Ive been with verizon since 2005, and being between contracts, i was going to resign a new 2 year contract and get a badly needed new phone, at the verizon store in roseville. after being appalled by the fakeness of the salesman, and his trying to confuse me with numbers, and different "schemes" of his to get more money out of me, he wouldnt let me sign a new contract due to other reasons, which are valid, which Im grateful for now....i left the store dumbfounded, wondering what had happened.....i didnt leave with a good feeling....the salesman seemed more like a car salesman, than someone selling a phone/phone plan(i dont remember verizon being this bad before.....the salesman was acting weird, almost robot-like, which is probably how theyre trained by verizon).......i went into sprint in roseville the other day, and the atmosphere was completely different.....yes i waited a long time, but the salesman was a REAL PERSON. not a manufactured salmon personality, of someone who just wants to trick you into taking your money. MITCH WEST is the name of the person that helped me, and help me he did. He was superb. He was patient to the questions i had, very humble, down to earth, real, no hidden agenda or motive behind his words, and he seemed on my side, versus against me to scam me..........that sprint store was a completely different atmosphere, than that verizon store........i dont know how the other sales people in that store are with their customers, but i say that mitch is AWESOME, and really helped me out, and i would say that his conduct must be a reflection of sprint as a whole, and i would recommend anyone to go to sprint(at least the one on snelling in roseville......)if they want a phone company thats a "what you see is what you get," no hidden agendas, where were dealing with actual people, rather than people operating out of the guise of corporate greed, the customer is more of prey than something to be taken care of. Again, thank you mitch for your awesome customer service. you made my transition from 10 years at verizon to a new provider really really really easy. thank you.

My husband and I worked with Rufus (sales associate) and Bea (manager) back in December to merge our plans and upgrade our phones. When we were there, I informed Rufus and Bea that I was supposed to be signed up for the iPhone forever plan. For some reason my account wasnt reflecting right in the system but I was told by Bea and Rufus that they would honor what I was told. With that said, we did the upgrade and I turned in my iPhone 6 that day. We were told that there would be a lease cancellation fee that would show up on our next bill but to just stop in to get it waived. Well the fee showed up on our bill three months later and we stopped in as told and were told that everything was worked out and the charges were off. Long story short, they didnt take the charges off and we ended up having to stop by the store 5 times and were told each time that it was taken care of. Finally I called sprint customer care because the charges were still on our bill ($500) and I was told that the staff that I worked with lied to us about waiving any fees. I was also told that there was no record of my iPhone 6 being turned in, which is bizarre being that it was turned in when I upgraded. I have been with sprint since 2012 and have never missed one payment so to have to go through this just really turned me off from wanting to continue my service with them. Well defniately be shopping around. If I were you I would either avoid this location of at least be careful when working with the two employees that I mentioned above. Record all conversations you have with them if needed so you have hard evidence.....Nick Spiess (an employee at the location) was really helpful and finally got it figured out for us.

Take those one-star reviews with a grain of salt - this is by far one of the better Sprint stores in the Twin Cities Metro Area. I used to work at a third-party owned Sprint Store as a DSR - Dedicated Service Representative, a tech, a repair person. I was pleased to find on going to the store with an issue that my Nexus 6 was having that Scott, the man in charge of all of the technicians at the company I used to work for, was there that day. He did not directly handle my repair, but the young gentleman (that Scott had likely trained) was courteous, did all of the proper steps (including trying to sell me a different phone, which i politely shut him down on). It was very busy in the store and I got helped very quickly, and in the few minutes that I was waiting I observed the transactions of those being helped before me and all of them were extremely professional. I used to work for a store like this... a lot of the common complaints that people have about store service, their bill being higher than quoted, etc.... those arent things that are usually the employees at the stores fault. Some blame lies on corporate, but mostly its user error. If you come in with a rooted phone, or a water damage phone, it cant be repaired or exchaged... there are policies that are in place to prevent fraud or abuse that prevent phones in those (and some other) conditions from being serviceable. People dont like to hear that so they give a one star review, but this store is more prepared to help you with your issues than any other Ive been to (or worked at) in the Twin Cities (and thats many).

If i could give them no stars I would. A week ago I bought the new iPhone 6s Plus and they convinced me to buy a $40 screen protector that has a life time warrantee on it. The next day I had a small chip in my screen protector. i went to order a new replacement screen protector and I need to give zagg (the company who makes the screen protectors) the order number of the screen protector that I bought. Sprint is telling me they cant find the order number. Well, I got charged for it so how the heck isnt there an order number. ALSO the "manager" Calvin is one of the rudest people Ive ever talked to in my life. He was no help at all. He was very insulting and condescending. After he argued with me for about 20 minutes over this situation I told him that its only been a week that Ive had it so how about I come in and return the thing instead. Calvin said to me "let me ask you a question. What makes YOU think that you can return something thats broken." The way he speaks to people is ridiculous. Ive had sprint for 7+ years and never experienced such horrible customer service. Calvin put a bad name on the whole store. I am completely uncomfortable with going back to that location. The fact that hes a manager makes it that much worse for me. Because of my experience with Calvin, Im reconsidering my service with sprint.
