The staff are occasionally friendly and professional. Ive visited this location three times, the first time the staff were friendly but pushed me to change my plan to get a new phone. The second and third time I had staff who spent more time on their cell phones than with me, and were always ready to pass me off to Verizon support on the phone. To top it off, they all seem to have different information on the type of phone upgrade and plans you can use, and put the wrong address down for my iPhone (an address that couldnt exist in the U.S., since the street name was just a string of numbers). After two hard credit checks (which reduce your credit score) I still havent received my phone and Verizon has simply cancelled the order. Dont bother going to this store. Youre better off calling a Verizon representative, they do the same thing without the wait time, and chances are if you go into the store, youll wait 45-minutes before they pass you off to a phone anyway. **UPDATE** I went in one last time to try to get a new phone, and received prompt, friendly service from Hayley. She was helpful in pricing out different plan structures, and made sure my phone was set up properly before I left! Im leaving it as four stars simply because I think people should know that the service can be variable depending on who you get. I highly recommend Hayley.

The employees are incompetent, careless, and will pass the buck so you have to repeat your problem over and over. They will tell you anything to make you feel like your phone works fine and leave you with the same problem you came in with. They will talk you into a plan (i.e. going from single to family) without disclosing that your warranty will become void and your roadside assistance will be cut off. They will sell you the wrong cover to your phone and when you bring this to their attention, they will hand you a box-cutter blade to cut holes in it to make it work, instead of exchanging it for the right one. They will also over-bill you, advise you not to pay the additional charge, telling you that it will auto-correct itself. Then you will have a late fee, your phone will be turned off, and you will additionally be charged a reconnect fee. Dont ever leave your phone with them to solve your problem as you go to work, because when you come back to get it hours later, it will be lost (and no problems corrected). They will wipe off your information (without asking).... the list goes on. You might think the convenience of this "uptown" location is worth a little hassle, but you will be left waiting, frustrated and condescended. We had a very good experience at Roseville, if youre looking for one.

Everyone was very helpful! I was somewhat of a guinea pig as Ryan (manager) was training in Joel (new hire) - however, it went very smoothly! I was activating a newly purchased, certified pre-owned, iPhone 6+ to my already existing account and it was a breeze. There were a few technical errors with regards to backing up my phone - that I later worked out on the Apple side of things, but other than that - these guys knew their stuff. Even after I overheard other staff members dealing with a very angry and vocal customer (not angry with the staff, angry at a online survey he was taking), they kept their head up and continued with business as usual. I could tell the managers took good care of their other teammates and they all seemed to work well as a team. They ended up thanking me for my patronage, when really - I want to thank them for their great service!

I have always had excellent customer service at the Verizon store on Lake Street. Every time I go there for assistance the staff are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I had to get a replacement Iphone last week because my battery was dying. Drew, the manager, quickly ordered me a new phone. He did this with a smile on his face even though I arrived at the store right before closing time. I received the new phone by noon the next day! A week later, the replacement phone died. I went back to Verizon and worked with Hayley. She inspected the phone and confirmed I hadnt damaged the phone and proceeded to order me a replacement phone. She too was very friendly and helpful. I recommend this store. They are often busy, so you may have to wait for assistance, but, in my experience, the staff are always ready to help.

Verizon is an awesome company with an awesome product but the reps at the Lake Street store in Mpls give them a bad name. I would advise avoiding this store at all costs unless: -you like being put on hold for 20 minutes plus. -you like being lied to about being put on hold. -you like not getting calls returned. -you like getting your contract date screwed up. -you like wasting your time. They will avoid you if there is a problem and team up on you when you go to the store to resolve. They are intimidating and I believe they know it. THANK GOODNESS for the Verizon *611 customer service reps...they saved this account and have always gone out of their way to help with questions and do whatever they can to correct the mistakes this store has made!!!!

I was given the run around from the sales person, assistant manager Javier, Store manager Mike, and the district manager Ryan Malmquist about an error that the sales person made about coverage of insurance. I was left with absolutely no help from any party and they frequently told me to go to anywhere else but there store for help on information. I love verizon as a company but this store is the worst I have ever seen. If a district manager cant even provide any assistants to a customer who in his store can then??? I will never return and hope no else does. I would agree with many other reviews that this store flat out only cares about making money and not helping customers.

Verizon has the worst customer service ive ever dealt with. I pay 200 plus a month and THE LEAST THEY COULD DO IS LET ME SPEAK TO A REPRESENTATIVE. Ive been on the phone, on hold, being transferred, for an hour and my phone is just about dead. Im calling to see if the store has a certain phone in stock so its important that i speak to someone specifically at this location. Ive never been so upset. I will be taking my business elsewhere when my contract is over. Disgusting

I went into Verizon after breaking my phone. Jack was awesome. He went over what phones could help me with my work and got me the best deal. I ended up sticking with Iphone but was very happy that I saw all my options. I always hate going in for problems with my phone but this was the fastest its ever been. I was walking out with a new phone and back working within an hour of getting there. The whole staff was very polite and gave me all the information I would need.

GRANDMAS BEWARE. Do not allow nice old ladies in this store. These people will fleece an old lady just to get their commission and when you go in to ask them to make things right they will feed you some bull. Very disappointed in Verizon for taking advantage of a 76 year old woman. It does not matter if she cant even work the devices they sell her. They will take her money and run.
