). There is an area dedicated to beauty and some clothing (nice appearance). Many of the fresh items in the deli and throughout they try to obtain from local farms/companies. I bought a few MN made preserves and honey. It is a LOT to take in for the 1st time going. For those who have lived out west - stores like this are common there. The Iowa based stores Hyvee and Aldi are taking MN by storm, and its about time. There is finally competition in the area unlike before.

Whatever on ads never get filled and you end up have to pick something different with higher price. Also, check your receipts! Try to trust the store and shop with peace of mind but I cannot get from here. Most of soda deals, you MUST buy to the number they mark which is tiny. Two stars come from the store cleanliness...because its new. And the good looking desserts which makes me feel like im lost in bakery/dessert store. Update: give them a try again. Try the 8pcs chicken bucket. It was more expensive than other grocery stores yet the chicken taste old and has very thick batter and salty. 8pcs included 3 small wings, 3 thighs, and 2 small drums. I didnt tell them that I only want the dark meat or small pcs of chicken. Not gonna buy this again and warn ppl to stay away from Hyvee fried chicken. Blah

They offer budget-to-high end options for almost everything! Today I went in and got 8 - 1/4 lb ground Chuck hamburger patties, 8 gourmet (13 options) HUGE brats, 8 hamburger buns, 8 hotdog buns, a pack of American cheese and a dozen chocolate covered ice cream bars for $15! And even when its super busy, they open up registers if there are more than two people in line. The last time I went after work, the lot was packed....but they had eleven registers open! Got out in no time. And ALL of the employees are extremely pleasant. I havent had the opportunity to try, but they have several different delis, like a burrito station, pasta station, Mongolian grill, etc. Plus a great restaurant. With your Hi-Vee gas card, you can save a MAJOR ammount of money on gas! No lie.

Hy-Vee excels in its wide selection of items. I found its natural foods carried some snacks and cereals that previously Id have to visit a dedicated health food store to find. Ive also been enjoying trying out the specialty sodas they carry (the Spring Grove Lemon Sour has been a real hit). Additionally, Hy-Vee carries all the regular items I look for at a grocery store, so it is quite convenient. My main issues are that the prices tend to run a bit higher than Im used to and the checkout lines tend to be backed up a bit, with 2 to 3 people waiting in all lanes. Im hoping the lines are mostly a new store thing and will get better.

Impressive! The first thing I notice about this is the parking lot seems to be always full, but until I finally found a spot I noticed some parking spots that you dont seem daily. For example, the Have spots for veterans and electric hybrid vehicles. Once inside, you see variety. Choice produce, grocery selections, sit down restaurants, meats, pastries and more. What really caught my attention was the clothing and makeup area, as almost like the first time seeing a grocery store inside a target but the opposite. Overall, the store defiantly peaked my interest and will be heading back periodically.

I love just about everything about our new Hy-Vee except that they pre-slice the meats in the deli. The turkey ends up getting shredded by the time its packaged and there is nothing left that resembles a "slice" when you go to put it on a sandwich. I also recommend that the meat at the hot sandwich area be covered so that it doesnt look so dried out by 6pm. The meat dept has never failed to impress me!!! Awesome job!!! The tiramisu(sp) is awesome!!! The restaurant is fantastic!!! Last note, is it me or does it feel like there is a prison guard watching me at the self-checkout?

I have never been to a Hyvee before, so decided to stop by the store at 8am opening day. Employees everywhere in groups, not really paying attention to customers. I was looking for donuts and after walking around 3/4 of the store, finally in the freezer section an employee asked me if I needed help, then took his time to walk me personally to the sweet shop. I spent 12 years in retail, so was quite disappointed that it took so long for someone to realize I needed assistance. Donuts are Great, however incorrect number was written on my bag resulting in getting overcharged.
