UPDATE: I visited with the store manager about this situation and he had already informed her of his wrong doing. She stated that they are working on their customer service skills. As I was leaving the store, he stopped me and apologized too. Time will tell if any of that was truly meaningful. As for now I will continue to shop here. I have changed my rating from 1 star to 3. Im giving this store a 1 star rating because Ive never had an issue in the ten years Ive shopped there and I want this to be noticed! I had a horrible experience their manager that was on duty today (Justin) Heres what happened.... He was checking and put a bendable metal wall decor item in a bag with a 4lb bag of cat food. I asked that they not be put together because I didnt want my metal sunflower bent. He huffed, seriously huffed at me, and removed the bag of cat food. He continued ringing up my other items and then said "can I at least put the canned cat food in there" It was four cans which would have bent the highly bendable item. I replied "I really dont want that bent" He huffed again and said "Well were running short on bags and I really dont want to use so many." (3 bags is all I used, but 2 would have done just fine had he knew how to properly bag items.) I told him to remove it from the bag if that was an issue. He didnt remove it, but continued to huff like a three year old throwing a fit. He finished, told me my total and didnt even count my change back to me. I then asked for a manager, thats when he informed me he was the manager on duty. I told him that how he just treated me was rude and not appreciated and he started talking over me saying he was just trying to tell me they were running short on bags. I then said "I will call back later a speak to the actual manager, because you dont treat or speak to customer this way if you want to keep them." He then in a very snide tone said to me, "My name is Justin and the number is right there on the door for you. Have a great day" Really, is dude for real? Its not my fault youre low on bags. My cat dry food didnt have to go in a bag, but you insisted on putting in one. I offered to let you keep the bag my metal sunflower was in, but you were to lazy to remove it. I truly believe this store doesnt want their customers treated this poorly and will do the right thing, but it will be awhile before I return to this location.

I think Dollar General has forgotten this store. Theyve had a broken cash register for almost 2 months now. It needs more room to expand, and the shelves need to be stocked. It does have friendly people working there.

I love the workers here. Sometimes the customers are creepy but in general it is a decent place for a gallon of milk and good cereal buys. Their detergent prices are great as well. Love the location.

What youd expect from a standard Dollar general. Good customer service. Located next to a gas station and a pizza place.

This dollar General has nice employees and a good selection. Much more convienent for me that Wal-Mart.
