I have lived in Northfield for awhile now and I have been a customer at the bakery way more then a handful of times. I am not here to dis the baked goods because they are good but the service and owner are so unbelievable rude that I cannot be a customer no longer. My 3 year old had to go potty when we were out on a walk and since Ive been a customer so many times I asked if we could use the restroom but they said ABSOLUTELY NOT since I am not going to buy anything. We were on a walk so I didnt bring any money and like I said earlier it was for my 3 year old child and they REFUSED! For people to be so inconsiderate to a child they do not deserve anymore of my business. A bakery in a small town is a must and I think that is a wonderful thing but to this bakery PLEASE LEARN MANNERS and as I read other reviews I know now that I am not alone on saying this!

Worst customer service. So my friend and I were walking downtown, it was super humid out so we went in to sit down for a little bit before our job interview. We were thinking of getting something before we left. The lady their stared us down then asked what we were looking for, I responded nicely with "oh we are just waiting here for a little bit" she asks us again but louder this time so I had to repeat myself. After that being said, she rudely told us, "you cant just sit there, there is benches at bridge square for you to sit at" I will no longer be a customer here. this isnt the first time she and her husband has treated customers like this.

man working at the counter informed me AFTER he took my order and prepared my drink that he refuses to serve me unless i hang up my phone. i fully respect the decision, however, please understand that serving a customer is more than taking their money. how contradictory is it to take someones order, prepare their order, and only THEN, when the majority of the service aspect has been fully carried out, to rudely tell someone that they "refuse" to provide service. how is one to interpret that? you served me but refuse to take my money? absolutely rude and disgusting service.

Ok so as I continue around the cities and suburbs looking for my favorite cake and buttercream frosting. My favorite food . My freezer is full of cakes and this one might get tossed. First of all I was a nervous wreck going in there after reading about their rude behavior. They were ok. Not real friendly but not rude. The cake does not taste like it had butter in the buttercream. Had a lemon flavor I didnt care for . If you want lemon its fine. I been to the other bakeries in the area and this is the best in northfied. Its fine but not in my top 10 to go back to

Stopped into the Quality Bakery of Northfield to grab a small box of donuts for a training that Im doing at work this morning. Heres how my conversation went with the owner of the business... which if you are a fellow Northfield or you already know what is coming and trust me I tried all the right things to try and make this very short visit go quick. I was already questioning why I was walking into this place to support this business anyways. And now for sure this was the last. Me: good morning!

I live just a few doors down from the bakery. When I first moved in I started going every few days. However, the owners are so crabby it is not even worth it. I have seen her yell at customers, she never says hello and is generally just gruff and rude. Her husband is a bit better, but not much. Personally, I have decided its not worth it and have started going to the Brick Oven Bakery down the street.

This is my favorite bakery world-wide! I have travelled extensively and think their white cake, cupcakes and pasteries are the best. And their homemade breads are fabulous, too. The owners and staff are helpful and have treated my family delightfully over the years. I live in the twincities and travel to this bakery when I want a really good cake for my guests.

I always order cakes, especially birthday cakes for my guests from this bakery and I live in Minneapolis. The cakes are moist, love the frostings and the owners are very creative with decorating ideas. Its worth the drive everytime! Great customer service, bringing my purchases to the car when I have a lot to carry out...have to stock up!

Owner of the place (only person I ever see working there also) is INCREDIBLY rude. Granted the doughnuts are good Ill give you that but be prepared to be verbally molested the minute you walk in the door. Such a sour lady selling sweet delicious treats, the irony is great.

This bakery brings back fond memories of my youth where I enjoyed a large variety of quality pastries. Their products never disappoint and they are a joy upon each visit. As a hometown favorite, they strive to meet my needs whenever I come in.

The owner was rude and cold, the donuts were less than tasteful (tasted like a bleach). I would have expected something more from a small time bakery. I will never return nor will anyone I know if I can help it!

Good food but if your gonna have a small town bakery, learn to treat people nicer. Worst costumer service in Northfield.
