Well, my new forced insurance plan forces me to go to CVS....up till now I have been going to Dans discount pharmacy and paying out of pocket. I would have stayed at Dans if allowed because they are superior in EVERY way. Cost, customer service, you name it. Anyway, I had to transfer a prescription from Dans to CVS, which was fine, however, CVS declined to tell me, up front, the ramifications of doing this. You see, the medicine I take has to get prior authorization from my Dr. To the insurance company for me to get it with insurance, because you see, insurance companys are fill with useless beurocrats that know whats best for us...anyway, that means I have to wait...now, yesterday when I did this they said it would be quick, today when I call, they say it could take a week. Now, had I know any of this beforehand I would have just paid out of pocket one last time and let all this other crap happen but, nope, cant send the script back where I would be paying half of what CVS charges out of pocket. The whole situation really sucks, the people at CVS just act so haughty and snotty, verses Dans, that treats you like a person...even a friend. CVS acted like every question I had was so trivial, and I hate talking to automated people who spew company lingo like its the millionth time and they cant be bothered. I hate that my insurance company forces me to change pharmacies, and who know how much they will eventually start to meddle in the business thats between me and my Dr. I just cant wait to have to deal with whats ahead, and cant wait till Im able to go back to Dans where people actually care.

Terrible pharmacy. The older lady pharmacist told my wife her prescription would be ready at 12:00pm.eWe went in at 11:30 and neely (the pharmacy tech) was rude and the pharmacist yelled and ssid it wont be ready until noon. I said Ill just wait. She got really mad so I said you are filling these peoples prescription that they just called in 15 minutes ago and are waiting. My wife called her RX in 3 dayd ago. If they can get filled first thats unfaor. I said probably because we are an inter racial couple. Yhe tech threatened to csll yhe police 3 times and I told her to go ahead Im not going anywhere. So since then tje pharmacist ban usfrom all cvs pharmacies. Just as well walgreens are cheaper and nicer as well as all the other pharmacies we have used in spfld. They are racist, mesn snd hateful. I hope gor their sake they dont make the wrong people mad. I can understand why some people go crazy and shoot up a business.

RUDE!!! Such poor customer service with ignorance on transferring prescriptions. Was put on hold three or four times and kept getting disconnected! No responsibility taken on their part without me even accusing them. Was being helped by pharmacist but put on hold to help someone else while I had to look for my insurance number, then never got to speak to him! Worked for Walgreens for 8 years, Im well aware of how things work and I was severely disappointed in this pharmacy! Will be returning to Walgreens as I just gave CVS a try thinking my RX would be cheaper.

Best pharmacy in many states. Im in the military so my wife and I have moved around A LOT! With that being said we have done business with numerous pharmacies for the whole family. I can honestly say we have had no good experience with none of them until here in Springfield. Everyone of the pharmacist are so nice and helpful. The most recent experience my wife had with them was amazing. To sum it up, the doctor messed up and the pharmacist spent a lot of their time to research and fix it. I wish there is more then this we can do but thank you!

Hit or miss. Youll regret it on a could have been a lot more polite when asking me to move out of the drive thru while I waited but I guess they could be trained better. Waited on the phone for 10 minutes simply to speak with a person in the pharmacy. It should be better than this. I have 2 pretty sick kids and dealing with bad, slow customer service is the last thing I need. A total of 20 minutes later (10 minutes after promised) I went through the drive thru

I welcomed their arrival, as the man across the street was too busy. Turns out, poor planning on CVS part. 1) A PhD Pharmacist should be able a field a basic question. At least once. 2) When a total of two Rx customers, in store, have to wait 45 minutes ... you tell me. Why are they no longer 24hr/day? I cant imagine. Oh, and Rx mistakes! Some I guess one might consider favorable, for controlled substances.

We r going back to lawerence drug even if it cost more. My insurance changed and has us using cvs, we tryed them several times and was treated rudley, on hold for 10-20 min at a time sent ALL over town back and forth becuase of confusion on who had wich meds for our suffering children.
